Another short chapter but it's just to try and make sure the chapter titles make sense. They'll be longer after this, I swear!
Thanks for reading!
Fez.
Dean led Castiel out, glad to see his limp had gotten better.
They padded through the hall, Castiel wiping his tears away before they fell. They walked through the big corridors with all the awe and wonder of explorers in an unfamiliar jungle, exotic birds replaced with art displays and animals with occasional older students on their own missions down the halls. Dean didn't know where he was going and Castiel had only a faint idea as he squinted at each classroom door.
When they finally found their classroom, it was in full riot mode. Paper and crayons were being thrown across the room and squealing children were running everywhere.
"Miss is coming!" roared Castiel, in the too-loud voice he had used earlier. Everyone froze, staring at Castiel before they all snapped into action: Chairs were righted; paper and pens and crayons were stuffed in drawers or the bin, Dean noticed one pile building under the chest of drawers; drawers were replaced; crayons put in pots and as the door knob turned, everyone raced to sit down.

Miss Masters walked in to find a group of smiling children sitting angelically in chairs. But something was wrong. Anna had red pen scrawled on her left cheek, Lucy was trying to push the drawer under her desk into the slot, whilst grinning up at her and paper was sticking out from under the drawers by the window.
She sighed, but at least they had cleaned up. She walked to the front, their eyes following every move she made. She collected a pencil from her desk that had definitely been in the pot on her desk.
"Right, when you all grow up, past the point of putting red pen on each other's faces." She paused and watched as every pair of eyes went to Anna and then a bright red Lucy.
"You will want to see how small you were. So everyone line up and we'll mark your height on the door frame." She beckoned them to the door and pushed Lucy's shoulders against the frame, making sure her heels were touching the wall. Then she carefully drew a line against the top of her head, showing her height. Lucy turned and scowled at it.
"I'm small." She complained, folding her arms and pouting.
"You'll grow." Miss Masters laughed, writing her name next to the line.
Everyone in the hastily-assembled line had marked their height on the frame.
Castiel was pleased when he saw he was taller than Dean.
"I'll grow." Dean told him with a frown at the offending line on the door. He was one of the smallest in the class.
Miss Masters smiled and patted his head. "You will. You may even grow bigger than Castiel!" She told him, and Castiel shook his head, grinning at her. He seemed to have recovered from what happened earlier, although he still ducked from her hand when she came too close.
"That'll never happen! Not ever!" He claimed and Dean pulled a face at him. Castiel pulled one right back, and this continued until the last person had been measured and they were all sitting down again.
