I own nothing.

You wake to the sound of deafening music from somewhere in the next room.

"Wake wakey Dip Stick!"

"Ooooh great, Ember." You say.

You look out the window to see the fire haired she ghost fighting the hero.

"What should I do?" You say.

"Nothing, get inside!" He yells while blocking her attack.

"Oh you have company? How about I just get them to say my name!" The screech from her guitar sends you back to the other side of the room.

You struggle to stand up. But you are light headed. Is the room spinning? You quickly try to find his phone. He has to have Sam in recent calls. You look under the couch, on his bed, every where? Then you think 'Where would a young man leave his phone so early in the morning?' You check the bathroom without luck. You open the fridge hoping he is like his father. The phone is next the milk. You out the cold object in your hand and dial.

Sam picks up on the first ring.

"Hello? Danny, it is three A.M. I'm sleeping." Sam says. You can hear her turning over.

"Sam, it's me. Ember is here what do I do?" You say. You wanted to help you need to help. They have you place when you were lost.

"What are you doing?" Danny says. He has a burn on his shoulder, but otherwise, he is okay.

"Hello? Hello? What about Ember?" Sam says.

"Never mind." You say and hang up the phone.

"You defeated her already?" You say.

"Well, yeah. She and Skullker had another fight. She always does this." Danny says as he applies burn cream from the cabinet on to his injured shoulder.

You see the scars of past battles. White lines and burn marks all over his chest. Your heart twinges. You had no idea how much a show could actual hurt someone. You laughed and cheered as he fought, but at what cost.

"Are you okay?" Danny says.

You snap back to HIS reality. "Yeah, fine. Just thinking. I'm going back to bed." You say.

As you lay your head back down your cell phone starts to ring. Who in this world even knows you number? How are receiving the call?

"Hello?"

"Sweetie is that you?" She says.

"Yeah, it's me. It is so good to hear your voice." You say holding back tears.

"Why are you crying? I just saw you 15 minutes ago. I just went to the store and wanted to know what you wanted for dinner." She says.

"15 minutes ago. No, I've been here 15 hours." You say.

"Oh haha. I'll be home in an hour. So hamburgers or pi-" The battery dies.

"15 minutes. Duh. I'm in a carton. Time moves differently. I have 60 hours until she gets home. I may have a chance to act like this never happen." You say out loud, but is that what you really want?
