A/N: I know I started this a long time ago but I didn't really have inspiration. So life happened, I got busy but I thought about this story again and ended up writing a new chapter. I don't know if anyone is going to read this but I needed to write it.

Aria could still taste him on her lips. She wasn't expecting to see him at the funeral and she definitely didn't expect him to kiss her. It was a pleasing turn of events. Everything that happened with Ezra was always surprising. She would always think she knew exactly what would happen with him and then he'd go and do something that showed her how wrong she was.

She pulled up into the driveway. Spencer had another SOS meeting, but they weren't any closer to finding out who A was. She looked around her to make sure that nobody was lurking in the bushes. Aria wasn't taking any chances. She noticed a black car parked in Ezra's driveway. She arched any eyebrow. Visitors at 11 pm? She felt her stomach knot. Maybe he brought some girl home ugh She thought to herself. She took a deep breath and then got out of the car.

"Think about what I said Ezra!" She heard a female voice yell out.

She swung her head around and saw a tall woman with dark brown hair walk towards the black car. Ezra was standing near her and he seemed to be urging her to keep her voice down.

She watched the woman get into the car and speed off. Aria could see how upset Ezra looked. He was pulling at his hair as he watched the car disappear down the road. Before she knew what she was doing, she walked over to where he was.

"I heard yelling.. are you okay?"

It took him a moment to register that Aria was standing in front of him.

"Did that wake you up?"

"No. I just came home.. who was she?"

Ezra sighed. "It's a long story, Aria."

"I have time."

"It's late."

"And?" She said stubbornly.

He smirked a little. "Come in? I'll tell you."

Aria looked back at her house. All the lights were off, her parents would probably think she was still at Spencer's or that she was quiet when she came home. She didn't want them making a big deal about Ezra.

"Or do you have to go home?" He asked mistaking her deep thoughts for hesitation.

She snapped out of it and shook her head. "No I don't. It's okay." She smiled sweetly at him.

The two of them headed back into his house. She took a seat on the couch.

"That was Jackie..she needed to talk but it got complicated."

"Is she the one you were with?" Aria asked, trying not to sound jealous.

He nodded his head.

"Oh."

"We're not getting back together."

Aria tried not to look to happy about that. "Why was she yelling?"

"Because that's what she does. If I don't agree with her, I'm the bad guy."

"Maybe you should just cut all contact with her for awhile? I'd imagine having her in your life would make it harder for you to move on."

"I could but I don't know. I've known her for a long time"

Aria felt all her dreams of the two of them being together die a little. She tried not to let that show on her heart shaped face. "I see. Well it's kinda late, I should be going home now." She stood up and tried to leave.

He grabbed her hand and stopped her. "I like having you here, Aria."

She looked into his navy blue eyes. Why did he make it seem like there was no hope and then go and say things like that? Damn you, Ezra she thought.

"I like being here."

He smiled when she said that. He looked so cute when he smiled. She wondered how someone could be infuriating yet adorable all at the same time.

"Good."

"You deserve to be happy. I just think you should know that."

"Thank you."

They smiled at each other in a comfortable silence. Aria knew that it would all work out or it was all going to crash and burn. There would be no in between.

A week had passed since she last talked to Ezra. She wished things would work out with him but it seemed to be stagnated. It was clear to her that she had never felt this way about anyone before. In reality she didn't know him for a long time and it made no sense. All she knew was that he was all she would ever want. That knowing he existed made her believe in hope, love, and miracles. Nobody thought it was a good idea because guys who don't want you never change but she knew he did. She could feel it when he looked at her.. when he kissed her. Of course she would meet the perfect guy for her and it would be difficult. "Passion isn't supposed to easy,"she said out loud.

Spencer said she would call 5 minutes ago but she didn't. Aria realized that her phone was still in her car. She sighed, turned her laptop off and made her way to the front door. Pulling the door open she saw that Ezra had just arrived home, she almost smiled until she realized that there was a girl with him. She stared for a second and then Ezra saw her. He froze and looked guilty. Aria couldn't believe what she was seeing but what did she expect from him? The stupid girl turned around to see who Ezra was staring at. Aria quickly closed the door and turned around. She pressed her back against the door and took a deep breath. What the hell just happened? Willing herself not to cry she ran back upstairs and laid down on her bed. Looking up at the ceiling she felt numb and disgusted. It really wasn't difficult to guess what was happening next door. She just wished that she had never seen him with someone else.
