Dear Lavi the Ninja Panda, I'm really glad to hear that~! Both things I mean. Me neither, I'm no good with names.
Dear My Name is Alice, thank you very much. It's no problem, I didn't have any idea either. (Though I don't think Gareki would let Yogi give his cat a name.)
Dear NezYu, this one thing you had to say still brightened my day, so thank you.
Dear yaoiprincess101, thank you very much for looking them up. Some are pretty adorable.
A little bit of golden Joy
He was lonely and besides that, his saviour had even taken his toy. Slowly, he crawled out from underneath the bottom bunk and taped to the door. Carefully, he put his paw though the clearance between door and the ground and tried to pull, but to no avail.
Frustrated, he tried once more and let himself falling on his behind. Staring up the tall door until he remembered how the humans used to pull the shimmering golden thing up there. He liked over his lips and stepped back before jumping – and dangling from the door knop.
He mewed slightly in fear when the knop went down and tried to push himself higher when suddenly the door opened and he fell down. In alarm, he quickly run underneath the bed right now and watched the floor outside, but nobody seemed to be there. Slowly, very slowly, he crawled out once more and stepped into the floor. Nobody, not even the odd sheep were there. The small cat meowed miserably before starting to look for his saviour or 'Yogi-Idiot'.
His paws started to arch, his stomach grumbled. And the voice of his saviour still seemed so far away. But he didn't want to give up just now. Besides, he was lost.
Eventually, his savours voice was close, he was so close, he could already smell him. Without thinking, his paws moved and he ran though the half-opened door, sprinting past blurring outlines before jumping and safely being caught by his saviour. He meowed happily and reached with his paws for his saviour who pressed him slightly against his chest.
He couldn't help but purr.
"You seem to have caught an odd companion", a voice spoke, a voice he had never heard before. But it sounded amused, and that couldn't possibly bad now, could it?
His saviour's heartbeat was faster than usual, so he leaned up and gently licked his cheek before meowing gently. His saviour readjusted his grip and threaded his fingers though his golden fur. "I'll take care of him, please don't make me leave him on the streets again."
He heard an even bigger grin out of the older male voice when he answered, "Has the cat grown on you? I think Yogi would love having one around as well. But the Second Ship is dangerous for little animals."
His saviour swallowed gently before answering, "I'll take care of him and I'm sure Yogi and Nai will also lend a hand. He won't get into your way."
"Did the cat grow on you? How very unusual. Could it be that you relate to it?" The old human said, still sounding so amused, maybe even more amused than before and his saviour was still worried. It didn't make sense for him.
His saviour opened the mouth and closed it once again, without a reply.
"I would never have though you were the motherly type, Gareki-kun, but first you take in Nai, now a little stray…" somehow the old human sounded as if he was making fun of something now.
And his saviour growled his reply, "I'm not his mother." In a try to smoothen his saviour, the golden kitten cuddled up and meowed agreeing.
"Oh, who is then its mother?"
"Gareki-kun!" Yogi-Idiot called happily from the entrance and he started to run over the table hoping he had some more treats, "There you a—" Then he landed in the warm hands and Yogi-Idiot paused before smiling brightly, "Hey there, kitty. On a big adventure?" He purred gently, when he was carefully cuddled.
"That makes sense as well." But the humans' discussion was no more important in the room.
Thank you very much for reading this chapterette(?) as well. If someone followed my 'Mal is thinking' entries on Tumblr, they knew this was finished for like a week now? But hey, I finally came around to upload it.
Thank you so much for waiting!
Sincerely, Mal
