Chapter 3 – A Tainted Dragon

Shaking Ruka gulped as she felt a deep chill run down her spine to make her hair stand on edge. Using her free hand, she drew her seven cards and looked them over. 'Damn it!' She mentally screamed. 'I did NOT want to get involved with these damned duels!'

"You go first," The woman teased Ruka, who only gulped as both her and her opponent drew their cards. Holding five card in her hand with her duel disk she looked at her hand before she drew her first card.

'Damn it!' Ruka gritted her teeth as she mentally swore. 'I may not like this… but I won't lose!' She regained her focus as she put her first card into her hand and breathed out through the cracks in her teeth. As she took in her cards she heard the waves of the ocean crash into the sand. 'Not the best but….' She trailed off. 'Sunlight Unicorn, Synchro Monument, Horn of the Unicorn, Swords of Revealing Light, Sunny Pixie, Negate Attack.' She mentally repeated the cards in her mind. 'Shit, my best option would to get Fairy Dragon out!'

"You seem troubled," the silver haired woman teased with a bit of a crazed smiled with wide open eyes as she tilted her up and to the right slightly.

Ruka visibly flinched before she took a glance at one of her cards. 'Negate attack will help but it would be better if I can draw Evolutionary Duel'.

Taking only a second of two she took a single card from her hand and slipped it onto a monster field on her custom duel disk to summon, Sunlight Unicorn. "Next I play Horn of the Unicorn!" Ruka held out her right hand as she exclaimed her move. "And attach it to Sunlight unicorn!"

Right as she said that a new box appeared to show; Sunlight Unicorn {ATK: 2500, DEF: 1700}.

"Lastly I'll one card on the field and end my turn!" Ruka exclaimed with a trembling hand as she put Negate Attack in her magic/trap zone.

As she pulled back her shaking hand the wind picked up and started to blow both Ruka's and her opponent's hair away from the ocean.

"Ruka," a voice spoke next to Ruka. Not bothering to turn her head to her side Ruka returned a response.

"What is it Fairy Dragon?"

"That woman, something is off about her," Fairy Dragon noted as she observed the neon haired woman. "Be careful."

Ruka nodded and quietly responded, "Will do."

"Ruka," A new seductive female voice originated from her left. Startled Ruka turned to her left and nearly jumped in place at the sight. The woman who stood next to her was transparent. The woman stood just over five feet tall and had well rounded figure. The adult had a solid D cup breasts with a complimentary rear and hips. Her skin however drew Ruka's eyes for a minute as she noticed that she had a pale white skin coloring.

Ruka's eyes then was drawn to her face. Her black lips were a complete contrast to her slit ruby eyes. Her long black hair was torn wild as it traveled down her back to stop halfway past her rear. Yet her black hair was not the only thing that drew her eyes it was the black nails on her fingers that also stood out against her pale white like skin. The next thing to draw her attention was her black torn clothes. With her silver short sleeve shirt being torn to near shreds, it left just her black bra to cover her two good sized assets. Yet she did not have any shorts on but instead just had a thin and revealing black panties.

However, despite having a revealing appearance, it her body was covered with small open cuts. A few of these cuts was slowly bleeding without stopping nor was it pouring. Instead it was slowly trickling down her body taking minutes to reach a few inches away from the cuts.

Ruka's eyes widened at the sight of her blood Spirit, nearly shaking at her Spirit she slightly gasped as she starred at the fairy. 'She's a Duel Spirit?'

"That human," Torn Fairy crossed her arms. Tilting her eyes, she looked straight into Ruka's eyes. "She is not a human. She a Duel Spirit who took human form."

Ruka snapped her head back over to the woman who started to laugh. "That's right little fairy." She tilted her head and held out her arms. "Let me tell you. Getting this form was worth it!" She brought her hands back togather as the waves crashed over the beach soaking both Duelists' feet.

'That can't be…' Ruka mentally panicked.

"Ruka," Fairy Dragon spoke up. "We need to stop this spirit."

"Stop me?" The woman grabbed the three's attention. "Like hell I'll let you!" She held out her hand to point at them. "Being human is too much fun!" She pointed to herself.

Torn Fairy narrowed her eyes, 'Being human?' Rolling her eyes away from the humanoid Duel Spirit. "Ruka," She drew her attention. "Don't lose, to this corrupted Spirit."

"I draw!" The woman laughed. Taking a look at her new card she smiled. "While it is true that I am a Duel Spirit. I am not corrupted!"

Holding out the card in her hand she Held out her hand and exclaimed, "Due the fact I have no card on my side of the field I can special summon; I can Cyber Dragon!" She grinned as she threw down the monster onto the field. With that said a new white cybernetic Dragon rose out from a glowing white circle on the ground. "Next!" She called out. "I normal summon Proto-Cyber Dragon to the field. And thanks to its effect Its known as Cyber Dragon!" She laughed.

Holding out both of her arms she laughed, "But I'm not done!" Reaching into her hand she pulled a single card out of her hand much to Ruka's dismay. "I play Polymerization to fuse both of my Dragons to summon!"

She held out her free hand into the air as the two Dragon snaked into the air and bleed into light. With a crazed look, she starred at Ruka's who stood wide eyed.

"Fusion!" She stammered. "But nobody uses fusion!"

"But I do!" The Duel Spirit laughed. "Come forth! TWIN! CYBER! DRAGON!" As she announced the name Ruka watched in awe as a two head Cybernetic Dragon descended and let loose a screech. Ruka's opponent then lowered her hand to point at Sunlight Unicorn. "Now I'll attack you monster!" She Snapped her fingers as she let loose a grin that'd make a fox jealous.

Ruka covered her face in attempt to block the wind from the attack. However, it wasn't able to shield her face. Bits of sand and sea water brushed across her body. Lowering her arms, she saw that her field was once again cleared.

Red, pain, warm, stinging encased her right arm. Spreading her fingers out on her had a deep burning sensation could be felt in the core of her bones. Cuts countless cuts opened over her skin tearing any clothes on her right arm and hand. Blood, a realistic amount of blood leapt out of her cuts before they stopped and continued to drip out her cuts down to her finger. There the blood dripped of the tips of her fingers like a single water drop falling from a leaf on a tree.

'It stings like paper cuts!' Ruka mentally cried as she clenched her teeth. "Why?" She stammered. "What's the point of this!" She cried. "Why do you duel like this?"

The Duel Spirit laughed, "Because. I am in it for the adrenaline rush." She tilted her head. "Granted normally I hit other Blood Duelists." She straightened out her neck. "I digress; I end my turn."

Ruka let a single tear fall from her eye as she tried to ignore her pain in her right arm. With a shaking hand she drew a card. With her blood dripping onto the card she held it in her hand and looked over the card. She grimaced, 'Not what I needed. But if I can get Evolutionary Duel.' Pot of Greed, it might not be the card she wanted but…. Perhaps.

"I play pot of Greed!" Ruka announced as she used it. Without another word she drew two cards. Dreamsprite and Monster Reborn. Now she might be able to use these. 'No. I can use them, but I can't…' Her eyes snapped. "I play Swords of Revealing Light!"

"A classic trick," the Blood Duelist noted. 'Tricky little girl,' She thought as she watched the swords surround them. 'I was going to end this.'

"Next I summon Dreamspirit in Attack mode and End my turn!"

Without batting an eye, she drew a card and spoke up, "I end my turn. Now, she had four cards in her hand.

'That's it?' Ruka stood in shook, 'All she did was draw a card.' Shaking her head, she tried to ignore the pain that her arm was in and drew one more card. "My Draw!" Putting the card in her hand she grabbed three cards. "Fist I play the Field Spell Synchro Moment!" As she said those words, two metal and crystal floating Pillars appeared on either side of the field. "Next I summon the tuner Sunny Pixie and then I activate Monster Reborn from my hand!"

"With this I'll revive Sunlight Unicorn from my graveyard!" Ruka smirked. 'This pain,' Ruka couched herself. 'Is nothing! I will win this duel!' Whipping her right-hand blood sprayed out around her as she called out. "Now I'll use my Turner," she held out her hand as she spoke. "To tune Dreamspirit and Sunlight unicorn to summon, Ancient Fairy Dragon!"

The woman laughed out loud, "Perfect! She outstretched her arms as she spoke. "Finally I can get that adenine shot I thrive!"

"With that I end my turn," Ruka forcedly started as she winced in pain.

Looking around the neon blue haired duelist laughed and just drew one more card. "Looks like your stalling is done with now." Ruka gritted her teeth in frustration. "I activate Mythical Space Typhoon to destroy your Swords of Revealing Light!"

Fear crept over Ruka's face as she watched the swords shatter into countless shards of light. "With this I can now attack you!" The neon haired woman snapped her fingers. After she snapped her fingers her monster released a torrent of white right at Ruka.

Ruka held a determined look as she called out, "I activate my trap card! Negate Attack!" She held out her hand as she felt a few wet tears travel down her cheeks. Right then as the white beam attack that came from Twin Cyber Dragon. A red Ring appeared in front of Ruka and her side of the field. It spun as a white vortex appeared in the circle to drain the attack into nothing. "With that Your attack is stopped." Ruka heavily panted.

The blue-eyed woman shook her head ever so lightly and started to laugh. "Nice try little girl. But my fused form can attack twice per turn!" She laughed much to Ruka's shock. "However..." She trailed off. "I'll be nice and end my turn."

'But she could have….' Ruka trailed off. 'Left me near death….' She thought. "Damn. This stings," Ruka hissed as she drew another card in her bloody hand.

The neon haired women starred at Ruka only to shift back in forth between her and Fairy Dragon. 'Somethings off here.' She thought, 'Why does she look so familiar? I know I have seen her before.' Her eyes snapped open as she gazed right at Fairy Dragon. 'FUCK!' She mentally shouted. 'I got to draw that card or he'll kill me!'

"I place down card face down and put Ancient Fairy Dragon into Defense position," Ruka announced and snapped the woman's attention back to her prey.

The woman sighed as she drew her new card, "My draw." She sighed, 'Looks like I cannot help you…' Putting the card into her hand she grabbed another. "I play De-fusion to separate my Twin Cyber Dragon back into Cyber Dragon and Proto-Cyber Dragon."

'Why would she defuse her dragon?' Ruka wondered.

"Too bad but this is the end," The woman sighed. "For you." She paused and watched Ruka flinch. "For I use the magic card Power Bond! With this I'll fuse my Cyberdragon on my field, Proto-Cyber Dragon and my Cyberdragon from my hand! To create. My Strongest form! Cyber End Dragon!" The Duel Spirit yelled without stretched arms. As she announced her move the beast generated out of the light sphere that all three cards fused into. Within minutes it reformed into the white three headed cybernetic dragon. "When I summon a cyber monster through Powerbond, the monster that is summoned has its attack doubled!"

Ruka took a step backwards to see the attack of the dragon hit 8000.

"Now I'll attack your Fairy Dragon!" The neon haired woman declared. "And with its effect, my form deals piercing damage to my opponent when fighting a monster in defense mode!"

"What!" Ruka screaked as she watched the dragon let loose a stream of white. The white hyper beam torn through Ancient Fairy Dragon making her break apart into particles. Ruka snapped her head back and coughed up blood as her life points started to drain down to zero. With each drop-in life points her bones made a hearable snap that echoed over the waters. Her skin torn as cuts appeared over her body makes blood jump out of the endless cuts. Her ankles shattered making her fall into the blood-stained sand.

"I'm sorry," The Duel spirit closed her eyes. As she did that she turned around as the rest of the duel field evaporated along with Cyber End Dragon. "Ruka." She whispered the name. She took one step to the stairs on the beach before she froze as a chill ran down her spine. She eyes snapped opened and shook. She turned her head slowly around to see Ruka's shattered body move.

Teal, mixed with crimson and black. Two wings torn out of her back's spine. The Black and crimson red glowed a teal blue hue under the light. The wings were made of what looked like blood veins with blood pumping through them. The veins weaved togather to form a four-part wing. Each part was an elongated half crescent moon that layer over one another. This left Ruka with a total of eight wings where two sets of four acting as a sing wing.

Her long teal hair had shifted to reach down to her rear and shifted in colors. Her hair was now a midnight black with long teal highlight strands that ran down. Her body morphed slightly so her she had two triple d breasts with hips and a rear to match. Ruka opened her eyes and sent goose bumps down her back. Hazelnut mixed with the deepest crimson that colored streaks that came out of her black pupils to reach the ends of her iris.

Her skin turned to a near white complexation. And her nails on her hands turned black. She titled her head and spoke, "What do you know."

'That Voice!' The Spirit thought. "So, you are also in her body as well as his." She hissed as she lost all fear. "First you try to take his body and now hers!" She raised her voice.

Ruka cracked her neck and felt her bones a line yet remains separate. "So, it's you. I should thank you now I can finally be…"

"Fuck Off." The duel spirit hissed.

She took a step backwards. "Why you!" The possessed Ruka hissed as she gritted her teeth.

"I sealed you back up," She hissed. "AND I'll dodo IT AGAIN!" She yelled out the top of her lungs. Blue electricity shark and snapped around the cyber Duel Spirit. "I will NOT let you take my lovers body. AND I certainly will not let you take over Ruka's EITHER!" She roared.

'Ruka' whipped her arm out and laughed, "You killed her."

"She's alive." The cold words struck.

The 'Ruka's eyes widened. "What?" She whispered.

"Ruka's body should be completely human," The Duel spirit explained. "That body you control is fusion of a human being and a Duel Spirit."

"And you know that how?"

"I know and seen human and Duel Spirit fusions," the cyber duel spirit admitted. "As well as a human Duel Spirit hybrid."

"W-wh what?" 'Ruka' stuttered. "Then she's gonna…..." 'Ruka' trailed off. She suddenly smirked. "Blood Duel, Level three." Right as she said those words the duel spirit froze but snapped. Ruka's body started to heal. All her bones recovered and healed while her skin sowed back up as if she was never left near death's door.

"Ruka, Torn Fairy," She spoke up. "Wake up." Pressure fell over Ruka as the Cyber Duel spirit unleashed killer instinct.

Ruka chocked as she tone changed. Looking back up at the one who just killed her. "What?"

"Sorry but," The neon colored woman sighed. "The person who possessed you force us into another one."

'Wait a minute! Another fucking one of these duels!' Ruka hissed mentally.

"I wish I recognized you sooner. Otherwise I would have never have dueled you, Ruka."

'Wait,' Ruka thought. 'How the fuck does she know me!?'

Well this took awhile to write. Mostly because I focused on fusions & Anthro's and Guardians of the Mantle. As well as lack of motivation to write this. But I got bit with the Yu Hi Oh bug.

So, this chapter ended up differently than I originally planned for when I started this series. But the more I concepted out the series the more it changed to this chapter. Also, I even changed things slightly from my outline of this chapter.

Now the next chapter outline isn't even done yet but I already know what I am going to do.

Lastly, I reopened the poll for the next arch. It'll be a separate story but still have the Blood Duels name. Lastly you all cannot decide on what you want in the poll. Last I checked it was a four-way tie.

Ok, I hope you liked it and please leave a review with your thoughts. Flames are not accepted.
