Castle follows her out feeling as if there is nothing else he can possibly do but go to her. Like it's his job, obligation. When he finds her she is standing outside leaning on one of the ledges, looking to be in deep thought. He wants to know her thoughts, he wants to know what went so wrong with them. Why they're so sour now.

"Hey"

His voice brings her out of her thoughts, she expected him to follow her, she's still surprised that he's willing to still chase her.

"Hey" Her voice is low like his.

"Do you mind telling me what that was back there?"

Kate turns around then, not wanting him to see her face. She rolls her eyes annoyed with the hint of burning her tears are forming over her eyes.

"It was nothing Castle, can we just forget about it."

"No"

She's shocked at how stern his voice is, no negotiation what-so-ever.

"-No Kate, I'm sick of forgetting about it. I want to know what's going on with you, what's" He lets out a frustrated puff of air out, scraping his nails through his hair.

"What's going on between us Kate." His voice is quiet at the last line, like it's hurting him just to say it.

He sees her fiddling with her thumbs nervously. She's struggling, he can tell with her body language. Castle comes up behind her before he rethinks anything his arms are around her waist in a comforting hold. He feels her tense.

"Cas!"

Kate nearly jumps out of her skin at the proximity between them. She lets him hold her though because she misses him, misses his touch. Kate leans into his front with her back lets her head tilt into his, closes her eyes savoring the moment.

"Please talk to me, Kate." His breath on her neck sends shivers down her spine, and arousal in her belly.

"Rick" Her voice is a plea. For what neither of them know.

Castle takes a chance, bringing his lips to finally make contact with her skin, the skin he hasn't touched in oh so long, the skin he has missed so much. The sensation from the softness of her neck on his lips sends a tingle down his body, his tongue comes out to taste the sweet salt of her skin. It hits his taste buds like a blessing. The contact doesn't last long though. She's already out of his embrace completely out of eye site as she has already made it inside.

Kate couldn't take the feel of him on her like that, she would lose it. Break down right there. She has missed all of him for so long, she's beginning to think this trip was an even bigger mistake then before they even got here.

She makes it to the room, but once the door shuts she leans up against the wall letting the fat tears tumble down her face. She doesn't want him to see her like this so she push's herself to the bathroom, puts the shower on (cold).

Castle doesn't understand what's happened, what he's done to disserve this. He can't even touch his fiancé? He had to of done something, something bad. Had to of.

'Think! Think! THINK!' He hits his head trying to up and pop something out of his brain. Something in that past that could have made his touch like a burn to her. His love like an evil to her. His mind comes up blank. There is nothing.

This angers him, as he makes his way up to their room. He doesn't know what's going to happen once he's closed the door behind him but he's going to make sure he gets some answers. He's not losing his fiancé to what ever this is. No, he will make her talk.
