After Keiko move the icon toward the trashcan icon to get rid of it then put her phone back into her pocket, both she and Aika make their way past the people walking in Shibuya toward the subway station, went down and take the train to Yongen-Jaya.
After a few minutes, the train arrived in Yongen-Jaya, stopped and opened it's doors and both Keiko and Aika stepped out of the train, walked out of the station and make their way into the Yongen-Jaya area (which is quite a small yet safe area that had some shops, clinic, laundromat, supermarket, old cinema building, bathhouse, Café Leblanc, gym building and a single two-storey house) while looking around the place for the house where the man named Sojiro Sakura lived until they found it and stand in front of it.
"So this house is where he lived, huh, Keiko? It's not a bad-looking house, at least." said Aika with a small nod of her head at the house.
"Yeah, exactly like you said, Aika. Because the 2 words on the nameplate on the wall over there confirms it." said Keiko as she glance at the nameplate with the words "Sakura Residence" on it before she pressed the doorbell next to the door and both she and Aika waited for Sojiro to open the door but he didn't. "Hello? Is anybody home?" Keiko called out to Sojiro and didn't received any answers.
"Hello, Sojiro-san?" Aika called out and didn't received any answers as well. "That's weird. He's not answering or opening the door for us, Keiko." said Aika with a frown look on her face.
"Maybe he's not home?" said Keiko.
"You're right. He's not home at this time, young lady." said a male voice suddenly to both Keiko and Aika, who turned and saw a mailman holding a cardboard box under his left arm and standing next to a truck.
"Then where is he if he's not home like you just said, sir?" asked Keiko.
"He's most probably at the café named Leblanc not far from here, young lady. Why don't you and your go to the café now." replied the mailman.
"So he's at Café Leblanc, huh? We did see and pass by a café while finding where his house is." thought Aika curiously to herself.
"I see. Thanks for telling us about where he is, sir." said Keiko thankfully to the mailman (who smiled and nodded to her) before she and Aika turned and walked away from the house, went to where the café is before Keiko opened the door, heard the sound of the bell chiming softly above them as she and Aika entered the café, closed the door behind them before they look at the interior of the café and saw 2 elderly people sitting in the booth and drinking their cups of coffee while a slightly tan-skinned, brown-eyed spectacled, short slicked back black-haired and black goatee middle-aged man wearing a long sleeve, button-up pink shirt, long dark brown pants and white shoes on his feet and a black and white stripe apron over his clothes as he sat on one of the stool and reading a newspaper while the TV's on the wall behind him.
"-a public transit bus was driven down an opposing lane with it's passengers still in it! The citizens can't live in peace if accidents like this keeps on." said the male TV reporter grimly from the TV.
"How frightening." said the elderly man with a somber look on his face about the bus accident news.
"What could be going on? Didn't something similar happened just the other day?" said the elderly woman as she glance at her husband.
"Hmmm, Vertical is… the name of a shellfish used for farming pearls…" said the middle-aged man as he kept on looking at the newspaper before he noticed, widened his eyes in surprise then recognition at both Keiko and Aika. "Ah, that's right. They did say it was today." said the middle-aged man as he set the newspaper down on the table then hopped off the stool.
"We'll be going now. Payments on the table." said the elderly man to the middle-aged man as he and his elderly wife stood up from the booth and hand over a few yen bills to him.
"Thanks for coming." said the middle-aged man as he took the yen bills from the elderly man.
"Luckily this place is in the back alley so there's no worries of any vehicles came barrelling through it." said the elderly man thankfully to the middle-aged man.
"A what now?" said the middle-aged man in confusion to the elderly man.
"Haven't you just heard from the TV? There's been a string of those rampant accidents, you know. I just hope that none of them happens around here." said the elderly man concernly to the middle-aged man.
"Is that so? Well, it's none of my concern." said the middle-aged man as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Haha, well, we'll be leaving then." chuckled the elderly man before he and his wife turned and walked toward the door and both Keiko and Aika stepped aside to let them walked past and left Leblanc before they glance back at the middle-aged man.
"… Four hours for just a single cup of joe." sighed the middle-aged man before he glance at both Keiko and Aika. "So, you two are the girls that they told me would come today, huh?" said the middle-aged man.
"That's right, we are. I'm Keiko Amamiya and this is my cousin, Aika Saito." said Keiko as she nodded and introduced herself and Aika politely to him.
"Hello and nice to meet you. We're in your care, sir." greeted Aika politely to him as well.
"Uh huh. I'm Sojiro Sakura and the 2 of you will be in my custody until the next year. I was wondering what kind of unruly girls would show up. But you two are the ones, huh?" said the middle-aged man named Sojiro Sakura to them.
"Yeah, that's right." said Keiko as she nodded to Sojiro.
"Haven't you two been told. Both of your parents and I know each other, so-" said Sojiro before he fell silent. "Well, not that it matters… Come with me, both of you." added Sojiro before he fell silent again, turned and gestured for both Keiko and Aika to follow him and they did. They follow Sojiro up the stairs and entered a huge, cluttered and dusty-looking attic room.
"This is the room where you two will be staying in. I'll at least give you some sheets for your bed and a spare futon and pillow for your cousin." said Sojiro as he glance at both Keiko and Aika and noticed the looks on their faces. "Hm? You two look like you wanna say something." added Sojiro.
"Well… it's big." said Keiko.
"And very dusty and cluttered." thought Aika sarcastically in her mind.
"It's on you two to clean up the rest. I'll be leaving after I locked up each day. You two will be alone at night, but don't do anything stupid. I'll have no choice but to throw you out two if you two cause any trouble." aid Sojiro warningly to both Keiko and Aika.
"Of course we won't." said Keiko.
"Yeah, what she said, Sojiro-san." said Aika.
"Now then… I got the gist of both of your situations. The two of you were on your way back from tuition when a man suddenly stumbled upon you two before he grab and try to forced himself on your cousin and you protected your cousin by pushing him away, got him injured and he sued you two for it, right?" said Sojiro.
"…Yeah, you're right." said Aika.
"That's what you get for being a nosy hero and put yourself and your cousin in trouble. You did injured him, yeah? …And now that you two got criminal records, you two were expelled from your other high school. The courts order you two to transfer and move out here, which both your parents also approved. In other words, they got rid of you two for being a nosy pain in the asses. Its best you and Keiko, to not talk about anything unnecessary because I am in the restaurant business, you know. You two behave yourselves for the year. If nothing happens, both of your probations will be lifted." said Sojiro.
"Yeah, we know, Sojiro." said Keiko as she nodded to Sojiro.
"That's just how the law systems work nowadays. Botj of your sentence lasts until next Spring, right? That's why you two are gonna be here for the coming year. Cause any problems, and you two will be sent straight to juvie. Also we'll be going to Shujin tomorrow." said Sojiro.
"Shujin?" said both Keiko and Aika in confusion to Sojiro.
"Shujin Academy – the school that you two girls will be attending. We'll introduce ourselves properly to the staff there. There's rarely places to accept people like you two, you know. What a waste of my Sunday…" grumbled Sojiro before he glance over his left shoulder at the two, huge cardboard boxes on the floor behind him.
"Both of your "luggages" arrived earlier; I left them over there." said Sojiro before he walked past them down to the first floor.
Soon after Sojiro left, both Keiko and Aika then put their luggages aside, went downstairs to ask for cleaning supplies from Sojiro and he gave the cleaning supplies to them before they went back up and spend the next few hours cleaning up their new room.
