All right manage to get the chapter finished and once again, thank you so much for the support you have given to the story, over a hundred likes and it feels great to know that you guys are enjoying the story and helping me out with the review so that the story can become the best it can be and it amazes me when I see comments that help with the story or say something good about the story. This chapter will be longest so far so forgive me on the length but the chapter will be setting up some future events down the line that will have major impact on the story and while I know some don't like set up chapters like this, it was a choice I decided to make as I was coming up with the structure for the next few chapters. Also seeing the Launch Trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 motivated me to finish the chapter and its right up there with my favorite trailers for fighting games. Quickly I would like to thank you guys foremost for the support but also I would like to thank ulttoanova for the 'GET OVER HERE' from last chapter, megakdre100 and Megatronus Uchiha on helping with perspective of the story, and Shadow Joestar. Lastly, these chapters do take some time to write as I do want them to be their best and since I want the connections I make between the two world to make sense as I go over information so forgive me if there isn't a new chapter uploaded next week since I am writing this story in between several of my college essays and projects, end of semester are so fun, but I won't abandon the story that easily. Anyways I've been rambling long enough and possibly someone skipped over all so enough about this let's get down to business.

I do not own any of the following characters, moves, or names. My Hero Academia and Mortal Kombat are all own by their creators and those who hold the license, please go support the official release.

Chapter 4: Test Your Might

Some months have passed since Midoriya received his letter of acceptance into U.A. The green haired teen was now fifteen and the first day of school finally came and would be met with what most parents would, seeing if they have everything ready. Midoriya, now wearing the U.A uniform which consisted of a gray jacket, a white shirt underneath with a red tie around his neck, black slacks and wearing his favorite red shoes as he was preparing to leave his home with his mom right behind him.

"Do you have tissues?" Midoras mom asked

"Yes mom I do"

"Are you sure you have everything that you need?" Midoriya's mother said as she was seeing her only son picking up his yellow backpack and about to leave the door

"Yes mom I have everything, I need to get going, don't want to be late for the first day" Midoriya said as he had a small frustration about telling his mother that he had everything with him, like many teens would do. As he opening the door, his mom called out his name.

"And Izuku" his mom said as he stopped and asked

"Yes mom?" to which he was met with a smile from his mom

"I'm proud of you, after everything, you never gave up on your dream, even after I did. But look at you now, going into U.A" Midoriya couldn't help but let out a smile as he saw the pure pride in his mother's face to which he gave her one last hug before leaving.

"Thank you mom and I will give it my best to become a hero and make our clans proud" Midoriya said waving back to his mom as he walked out of his home with his mom waving back at him with the same smile and some tears in her eyes.

"I know you will Izuku"

After a few minutes of walking towards the station, Hanzo would begin to talk with his descendant/student.

"How does it feel, finally showing that you could make it?" He said as Midoriya caught presence of his master.

"It still feels surreal, after years of being told to give it up, I still held on and manage to finally achieve it. It feels like a dream where it'll all be gone once I wake up." Midoriya said as he continued walking towards the station with Liang coming up on the conversation soon afterwards

"Well it ain't a dream Midoriya, the clothes on you are evidence enough that you could achieve it" Liang said as Midoriya took a glance down towards himself, not even trying to hold back a small smile from forming.

Finally arriving at the station and getting on the train, not surprising Midoriya that it was filled with people of different ages and occupations as everyone needed to get used his time to look at any hero news that were happening at the moment with noteworthy news being that Kamui Woods stopped a robbery.

After refreshing the site for the fifth time, Midoriya decided to give up and try to fill his time with something else, which got him thinking about his clans and if the world knew about them or their purpose. Midoriya was not surprise to see that there wasn't much information over the Lin Kuei or the Shirai Ryu other than conspiracy theories about the clans such as them still being around or how they are running the government from the shadows. Releasing a small chuckle at the bizarre theories Midoriya decided to close the tab and talk with his masters about it.

"Seems like the presence of the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu manage to remain hidden very well" Midoriya said to which Liang would respond

"A clan of assassins can't operate if people knew of their existence and location, Midoriya, good thing that when the clans dissolved, the name or emblem of our clans were not known, even from the few members that were captured" Liang said to which Midoriya decided to ask a question.

"I understand the secrecy of the clans but wouldn't you want the clans to reform again, but as a clan of heroes rather than ninja assassins?" To which Hanzo would respond to Midoriya's question

"As much as me and Liang want the clans to be restored, we also know that the world has changed and if word did get out of two clans with train warriors assassins, people could make connections to those early investigations" To which Midoriya gave a simple respond, understanding the logic to some extent.

"Understood" To which it would be followed by Liang giving a response.

"And Midoriya the Lin Kuei are warriors, not just ninjas, the Shirai Ryu warriors are primarily ninjas." Finished Liang with got a confused look from Midoriya, to which Hanzo would answer.

"Back when we were alive, me and Liang's uniforms would were similar to ninja garbs and many of the opponents we fought would just call Kuai Liang and the Lin Kuei ninjas, so he correct anyone who says that the Lin Kuei are ninjas" Hanzo finished which got a dumbfounded look from Midoriya that one of his masters had a pet peeve on the clan being called ninjas but he decided not to question it as he didn't want to face the wrath of Liang in this issue.

The rest of the ride was in silence and once he arrived at his stop Midoriya wondered on something that he wanted to mention to his masters but had a gut feeling that was telling him not to ask the question until another time. As the train got to Midoriya's stop, he couldn't help but think back to two theories on the site that caught his interest, with the site saying it was two events that changed both clans forever, they were labeled as the 'Lin Kuei Cyber Initiative' and 'The Extermination of the Shirai Ryu'

Front of U.A

As Midoriya was standing once again at the massive building and gate, he still couldn't get use to the sight of the school, more so now that he will be entering the school as not just a test examiner but as a student of 1-A from the hero course. Liang decided to get Midoriya out of his thinking as Midoriya was not moving

"Midoriya, I believe you have admired the view enough already, you still need to get to class" to which it got out Midoriya out of his thought and would respond to the Cryomancer.

"Right, right, just still amaze by the school is all" Midoriya said as he walked towards the school, avoiding the small bump from last time and continuing to walk forward. He suddenly realized something that he didn't think as he was getting there.

"Uhhh... where exactly do I go?" Midoriya said as he glance at his phone for the time and saw that he only had a few minutes before the first bell for class started. After a few seconds of almost panicking at his predicament, Hanzo decided to help his student out before Midoriya completely shut down.

"I believe one of those doors over there with the number one is where you should be going" Midoriya was wondering at what he meant until he saw three doors with the numbers one, two, and three in gold over the doors. To which it made Midoriya feel like an idiot for not noticing them but decided to put that blow to his confidence aside as he was now running late for his first day as he ran towards the door with a 1, opening it and running down the hall.

As Midoriya was running to find the correct class, a massive door was coming into view, he saw the door being black in color with the number one on it in red.

"Seems like they need to accommodate for any type of quirk that shows" Midoriya said as he proceeded to approach the door and hear noise coming from inside which sounded oddly familiar to the green hair teen.

"Don't put your feet on the table!" Said the same tall teen that scolded Midoriya during the explanation of the practical exam.

"Why should I not exactly" the spiky ash blonde Bakugo said as the tall teen was now doing weird robot hand motions as Midoriya continued to see the scene unfold. To which his two masters would voice their opinion.

"Got to hand it to the kid with glasses, he sure does have discipline" said Liang

"Very much so, although I don't think even Takeda was that disciplined" Hanzo said thinking back to the training days of the kid that was under his care.

Midoriya was just listening to both masters and the two teens talk until the tall teen notice Midoriya.

"You!" The tall teen said as he walked towards Midoriya and proceeded to give a bow to which surprise Midoriya. Leaving Bakugo behind, Bakugo could only observe as Midoriya manage to get accepted into U.A despite his quirkless nature

'How the hell did Deku get accepted if he's quirkless' Bakugo said as he knew damn well that Midoriya did not have a quirk, that he knew of at least.

"I have underestimated you, you are truly superior than me." To which brought some confusion to Midoriya since he did not have much of a clue of what the tall teen was talking about.

"You knew of a secret component to the exam that not even I knew of and took the risk in saving that girl even when everyone else, including me avoided the Zero Pointer, that is why you went to save the girl correct?" The tall teen finished his explanation and looking at Midoriya with a look of expectancy before Midoriya jumped back and waved both hand in front.

"W-What, no,no,no, I just helped her because she seemed like she needed help and I went ahead and helped" to which it seemed to surprise the tall teen as he was expecting a different answer from the green haired teen.

"Well, regardless of intention I do believe that an apology was needed, my name is Tenya Iida" the tall ten said extending a hand out to Midoriya, which he took and shook

"Izuku Midoriya" Then out of nowhere like a sun that peeks out of the blinds in the early morning, a very cheerful voice was heard from behind Midoriya.

"Hey it's you, the Fire and Ice guy" to which Midoriya turned around and saw the brown haired girl in the same school uniform as him, to which he began to notice how cute she look, to which Midoriya's face was beginning to grow a shade of red.

'Holy crap she's even cuter now' Midoriya though as he heard signs from both of his masters, almost imagining them face palming that the training to build Midoriya's confidence went out the window again.

"It was so cool how you manage to take down the Zero Pointer, you went all 'Few' and 'Wham' and when you said 'GET OVER HERE' when you destroy the Zero Pointer was just awesome" said the girl as she was doing the hand motion of when Midoriya used his Spear. That small description did manage to get the attention of those in the class in hearing that someone took down the Zero Pointer bot but would lose interest quickly when they saw the plain green haired teen as they figured it must of been someone else that they were talking about.

However this piece of information did get the attention of a teen with bicolor hair that had white hair in his right side and red on his left, his two eyes also being bicolor with one being gray and the other blue with a noticeable scar over the his left eye. Upon hearing someone else with similar quirks as his did intrigued the bicolor teen. He would look up from his desk towards the green haired teen that the girl claim to have both Ice and Fire and began to ask himself.

'This should be interesting' the bicolored teen said as he looked back down on his desk.

This also caught the attention of a girl who had short purple hair with earphone jacks as earlobes and having a look of disinterest at the commotion of the brown haired girl. As she looked up to from her desk to see what was going on, she saw him, she felt as if things just froze for a moment in time as she saw the guy who saved her many months ago from that group of men, the only one who seemed to have shown up when she needed help, the one she hoped to find at U.A.

'H-he, he's here' the girl thought as she continued to stare at the teen for a while longer as she took in the detail of the teen from his curly green hair, to his freckles that looked symmetrical in how they are in both sides of his face and how he would be looking nervous when compared to that other night.

'What an odd boy indeed' she thought before she quickly realize that she's been staring for too long and quickly put her head down so that her creeping blush as not seen by anyone, especially the green haired teen that had saved her.

Noticing she hasn't introduced herself she proceeded to give a small bow before continuing.

"Sorry for not introducing myself, My name is Ochako Uraraka" she said as she extended her right hand to which Midoriya grabbed and noticed small pads on the tips of her fingers and that she was raising her pinkie when they were shaking hands.

"My name..." Midoriya was about to say before a sound coming from behind the girl in a bored almost monotone tone began to talk.

"If you are here to make friends, then you better leave now" said the bored voice as Midoriya finally took notice of what he could describe as a yellow caterpillar with a very unkempt looking man with a bored expression inside of the sleeping bag. Iida and Uraraka notice Midoriya's change in expression as they would follow where he was looking and notice the yellow caterpillar man.

"This is the hero course" the caterpillar man said in the same bored tone as he pulled out a juice box and proceed to drink it. To which all three teens had the same thought.

'A-are you serious' they thought in unison. Before the older man got out of the yellow sleeping back and folding it up neatly as he entered the class, Midoriya got a good view of the man, as the man wore baggy black clothes with a gray scarf around his neck, black boots, unkempt hair, and a utility belt around his waist. As he put the sleeping bag under his arm, he began talking which got the attention of the class.

"It took you all eight seconds to silence, please be considerate next time" the man said as Midoriya could just stare at the older man as if wondering what was he was doing. To which he got his answer shortly there after.

"I am Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher"

"EEEEEEH!?" Was Midoriya's and most of the class response at this revelation. Before any of them could continue analyzing this new information, Aizawa pulled out a blue gym uniform from the sleeping bag and address to the class.

"Put these on and meet me outside in five minutes" then he walked away, leaving Midoriya and the rest of the class to do what he said.

5 Minutes Later

(Outside in the U.A Field)

Everyone from 1-A has now switched into the blue gym uniform, which has white streaks on the front that form the letter U on the top half of the uniform and the what looked like A from the abdominal down to the pant legs with a white area with red outlines by the sleeves, and were standing in the schools field with look of shock as Aizawa finished his explanation for why they were outside.

"A QUIRK APPREHENSION TEST?!" Class 1-A yelled out that the first thing they would be doing was a test. To which Uraraka would be the first to break the silence.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" Ochaco asked to which Aizawa would answer.

"If you are planning on become a hero, you don't have the time for such leisurely events. U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. It also applies to how the teachers can run their classes." Aizawa said as he looked at the faces of the still shocked teens as he decided to add more to his explanation.

"You kids have been doing physical tests like this since junior high, right? The physical fitness tests where you were not allowed the usage of your quirks. The country uses the averages from the test results of students not using their Quirks, putting everyone together as if they were all on the same leveled field. It is not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating." Aizawa finished which help clarify his reasoning for why he would do the quirk test but that did not mean that everyone was not shocked. Midoriya did not know what to say to this until Liang decided to come up with a conclusion to this.

"That man, he wants to see where you all stand when using your quirks" Liang said to which Hanzo would add as well

"It's a good method to see where you kids quirks stand before everyone else and how you may be able to improve upon them" to which Midoriya could see the understanding for why Aizawa was making them take a quirk test right off the bat. Not long after this Aizawa turned his head towards Midoriya, to which Midoriya would be trying his damndest to not shake now that he was in the line of sight of the teacher.

"Midoriya, you finished at the top of the practical portion of the exam, right? Scoring about 160 points, and single handedly destroying the Zero Pointer as everyone else ran away. Pretty impressive to say the least." Aizawa revealed as the rest of the class looked at Midoriya with surprised as not only was the information from earlier about the Zero Pointer turned out to be true, but that he managed to score within some of the highest scores in U.A's history. Soon after the revelation of this new information, some whispers could be heard from the group of teens.

"He took down the Zero Pointer?!"

"If that's his score, then it is among the best in U.A's history"

"If he manage to score that high and take down the Zero Pointer, how strong is he?"

"Still not as fabulous as mua"

This manage to raise suspicion from Bakugo as he crossed his arms and raise an eye as he was observing Midoriya, he knew that Midoriya was the same quirkless loser that he knew since childhood and hearing that not only did he score the highest among the year but also took out the Zero Pointer.

"A load of bullshit, that is for certain. There is no way Deku was able to do all of that without a quirk" Bakugo said to which Uraraka would overhear this.

"What do you mean, from what I saw he did have a quirks as he threw fire balls at the Zero Pointer before cutting it in half" Uraraka said as Bakugo just thought that she was just imagining the story seeing how he was the one there who knew Midoriya the most.

Midoriya, now being looked at by twenty different pair of eyes, was shaking very subtly at the sudden attention he was receiving. Despite having work on his confidence so that he would be efficiency during combat, he still was not used to being the center of attention.

"There is not reason to be embarrassed at what you needed to do Midoriya" Hanzo said to which Liang would also add on to motivate Midoriya.

"Had you not finished of the Zero Pointer, it would have injured anyone else that was in its view" Liang said as Midoriya was regaining his composure at the attention of his classmates. Soon after Midoriya would be called by Aizawa.

"Midoriya step to the plate" To which Midoriya would comply and made his way towards the plate.

"Midoriya, how far could you throw a ball without your quirk before in Junior high?" Aizawa asked.

"A-about 43 meters" Midoriya said as Aizawa pulled out a phone looking device from his pocket and a tennis ball looking object from a basket of other balls.

"Ok here, try throwing this but with your quirk this time, you may choose how you may throw the ball as long as you stay within the circle" Aizawa said as he handed the ball as Midoriya stepped inside the circle that had the plate and dirt inside. Once inside Midoriya began thinking on how to throw the ball that will give him the best distance.

'Ok I just have to use my quirk but most of my techniques are for close combat, and if I used Ice Ball or Flame Ball it will probably shatter or burn the ball up, and I can't use Flame-Port either since I have to remain within the circle, I could try making a bat out of Ice but I would need to know how to make it and even then how far would the ball make it if I use that method I would have to take into account the...' Midoriya would continue to ramble on to which the whole class just stared in awkwardness at how fast he was muttering, to which Aizawa decided to get Midoriya out of his muttering.

"Kid, we don't have all day, throw the ball and then we can continue" he said in the same bored and tired voice, to which it got Midoriya to stop before finally deciding on what to use to throw the ball...or much rather take the ball. Midoriya, having the ball in his left hand began to summon a small portion of HellFire as embers then flames surround his right arm before saying his command as he raised he right arm up.

"Arise!" Midoriya said as he raised his right arm and suddenly the ground in front of him split open a little with flames around the crack and out came Mark the HellSpawn but not coming out completely, only having his upper body show up. To say that the class of 1-A was surprise at the sudden appearance of the HellSpawn would be an understatement, many like a bird headed teen were amazed at Midoriya being able to summon such a creature, while others like a short teen with purple balls for hair were in fear about the sudden appearance of what was a demon from Hell, even Aizawa was surprise at this since he did not see Midoriya use this ability during the Practical Portion of the exam. However the sounds of small explosions followed by a yell from Bakugo that Midoriya could tell was filled with unrelenting and unrestrained rage that would make even the demons of Hell fearful.

"DDDEEEEEKKKKUUU!" said Bakugo as he was beginning to make his way towards where Midoriya was, looking like he wanted to rip Midoriya's head off, Midoriya began to take his defensive position by putting his right palm above his left palm close to his chest, spreading his feet slightly apart to where his left foot was in front straight ahead and left foot was back, facing away from Bakugo(Sub-Zero's fighting stance) as he was preparing for what he expected to be a barrage of explosions with his name on them.

"YOU BETTER EXPLAIN WHEN AND HOW THE HELL YOU GOT A QUICK YOU PIECE OF..." and then he stopped dead in his tracks which confused both Bakugo and Midoriya himself. Letting down his stance Midoriya had a puzzled looked on his face, wondering what just happened.

"If you are going to cause trouble, then be prepared to leave now" said Aizawa as Midoriya and Bakugo would turn their head to where he was and noticed that Aizawa hair was standing up, the gray scarf he had around his neck was also standing upwards and unraveling with two of the ends wrapped around Bakugo who was currently struggling, and a noticeable characteristic of Aizawa was that his eyes were glowing red. Midoriya also took notice that a pair of yellow like goggles that looked like they would cover the eyes completely, to which Midoriya's face went to one of surprise as he began to make the connections.

"Wait, yellow goggles, capturing type gear, quirk of individual stops working, you must be the Eraser Hero: Eraserhead" Midoriya said trying to contain his excitement at the underground hero who he read liked working at night since he preferred to avoid the media since it would hinder his work. Which again also got whispers from his classmates about their home room teacher.

"Eraserhead? Not a hero I heard off"

"I think he is an underground hero?"

"So he's a nocturnal hero?"

Aizawa, deciding to continue with what he had in plan for the class since there's twenty students that needed to do the same activity in eight different courses and looking forward to having some sleep after this, let go of Bakugo.

"Bakugo, try to do something like that again and I will have you expelled for that" to which Bakugo had to agree with reluctantly as he trudge back to the group as Midoriya let out a sign of relief at the close call.

"Try not to make me overuse my quirk, I prefer not to get some dry eyes" Aizawa finished as he put some eyedrops. After that small interruption, Midoriya putting his attention to the just summoned Mark and knelt down with the ball in his right hand and began talking to Mark, to which the class put they undivided attention to what Midoriya was saying to the HellSpawn.

"Mark, I want you to take this ball and put it about 1200 meters that way" Midoriya said pointing straight forward in the massive field. To which Mark was not responding, just looking at Midoriya, to which Midoriya knew what it meant so he continued talking.

"Alright Mark, I'll give you Katsudon when I get home later ok, promise" Midoriya said as he raised his right hand up to show that he is keeping his promise, to which it got a response from Mark as he extended his arm towards Midoriya, to which the green haired teen put the ball on Marks open palm, which would be followed by Mark sinking back to the ground, no crack being left behind almost as if nothing has ever happened.

A few seconds were passing, Midoriya was now up from his crouching position and looking towards the field as the class, including Aizawa, was wondering where the HellSpawn was, until he appeared again but further down the field before putting the ball down on the ground before looking at Midoriya, to which Midoriya would wave at it.

"Thanks Mark, you'll get your Katsudon, I promise!" Midoriya yelled to which the HellSpawn responded with a thumbs up before sinking back to the flames cracked ground, disappearing from sight along with any evidence of a crack ever being on the field. Hearing a beep from his phone device, Aizawa would announce the distance to the class as he saw the numbers on the device answering in the same bored tone.

"1200 meters" Aizawa said to which it was responded with the first silent response Aizawa had so far that day.

The class could only stare as Midoriya was acting so casually with the HellSpawn, to which Midoriya was quick to notice his classmates staring as he looked back towards his classmates.

"Is there something wrong?" Midoriya asked since he was confused on why everyone was staying still for a while. This would continue for a few more second to which Hanzo would talk to Midoriya in those few seconds.

"Midoriya, I think there could of been a better way of introducing them to the HellSpawn and surprising your class. Remember, they may never have seen a HellSpawn before." To which Midoriya finally understood his masters answer and was about to quickly explain himself before a majority of the class yelled.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" to which Midoriya flinched a bit at the sudden outburst. Midoriya, knowing he will have to explain himself, decided to say the best he could what Mark was, trying not to stutter on his explanation.

"That was Mark, he's a HellSpawn, a demon from the Netherrealm or Hell and he is an aspect of my quirk HellFire." Midoriya finished saying as he raised his right arm that was still in flames before it died down and Midoriya would continue on his explanation.

"When Mark showed up the first time, I had trouble training with it and we came to an agreement, he helps me and I give him Katsudon but Mark is harmless" Midoriya finished as some of his classmates still seemed a bit hesitant. Midoriya wanted to continue his explanation and say that Mark could do no harm before some of the students decided to try and bring back some optimism into the situation.

"Well, if Midoriya being able to summon Mark to complete the course is what we can do, then this look like fun!" Said a pink skin girl with horns and black sclera eyes with golden irises with excitement to which Midoriya would recognized as the same girl he helped out during the Practical Exam.

"How did I not notice her" Midoriya said to himself, in which Hanzo would question that.

"That is a good question Midoriya, how could you not notice" Hanzo said to which Liang would also add on.

"Your senses may be sharp during combat but you seem to be oblivious when it comes to interacting with others" Liang said to which Midoriya would just hang his head in defeat knowing that he won't win an argument with his two masters. Soon after the pink skinned girl talked another teen would try to bring just as much enthusiasm as her.

"We can use our quirks as much as we want? Man the Hero course the hero course is so manly" Said a boy with sharp teeth and spiky red hair. Which the comments manage to bring some emotion from the sleep deprived man, although not one that would fill the student with hope but one filled with dread.

"Oh it looks fun you say, well you are going to be here in U.A for the next three years, in that time you will be put through the wringer and we will see if you can keep the same attitude. How about we make it more fun, whoever ends up being last in all of the eight courses would deemed as not having any potential and be rewarded with expulsion." Aizawa finished with an ominous smile that sent chill down everyone before the horror of their situation began to finally sink in.

"WWWHHHHAAAAT?!" The whole class yelled, which Uraraka would the first brave soul to question the night hero's decisión.

"B-but expulsion to whoever is last, on the first day of school, is that even fair Mr. Aizawa." to which it would be responded with a harsh and cold tone.

"Do you think that those individuals with blade powers that invaded the United States over four centuries ago were being fair or showing mercy as they were slicing and ripping apart civilians and the Special Forces soldiers with ruthless intent. The world is harsh and it is unfair, you have to deal with it and push through those 'unfair' situations, even if you don't favor them."

Aizawa said which manage to get the reality of the world to finally be processed into the heroes-in-training. For Midoriya, he would hear the signs of both of his masters but not one where he would stutter when talking to someone but rather one filled with guilt, sadness, and regret. Midoriya wanted to ask them what was happening to them but would be interrupted again from his thoughts and decided to just add the question to the ever growing list of questions he wanted to ask them.

"If you are expecting to leave here and have the same type of luxury that you enjoyed in Junior High then you are mistaken, this U.A and you will be tested and we will see if you have what it takes to be here. Now find the motivation to keep pushing like the school motto 'go beyond plus ultra'" Aizawa finished with the same bored tone and raising his arm only slightly up but leaving the students of 1-A to think back to what their homeroom teacher said. Midoriya was left stunned that they would be punishing that who ends up in last place but he would be pulled from throughs by Aizawa soon after.

"Now, lets begin with the test" Aizawa said as he motioned all the students to begin their assessments.

Course 1: 50 Meter Dash

Aizawa explained to the class that it does not matter how they use their quirks to complete the course, as long as they complete it with the first course being the example for the next eight courses. It was simple course, just get from one end to another with two students doing it at the same time. Aizawa would call the first two students to do the obstacle.

"Tenya Iida and Tsuyu Asui, get on the line and wait for the signal" Aizawa said as Midoriya saw Iida and a shorter girl who was had big eyes and black pupils, long dark green hair that was tied to a bow at the end of it, and her tongue sticking out from the corner of her mouth took a step forward. Midoriya began taking into detail of the girl's appearance and wondering about her quirk.

"Maybe her quirk is a mutant type quirk, probably gives her the abilities of a frog?" Midoriya said to himself as he was observing the two students get to their spots.

"Zaterran" Midoriya heard Hanzo say as he was observing the girl which confused Midoriya in what his master meant.

"What was that Master Hanzo, what's a 'Zaterran'?" Midoriya asked as he was seeing Iida raise the bottom part of his pant legs to reveal exhaust pipes coming from his calves.

'So those exhaust pipes are related to Iida's quirk' Midoriya thought wishing he could of brought his hero journal with him, Hanzo would respond.

"The Zaterrans were a race of humanoid, reptilian like people who we had encountered one of its members various times." Hanzo said remembering the last Zaterran members who he and Liang have fought in the past. However there was a small detail that caught Midoriya's attention in Hanzo's choice of words.

"What do you mean by 'were'?" Midoriya asked as Iida crosses the finish line.

"3.04 seconds" Said a machine that was at the end of the track. Soon after the frog quirk girl would cross the finish line, through hoping, as well.

"5.58 Seconds" Said the same robotic voice before Aizawa decided to move on to the next group of people

"Yuga Aoyama and Mina Ashido, step up to the track" to which Midoriya saw a boy with sparkling blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, weird smile, and wearing a weird belt decide that also sparkled, generally Midoriya thought the teen was just made of sparkles. The boy was followed by the same pink skinned girl from the Entrance exam to which Midoriya now knew what her name was.

'So that's her name, I saw her use her quirk during the Entrance Exam, some type of acid based quirk but I wonder what Aoyama's quirk is' Midoriya thought before Liang went on to answer his student's question from before.

"The Zaterran were thought to have gone extinct except for its one members that we mentioned, it seems like the Elder Gods did grant Reptile his request in bringing back the Zaterran as we see two of them right now, though their appearance have changed drastically from Reptiles appearance, especially the horn girl you saved." Liang said as he pointed out the obvious differences between Asui and Ashido when compared to how Zatteran's originally looked.

"W-wait are you saying she's also a Zatteran!" Midoriya said as he heard a laser sound go off from where Ashido and Aoyama were to which a few seconds later they would both cross the line.

"5.01 Seconds" for Ashido.

"5.51 Seconds" for Aoyama. After the time for both was said and Aoyama saying how overusing his quirk Naval Laser gives him stomach cramps, Aizawa would call forth the next pair of teens.

"Ochako Uraraka and Mashirao Ojiro" said Aizawa as Uraraka and a teen with blonde hair and a tail made their way towards the track and in that transition Hanzo would answer his students question.

"It could be the same reason for why Midoriya's parents quirks were just basic or minimal forms of our HellFire and Cryomancer powers. It seems that the Zatteran race went through a change in evolution, could be that when they were repopulating, some of the Zaterran reptilian characteristic were diluted by the introduction of quirks and while not gone completely, they do have some traits left over from them." Hanzo concluded which did help Midoriya understand the difference despite his masters saying they are both from the same race.

"Wait, so was there things that you two did not know of, also what characteristics were related to the Zaterran's masters and are they related to the same Zaterran that you two fought?" Midoriya asked as he was curious for what changed to which Liang would answer.

"We are human as well Midoriya, we do not have infinite wisdom about what happened to the bloodlines or clans of the other races, maybe it was done so that Zaterran wouldn't be close to extinction again. Like we said, they were reptilian like people so characteristics of reptiles were what distinguished the Zaterran's but it seems that with the Asui girl she has more of those characteristics as you saw though not all of the characteristics and seems to be more frog based, same principle applied with the Ashido girl who she seems to have the Zatteran's acidic abilities along with the skin tone, though they are different from the Zatteran's green skin scales. On your last question, no, it seems that the energy that the two are emitting are not the same as Reptile's but they are from his race that we are certain of." Liang finished to which the sound of a beep was heard as Midoriya saw Ojiro cross the finish line.

"5.49 Seconds" and a few seconds after Uraraka would cross the finish line as well.

"7.15 Seconds" to which Uraraka would say after hearing the results.

"Better than Junior high, that great" to which after finally saying the results, Aizawa would call the next pair of teens to continue.

"Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo" which made some of the students look at both teens since the encounter from just a few minutes ago was still fresh in their memory.

Midoriya and Bakugo would go on to step to the starting line, the class would notice Bakugo let out some sparks from his hands as he was preparing to use his quirk to complete the course and for Midoriya they did not see anything being shown that he was using his quirk as he just got into a running position looking forward and the class wondering what Midoriya was going to do.

In an instant, the sound of a beep was heard to indicate that both participants could begin with Bakugo propelling himself towards the end with his explosion, effectively getting a headstart on Midoriya and the class saw Midoriya running behind. Then as quickly as the class saw Bakugo get a headstart on Midoriya, he quickly lost it in the blink of an eye as the class saw Midoriya disappearing in a puff of smoke and embers and the reappearing again in smoke and embers by the finish line which would beep as he crossed it.

"3.05 Seconds" the machine said before getting the time for Bakugo soon afterwards.

"4.13 Seconds" the machine said again which got Bakugo furious at being beaten by someone he saw below him and would of gone and beaten Midoriya's ass if he wanted had he not already received a warning of expulsion from his homeroom teacher. But to the class, they could only stare in amazement as they did not expect the green haired teen to be able to teleport along with summoning a HellSpawn, to which a teen with blonde hair with a streak of black going through it would ask a question that was in a majority of the class mind.

"I thought you said that summoning that demon was your quirk?" said the blonde streak teen before Midoriya went on to answer the question as he was making his way towards the group so that the next pair could continue the course.

"I said that summoning Mark was an aspect of my quirk HellFire, not my quirk as a whole. It let's me use fire as a source to power many of my abilities like Flame-Port which you just saw and making weapons" Midoriya said as he open his right palm upward and embers began to form above it before taking the form of a sword with a brown hilt, which shock the class even more at the versatility of Midoriya's quirk. Those who were not shocked and more intrigued by it was the Bicolored haired teen who did not expect Midoriya to be able to use his quirk like that, which made him realize a similarity of the stories told from his father of a grandmaster who had similar abilities as the green haired teen which he assumed it was coincidence but decided to ask the teen when the chance showed itself.

For a black haired teen girl with onyx eyes and hair that was tied into a spiky ponytail was intrigued by the green haired teens ability to create inanimate objects as well, which she would observe the teen to see if he was able to create more than just normal swords.

For Bakugo, he just kept fuming as he could just look in disbelief that the defenseless Deku that he knew was quirkless was showing off his quirk, as if he was the hottest thing and the cream of the crop, which made it even harder for Bakugo to contain himself as he was now more determined than ever to beat Deku, to remind him of his place.

After Midoriya and Bakugo made their way out of the track Aizawa would continue with the course as they were wasting more time than needed.

Course 2: Grip Test

Aizawa explained to his class that they needed to grip a device as hard as they could to which the highest score went to a teen with silver hair that almost covered his eyes and a light blue mask covering his face, who used his six arms to hold the grip and got a score of 540 k.g's. Midoriya, who use an amplifier to use and manage to get close but still below Shoji's score at about 500 k.g's.

Course 3: Standing Long Jump

The course was easy for the class to grasp, try to see how far you can go in the sandbox. The first to go was Bakugo who would clear the sandbox completely, followed by Aoyaga who shot himself to the other side of the sandbox also completing it. Midoriya would use his Flame-Port to get to the other side after getting a running start and would also completely clear the sandbox.

Course 4: Repeated Side Step

Aizawa explained that the class needed to see how fast they could hop from side to side with the purple ball haired teen getting the highest score by using the balls on his head to bounce himself in between them, who Midoriya would learn his name to be Minoru Mineta. Midoriya would come close second where he decided to use his Ice slide to slide himself from side to side as quickly as possible, which he would of gone faster had the surprise of his classmates not broke his concentration and caused him to slip on his own ice and face plant on the hard ground. Laying there for a few moments, Midoriya would be picked up by the girl with purple hair as she extended a hand towards Midoriya as he looked at the girl in question.

"Need a hand" she said to which Midoriya accepted, not noticing a small blush glowing on the girls face but would not notice in the long run as the same blonde boy with a black streak, who he learned was named Denki Kaminari after kicking a conversation with the boy, asked him a question that was in everyone's minds, with the exception of the purple haired girl, Uraraka, and Iida since they seen his quirk before.

"I thought you said HellFire was your quirk?" to which Midoriya, after being helped up by the girl he went to answer.

"I did say my quirk was HellFire but I did not say it was my only quirk, my other quirk is called Cryomancer which is similar to my HellFire quirk but rather than fire, it uses ice to power my other abilities and skills like my Ice Slide and weapons as well." Midoriya finished as particles of ice began to form on his two palms as he put them together in front of him, his palms facing away from him as the class saw the particles of ice begin to solidify as he slid his left palm away from his right palm that was closing and the class saw as a sword of Ice formed to which Midoriya would swing a few times before crushing it in his palm as bits of ice fell to the ground.

To say the class was more than surprise would be an understatement as many were wondering they were going to keep up with the now dual quirk teen.

For the Bicolored teen, he was shocked to say the least as there was now another person that had similar quirks to his but with the green haired teen's powering his abilities while his summoning them in their purest from, but what caught the teen's attention the most was how similar the teens quirks were to the stories he was told about his two clans, well one clan, grandmaster who used the element of ice and after seeing Midoriya's usage of the two quirks, he now had two questions that he wanted to confirm, if he also part of the clan and most importantly...was he also a product of a quirked marriage.

For Bakugo, he was fuming from rage as right in front of his eyes, he not only seen Deku have a quirk but now he saw that he had two versatile quirks that could possibly rival his and that Deku was holding more power than what he was showing, now Bakugo had questions he demands that Deku answer, and then after he would go to show useless Deku where he belongs in the Pecking order.

For the black haired girl, she was becoming more intrigued by the green haired teens nature of his quirk as not only could he create weapons that he needed but he could also use them for other techniques and abilities without needing to rely on the weapons. She would ask him on what he could create with his quirk, plus it could be fun to have someone else aside from her parents who could create things with their quirks.

Course 5: Ball Throw

Aizawa explained that since Midoriya already did the ball throw first early on, he would not have to do it again, which was fine with Midoriya and made some within the group release a sign of relief at not having to be surprise by the HellSPawn again. The first to go up was Katsuki Bakugo who prepared his to throw the ball before yelling.

"DIE!" which Midoriya just raised an eye at that.

"Die?" Midoriya said as his two masters would go on to comment on this.

"Well, as long a he doesn't actually kill someone" Hanzo said which if Midoriya could see him, he could probably see Hanzo and Liang sweat drop.

"If that's his was to release some anger to keep hit temper in check, then it should be fine" Liang said. Aizawa would show the score of Bakugo being 705.2 meter, which Midoriya just saw Bakugo just growing even angrier as he just looked at Midoriya's direction before walking off back to the group. The next person to step up was Uraraka who would go on to be the only person to surpass Midoriya's own score since her quirk negates the effect of gravity and the ball just kept going and going until Aizawa's device just read infinity. Following her, a boy with Bicolor hair, who Midoriya learned was one of two students to make it through by recommendations called Shoto Todoroki, which for some reason he felt like some familiarity with the bicolored teen, to which Hanzo would begin talking to Midoriya.

"You feel it too Midoriya?" to which Liang would ask his descendant as well.

"That sense of familiarity don't you, it's the same for me and Hanzo right now" Liang would say to which Midoriya would answer to them.

"Yeah, it feels like not only do I feel like I heard his name before but despite never meeting him I still sense like there's some familiarity with him." Midoriya said to which Hanzo would reply.

"That is because he is also a descendant from our clans Midoriya, to be more precise, he is both of our descendant." to which it got Midoriya's eyes to expand as wide as they could go as Todoroki used a column of ice to launch the ball to which it would land him around 750.7 meters. After he did so, the ice column began to melt as he put his palm on it which made Midoriya find confirmation that what Hanzo said was true. Both himself and Todoroki are descendants of Hanzo and Liang.

Following this new revelation, Midoriya was going to ask his two masters about the relations between himself and Todoroki since his parents are only children, along with his grandparents, while at the same time a girl with black hair in a spiky ponytail, who Midoriya he heard was the second student to make it in through recommendations so Midoriya knew that she was strong as well,went to take her turn. Feeling like they knew what type of question their student was about to ask, Liang went ahead to answer the possible questions Midoriya has.

"If you are wondering on how you two are related, then it is from my son and Hanzo's son, both would be in their respective clans although at one point one of Hanzo's descendant would leave the Shirai Ryu and live a normal life away from the clan, decades before the disintegration of the clans, and my son's descendants would remain with the Lin Kuei until both clans had to disaband and since then, descendants have come and passed, with both of your parents being descendants from both clans with only one of them knowing the history of both clans, which would lead to them having you and Shoto. You two share both Hanzo's and mine's blood, you two are distant cousins." Liang finished as the sound of a cannon was heard which made Midoriya break from his thoughts as he look up and see the front of the black haired girls gym uniform open, which made Midoriya blush before he realize that a cannon was next to her which he wondered where she got a cannon from. It made him think that maybe it was related to her quirk but he was still having to process that new information and he would remain in that state for the rest of the courses.

After all the Courses finished

Aizawa had everyone looking at him as he was preparing to announce the results of the apprehension and everyone will see which unfortunate soul will have to leave the class.

"Alright, Im just going ahead and show you all where you place" Aizawa said as he pressed a button in his device and then a projection began showing where everyone had placed.

After the results were shown the small teen would fall to his knees and Midoriya couldn't help to feel bad for him until Aizawa decided to talk.

"Oh, yeah about that whole expulsion thing, I was lying." which made the whole class train of thought stop as they took in the new information.

"WWWWWWWWWWWWWW HHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTT?!" almost everyone said before Aizawa went to explain himself with the same ominous smile on his face.

"It was just a logical ruse to make you all give it your best" which manage to get Midoriya to understand his reason for doing so, so that people do not hold back on their strength to which even the black haired girl who placed first which Midoriya figured was Yaoyorozu began to add on to the new bit of information.

"It was so simple, did no one else catch on to that?" Yaoyorozu said to which it made almost everyone say.

"YOU COULDN'T HAD SAID THAT EARLIER?!" Midoriya also had the same though before Hanzo would add on as well.

"It is an old tactic we used for the beginners when we trained them in the temples but to see it still being used shows that the man is more than what you may think" Hanzo said as he was genuinely surprised that there were still people that wanted their students to give their best. To which Midoriya, having the same question as everyone, decided to ask the same to his master.

"you couldn't have said that earlier" to which he got the look of the class as Midoriya was late on his reaction to the question, to which Liang would answer his question.

"Same reason your teacher didn't say anything, so that you could not hold back" Liang said to which it just made Midoriya even more aware of his homeroom teacher's methods of teaching.

"You are all dismissed, go and change back to your normal uniforms, pick up the syllabus once you are back" Aizawa said back in his normal bored tone and walked away, leaving the class to take a breather from the whole experience.

After Kaminari tried getting Mineta back on his feet at his near expulsion, the boys would make their way to the locker room and the girls to their.

After the school day

It was the end of the day and Midoriya was already in the process of putting his stuff back in his bag until the girl with purple hair who helped him earlier got his attention.

"H-hey" she said to which Midoriya would respond back, trying to not stutter while to to a girl, and also thanking her from earlier

"Oh hey, thank you for helping me earlier today uhh...I'm sorry I forgot to ask, what's your name?" Midoriya asked as he never asked her what her name was before the girl responded, he notice a hint of sadness in her tone.

"You don't remember me do you..." the girl said which only got Midoriya confused as he saw her face begin to turn into a pink shade of color.

"I'm sorry, I don't think we met before. Did we go to the same school before?" Midoriya asked as he did not have an idea of where he met the girl or recall meeting anyone who looked like her to which the girl would continue to talk to him.

"Do you remember, about seven months, about nine at night, that you intervene on a group of men in an alleyway?" the girl said as she still had that small blush on her face as she glanced to the side when saying that. It was then that Midoriya would finally connected the dots and his eyes expanded as far as they could as he remembered now, the first person he saved with his quirks. Midoriya's words would be broken after this as he began to respond to the girls question.

"N-now I remembered. Y-you're her. You're the girl I helped all those months ago in the alleyway." Midoriya said as that response seem to have lighten the purple haired girl as she looked at him with a small smile.

"Y-you do remembered." She said as Midoriya and the girl could only stay like that for a few moments, almost as if they were think on what to say next which would be broken by Midoriya.

"How have you been since then, i'm sorry i was not able to remember you I just stepped in to help you and did not get a good chance to see you or make sure if you were ok, and I've been wondering if you were ok and if I ever were to see you and..." Midoriya would be stopped by the purple haired girl as he felt a slight sting on the side of his arm, to which he saw something sticking to his arm before it pulled out and resembled what looked like a jack before it retracted back to a shorter lengh to the girl's ear lobes. Midoriya wanted to ask if that was her quirk but before he could, the girl would talk to him.

"Y-yes i've been doing fine, and its ok you had to deal with those assholes so it was ok, and I just wanted to say thank you for what you did, you appeared when I though no one else did." the girl said which brought a small blush from the green haired teen. which he would respond with him scratching the back of his head.

"It was nothing, it just what a hero would do, you know" Midoriya said as those words just made the girl blush even more and before she felt like her face would begin to blow steam from her ears she decided to change the topic.

"M-my name is Kyoka Jirou" she said to which Midoriya would also answer in the same embarrassed and blushing tone.

"I-izuku Midoriya" he finished and the two would remain like that, in an awkward pregnant silence as they just stood like that for the next minute before Jirou decided to break the silence.

"W-well I just wanted to say that, i-it was good seeing you again bye" and after that she left leaving Midoriya behind, wondering what just transpired. As he continued putting his stuff away, Liang decided to talk to Midoriya.

"Midoriya, I know we haven't talked much about the warriors that we told you that Earthrealm would need in it's time of crisis but I do believe it is time we bring that issue up now" Liang finished which just made Midoriya panic at what his master meant.

"W-wait, is the realm in danger already, but where are we going to find the other warriors and..." to which he was stopped by Hanzo before he continued on his rambling.

"First off, remember to stop the stuttering." to which Midoriya stop on his stuttering.

"Second, no the realms isn't in any danger right now but we do believe it would be wise that we begin to know who the warriors that Lord Raiden has foretold are as we will have to know who you will be fighting side by side when the time comes?" Hanzo finished as Midoriya understood the logic to that.

"So, is there any place where we can start?" Midoriya asked as he now understands what he will also need to do along with trying to accomplish his dream of being a hero. To which Liang would answer his question.

"That ability that Lord Raiden gave us on sensing people, we have notice strong energies coming from many of your classmates, it seems that the closer we get to these energies the more noticeable they become." Liang said to which help Midoriya understand why they could not have gone directly to members of the clans since they needed to be close to them. Hanzo would also add a bit more information to what Liang was explaining in finding the warriors for Earthrealm.

"If we don't count Shoto, there seems to be a few other familiar energies coming from some of your classmates, they could be descendants from a few other of our comrades." Hanzo said as a few of the energies had similar energies to one and to the ancestors from his time, he thinks that it could be that some of the students are distant cousins as well. Midoriya would respond to Hanzo's comment.

"Ok so that's a good place to start, speaking of which, are any of my classmates related to our clan, more specifically are there anymore descendants related to you Grandmasters?" Midoriya asked as he wanted to know if there were any distant family members he did not know of. Liang would respond to Midoriya's question.

"No, seems only you and Shoto are the only one's" which help Midoriya clarify on more of his clan, but there was still one more question that he wanted to address to his two masters.

"Do you two think we should tell him as well that we are related as well?" Midoriya asked since he thought that something like this should be said to his distant cousin.

"For now, we should focus on trying to find the warriors and talk to them about Earthrealm and how they will be needed for its future is of greater importance Midoriya, you can tell him afterwards." Liang said as he understood why Midoriya would want to tell Shoto about their lineage but they needed to find the warriors for Earthrealms defenses. To which Midoriya, although disappointed, would agree as there will be time for that soon, he didn't want to just go up to the bicolor teen and say 'Hey I know we are from the same clan and share a common ancestor so that means that we are distant cousins and we need to gather warriors for Lord Raiden to protect Earthrealm from other realms', he will tell him about their relation, hopefully soon.

After having gathered his things, Midoriya made his way towards the train station before he heard two different pair feet coming from behind him.

"Hey Deku, are you going to the train station as well, can we join you" Midoriya turned around, almost with dread at his childhood nickname being used.

"We're on our way there right now as well" said Iida as Midoriya still had that displeased look in his face as Uraraka took notice of Midoriya's expression.

"Is something wrong Deku" she said not knowing the implication of that name, to which Midoriya wanted to help clarify on, with a sad tone.

"Actually Izuku Midoriya is my full name" Midoriya said which brought confusion to Uraraka

"I heard that one explosive guy call you Deku so I figure that was your name." she said with confusion still in her face, which Midoriya couldn't help but feel better knowing that she did not mean it by bad spirit...after all she did not tell him to throw himself off a building. Midoriya would respond with a weak smile.

"Deku is actually a nickname Kacchan gave me when we were little, it means useless" Midoriya said to which it made Uraraka mortified at what she was saying and Iida go into robotic movements.

"That is completely unacceptable of someone to go name calling someone like that" Iida would continue which would be followed by Uraraka.

"Im sorry, but you know Deku kinda sounds similar to Dekuri, which means that 'you can do it'" Which did bring a smile to his face at seeing someone turning the nickname he hated for so long into something else, much more important. Now looking more happy at having encountered the two on the way to the station he would reply to Urarakas comment.

"Then Deku it is" Midoriya said which did bring a smile from the brown haired girl and confusion from Iida and to his two masters as well. Which all three of them would say the same thing.

"You are very accepting of the change aren't you Midoriya" said all three voices which Midoriya could only try to hide his face from embarrassment as he tried to explain himself.

"I-it's like a Copernican Revolution..." Midoriya would murmur which just brought confusion to Uraraka

"Co-pe?" Uraraka said before Midoriya decided to talk.

"It's ok, you guys are coming to the same station as well?" Midoriya asked since that was what they were originally talking about. To which Iida would answer.

"Yes we are on our way there as well, so let's go all together, better to know each other if were together for the next three years" Iida said which Midoriya accepted to go along with them and all three would continue their walk toward the station and talking about Aizawa's usage of deception to draw the best in them.

Midoriya finished his first day of class at U.A and manage to survive the first hurdle thrown at him, Midoriya would continue to replay the new information told to him by his two masters and finding out more about his bloodline. Midoriya has so many things to think about but with the guidance of Hanzo and Liang, he will take on the challenges that will come his way. As the next trial that would test Midoriya's abilities would appear sooner than he thought.
