I have started the next chapter so should but up soon (at least- not in 4 months :/) Enjoy!
Disclaimer-I no own anything
Edward ran as fast as he could, trying to get away from that place, the place where Al had said he- "He hates me!" Ed wiped his eyes, stopping the tears before they fell. His rapid getaway was hindered as he ran into someone. He hit the ground and looked up at the person he had ran into. His golden eyes caught the bright blue of the man before he noticed the dress-no, robes- the man was wearing, a garish purple and yellow that called for attention.
"I-I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going," he wiped his eyes before continuing, "as I said, I'm so sorry."
The man chuckled. "That's quite alright young man, I too was lost in my thoughts." He reached out to Ed and waited until Ed had grasped his hand before pulling it up. "So, you seemed to be in a hurry, are you running late for something?" His voice was calm and soothing, making Ed want to answer him.
"Um, no sir, I was- I was trying to get away from something."
"At half-two in the morning?"
"Yes. Why are you out this late yourself?" Ed's eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"I have been called to a meeting, which I must hurry to. I hope you manage to get away from what you are trying to escape, have a good day."
"Umm, you too sir, I hope your meeting goes well."
The man turned from Edward and started to walk away, the way Edward had come from.
"My name's Edward Elric. I hope to meet you again sir, this was a nice talk, and once again, I'm sorry I ran into you."
"Nice to meet you Mr Elric, my name is Albus Dumbledore and I'm sure our paths will cross again."
Albus Dumbledore walked away, leaving Edward stood there for a moment before he turned and carried on the way he had been headed before the incident.
-Three Hours Later-
Ed stood up from the bench he had found in the middle of the park three streets away from the house he had appeared in. His joints clicked as he stretched his back, his automail creaking. He looked down as he stretched his arms in front of him.
"Shit." He had forgotten that his glove had been ripped when he punched through the door of that prison. "I suppose I'd better get back there." His stomach growled as if in response to that statement.
He turned back to the entrance he had used to get into the park and retraced his steps back to Grimmauld Place. He counted the houses but when he got to the house he had left, there was no hole in the door and it didn't have the same atmosphere as the house he had been trapped in. He took one step back and felt a wave of cold wash over him, another and the temperature returned to normal. He took a single step forwards, right into the patch of cold. He turned towards the houses and walked forwards, almost falling over in shock as a house appeared between numbers 13 and 11. Shaking off his shock he walked through the gaping hole that was the remains of the door of Number 12 Grimmauld Place.
