Hello everyone that has read this story up till now!
I'm so so sorry for the fact that I haven't written a chapter in about 3 years! Like you have no idea how sorry I am, but I do have a reason.
Between school and graduation and just life situations, I have also had writers block. I even had artist block, I couldn't draw a thing for about the same amount of time either! my two things that I'm decent at, I couldn't do for years. It put me in a horrible rut and I absolutely hated it. Then, a year after graduation, I had a kid. A cute little baby boy (who is almost one now!) so I've been pretty busy! I haven't been able to have much time to be able to sit down and write! Not to mention, up until about 3 or 4 months ago, I had a full time job on top of it all, so I couldn't really do anything, then my laptop(s) started to go to shit and now I'm just having a hard time in general.
With my anxiety acting up and everything, I haven't been able to get enough sleep to be able to finish the chapter I've been working on. But, when I find the chapter (I should have some written and saved in an email somewhere) I might be able to post what I have to satisfy you guys for a little while..
I really like this story. It's one of my best works by far, and I just can't seem to get it out of my head. I wont end this just yet, seeing I already have a sequel in mind, but it will take me time to get a new chapter of this story out.
You might see me post other stories, either with chapters or one-shots, but don't think that I'm not thinking about how I'm going to move this chapter along. I think about it every day. Sometimes I even dream about how I'm going to do a new scene and everything, so it's not like this story is forgotten.
I just thought I would let the people who, had either been following this story from the beginning, or are just now coming into the world of the The Ningyo, that I AM working on this story. It's just that its going to take me a little while between chapters.
I love you guys. All of you are amazing human being and I don't think that I would have continued writing like this if it weren't for all of you. So thank you, and hope to hear from you guys when the next chapter comes out!
