Chapter 4

Later On: Vlad walked to his father's house in search for the answer he has been waiting for a long time. He comes up to the sidewalk leading up to his father's house and stopped in his tracks. The door was opened and the lights were out. Vlad walks in the house with his gun and looked around and no one was inside. Vlad grabbed his phone and called Snow.

Vlad: Snow, I just went to my dad's house and my dad's gone! I don't know what to do! (He is silently crying.

Snow: OH MY GOD! I'm coming over now! You stay there ok and…

Vlad was grabbed from behind and his phone flew out of his hand.

Snow: Vlad! Is everything ok?! Vlad! Vlad! I'm calling the police!(Snow ran out of their apartment and called the police. Snow ran even though she might not make it in time to save him. They all wanted his power because he was the first Pravus.) Her breath was knocked out of her when she was brought down on her knees. The figure looked down at her and smiled. That look was familiar and she suddenly became unconscious.

Vlad turned around to get his gun from the waistband of his pants and saw the face of his opponent. Vlad had a look of shock across his face as he realized that it was Vikas.

Vikas: You have been a pain in my side for a long time. I want you gone. I want your power Pravus! (Vikas grabs Vlad's neck and Vikas's fangs popped out.) The only way I can have your power is to suck your blood!

Vlad: If you do, you will die! Only people with enough strength can withhold the power of the Pravus! (Vlad tried pushing Vikas away but he couldn't)

Vikas: Don't lie to me! I can handle it myself! I have enough and I am stronger than you. (Vikas spit in his face, and he lowered his teeth to the soft skin where his main vein, and Vikas was torn away from Vlad.)

Tomas: YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY SON! (Tomas grabbed a chair and swung it so hard at Vikas head that Vikas swayed and fell to the ground in a slump, Vlad looked in surprise.)

Vlad: I thought they took you! I ….

Tomas: Save it for later. We must leave or he'll wake up. (Tomas walked to the door with Vlad trailing behind him.) I thought I told you not to come alone! Now I have to find another house that will keep us off the radar.

Vlad: What's going on? I thought everything was ok.

Tomas: No. That's why we must leave or they will find us again.

Vlad: NO! Not until you tell me what the hell is going on! (He wheeled on his father just when they got to the door of his car.)

Tomas: Vikas turned bad. Someone was giving him something to change that way he is and made him get the powers from you. He was given orders to get your blood and deliver it. I don't really have all the details yet but we must go and get Otis, Nelly and Snow.

Vlad: OH MY GOD! SNOW! WE MUST GET HER!
