A/N: I tried my best with the Chinese, I used Google Translate. Also disclaimer: I don't own... on with the STORY!

"WHAT?! DID SHE ACTUALLY SAY THAT?" Rose asked in disbelief, sure Sam didn't like Jake but she would NEVER go that far, would she?

"She did, but don't worry. It's all good. This just means I have to work harder to win over your family..." Jake said,

"You're really something Jake."

"Something good?" he asked, Rose laughed.

"Sure." She smiled and kissed Jake on the cheek, before grabbing his hand and leading him into the theatre.

"What are we seeing?" Jake asked.

"Well the best part about this movie theatre is that it has movies playing in both Chinese and English, separated into two totally different parts of the theatre. Now I'll admit to trying to sit through an entire movie in Chinese but I failed miserably...aren't you like half-Chinese?" Rose asked.

"Yeah..."

"Do you speak Chinese? That would be so cool!"

"Yeah, I used to spend the summers with my grandparents, they live a few hours away from here. They only spoke in Chinese so I picked up on it." Jake explained.

"You know what? We should see a movie in Chinese! Then you could translate everything for me! I want to see you speak in Chinese!" Rose exclaimed.

"Um...sure. We can if you want." Jake said.

"YES! Let's do it!" Rose said, she took Jake's hand and led him down one of the hallways and into an even bigger arena like Area.

"Read the titles of the movies." she said pointing at the board where the movie titles were shown.

"Zháohuǒ, Dòngjié de, Zìyóu niǎo, Léishén hēi'àn de shìjiè." Jake said, reading off the titles in Chinese.

"Which means…" Rose asked, enlightened and excited by the Chinese language.

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Frozen, Free Birds, and Thor the Dark World."

"I've been wanting to see Catching Fire! You saw the Hunger Games Didn't you?" Rose asked.

"Yeah, Haley made me go see it."

"Alright then! It's settled, we're seeing Catching Fire!"

Jake smiled. It was nice to be on a date with Rose. He missed her, and he wasn't going to take moments like these for granted. He pulled out his wallet, as they approached the front desk to get tickets.

"Here ya go." The guy said, handing them their ticket stubs.

They walked until they came to two main halls. "Now look, the one that says entrance in English only shows movies in English, but we're going in the entrance that has the Chinese symbols above it.

"Got it." Jake said, as they walked into the theatre.

"Can I get popcorn?" Rose asked.

"Sure. Whatever you want." Jake said.

Rose smiled and dashed off to get popcorn, she returned two seconds later. "Can I have money?"

Jake laughed and gave her a twenty.

Rose went to get popcorn again. She returned with Popcorn, a large soda, two packs of skittles, nachos and a Twix.

"Just getting Popcorn?"

"I hope you didn't want change." Rose said, balancing her drink and her popcorn.

"Nah, it's cool. Here, you want some help?" Jake asked taking her nachos.

"Don't eat them! They're mine!" Rose said.

"I don't want to! I just want to help hold them." Jake laughed.

He loved this side of Rose. She was so cute when she was just being herself. He knew she wouldn't really mind if he ate her nachos but it was always fun to kid around some. They didn't have a care in the world-except for Sam- but Jake was sure he could win her over sometime soon.

They got inside the part of the Theatre where the movie was being shown and sat down. The Trailers were still showing, and yes, they were in Chinese.

Jake saw Roses eyes glued to the screen as she tried to decipher what each person was saying. Like a deaf person trying to read lips. Though it wouldn't work if you don't speak the language.

"Relax, once the movie starts I'll tell you what everyone is saying." Jake said.

"Yes…but why is he so mad at her? It doesn't look like she did anything wrong."

"She set his house on fire."

"Oh…"

The movie started soon and I started telling Rose everything they were saying. I swear, some really unmanly sentences left my mouth.

"You know, you could live a thousand lifetimes and not deserve him." I repeated, as one of the characters said it.

"Aaaw." Rose said.

I rolled my eyes. This movie...is so long. I thought to myself.

(Another long hour later)

I sighed as the credits rolled. Rose hugged me.

"Such a good movie!" She said.

I nodded. "You thought so too?"

"Sure." I said.

Rose smiled and took my hand, sometime during the movie I guess she had finished her food because it was gone. We walked out of the theatre and into the daylight.

"What now?" She asked.

"I don't know, what do you want to do?"

"We could…go back to my place and hangout." She said.

I nodded my head in agreement and we started walking to her place.

When we got there she let me in. Her parents were in the living room with Sam.

"Hey! Looks like the whole family is home!" Rose said smiling. She gave her father a hug, and smiled at her mother.

"Yes, well I got off early today. My papers come in tomorrow and then a week after that we move to New York. If you look around we've already done some packing."

Rose looked around and noticed the pictures off the walls and other various things packed away.

"I'm so excited dad. If you don't mind though, me and Jake are just gonna hang out upstairs a bit."

"You know the rules, leave the door open and NO kissing or no touching."

"Yes daddy." Rose said leading Jake upstairs, she showed him into her room. Leaving the door opened like she promised.

"Sam and I share this room. This is my side that is hers." Rose said pointing to Sam's side of the room.

"I see…" Jake said.

"Don't worry, she doesn't bite. Even if she did, she's not in here right now." Rose said sitting down on her bed and motioning for Jake to sit down beside her. Jake sat next to Rose and put his arm around her.

"No touching, remember?" Rose laughed.

"You guys were serious about that?"

"Something you should know about my dad, he means everything he says, and if he doesn't like you he'll make sure you know it. Now if I were you I'd move that arm before I lost it." Rose said seriously.
