Chapter 3:
The Giver of Harems
It was a nice and sunny day with wisps of gentle winds that caressed and cooled what little was exposed of Hinata's skin. She hummed at the relaxing weather and let her back lean on the trunk of the giant tree, where she was currently hiding to carry out her usual self-appointed NaruSaku-protecting duty. She was very high up on the tree, sitting on a thick branch.
Hinata suddenly let out an adoring giggle as a cute NaruSaku moment played out. Sakura was trying to act tough and unaffected by something Naruto said or did, but Hinata could see that Sakura was dying to smile! It seemed that NaruSaku was progressing well!
Hinata was feeling proud of the fruits of her hard work, when suddenly-!
A third figure expertly flickered in so fast that Hinata's Byakugan didn't register it quick enough to block the figure from approaching NaruSaku!
The dynamics on the soil of Team 7's training ground changed!
Hinata straightened up and turned serious. She focused on the new arrival, expecting a new face, but then-!
'Uchiha-san?!' Hinata exclaimed in her head as her eyes grew wide. Didn't she already took care of him by gifting him a generous harem?
Why was he insisting on a NaruSakuSasu?
What was wrong with his harem?
What went wrong on her plans!?
Hinata nervously bit her thumb, as her brain tried to come up with reasons as to why Sasuke wasn't getting busy with his harem.
'What was Uchiha-san's harem missing?' Hinata thought as her eyes got distracted by the sudden movement of Sakura's violently swishing pink hair that slapped her blushing face as she drooled over Sasuke.
That's when an idea suddenly came to her.
And then, like a ninja on a mission, Hinata vanished on thin air.
Sasuke sensed the offending suspect's chakra on the same spot of the same tree and he instantly turned murderous. He had been rounding the village, looking for the offender all day, but with no luck. Funny that he'd sense the offender on the same spot.
The offender was lucky, because if it hadn't been for Naruto's non-stop blabber that distracted him, Sasuke would've gone and punished the offender right then and there.
As Sasuke felt the sudden disappearance of the offender's chakra, he could only curse internally. That's when a familiar feeling arose and covered the training ground…
Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura stilled as the place had gone completely quiet. The trees stopped rustling and swaying, the birds stopped chirping and the cool breeze had suddenly gone missing.
The warmth from the sun slowly vanished as shadows from thick clouds slowly claimed the area with an angry promise.
The three gulped in anxious anticipation with bullets of cold sweat covering their foreheads. All three of them, having experienced the horrors of the same threat, shared the same feelings.
"W-We probably should go now Sasuk-" Sakura started talking to Sasuke, only to notice that he was already running away!
Sakura felt devastated!
Then the ground started shaking.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" It was the deafening and overly excited squeals of a mob of pink hair.
Sakura's eyes went wide as her heart sunk, 'not again…'
But then-!
Sakura was gonna try and escape but she stopped and did a double take at the detail of the new horde of girls that were sprinting at a blinding speed to catch Sasuke.
'All of them has pink hair….WHAT THE FU-!' Sakura was going to curse in her head but she and Naruto got quickly hit and ran over again….
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" It was Naruto's high pitched and terrified scream…
Unlike last time, Hinata surveyed from afar to watch Sasuke's reaction. She was expecting him to be rendered speechless at the amount of beautiful pink-haired girls and finally give up on Sakura.
Hinata was the one who got rendered speechless by Sasuke's reaction though!
As Sasuke ran away from the pink-haired girls whom Hinata knew from who-knows-where, Hinata quivered and lost her energy at her failed attempt to distract Sasuke.
'Why is he running away?! And why does it seem like Uchiha-san doesn't feel any attraction owards such beautiful pink-haired girls?' Hinata was having such an inner turmoil, when a memory suddenly flashed in her head.
[flashlight]
In their classroom at the academy, girls crowded Sasuke, as Sasuke seduced Naruto to give up his first kiss…
(At least, that was how Hinata remembered it.)
[end flashlight]
Hinata blinked wide awake as she got taken out of her thoughts and felt herself get enlightened.
Sasuke hopped from roof to roof and silently fumed as he followed the traces of chakra that the offender left, all the while internally listing all of his past enemies. It had to be one of them. Sasuke expected it to be one of them!
But when Sasuke finally reached the village centre where the offender's chakra was located, he clearly saw Naruto's shy and gentle stalker who couldn't hurt a fly. The chakra definitely belonged to her!
Sasuke's eyes were wide as he stood still in disbelief. He saw Hinata turn her head and lock eyes with him. He watched her eyes go wide. Then she respectfully bowed to him in a silent greeting before hurrying away.
Sasuke was still having a hard time matching the meek girl's image with his evil offender, when a familiar horrifying scene play out for the third time.
The villagers seemed to have sensed danger and smartly vacated, while Sasuke's mouth hung open and his eyes grew wider.
'You must be kidding me…' Sasuke thought as he finally got convinced that his offender really was the supposed-to-be kind and shy Hinata Hyuuga.
Sasuke clenched his jaw in confusion and in anger.
Why would she torment him with one of his nightmares?
Sasuke was lost in his deep hurt at being betrayed by a supposed-to-be one of his comrades, but he was also unconsciously expecting high pitched squeals.
What he didn't expect was the low and manly voices that lovingly called out to him.
"SASUKE-KUUUUUN!"
Sasuke stopped his attempt at running away. He had to make sure he was hearing correctly! So he turned his head and looked at the horde, the horde of blushing and grown men who giggled and moved in a girly way that was more girly than Sakura could ever be.
Really, what has he ever done to the Hyuga to deserve this?
Days passed and Sasuke's predicament seemed to worsen despite his attempts to counter Hinata.
He tried to avoid her, but hordes still came!
He tried to approach her and settle their differences in a peaceful talk, but before he could even get close, she would bow and then disappear. Then the hordes would appear!
He tried asking Naruto and Sakura about Hinata, but right after approaching them, a horde would appear!
Did the Hyuga know how difficult it was to live every waking day in suspense?
Did the Hyuga know the trauma of being violently and sexually harassed?
Did the Hyuga know how tiring it was to always be on the look-out and not have any time let your guard down and feel safe?
Did the Hyuga know how problematic it was to be so popular!?
Did she?
Did SHE!?
'Fuck atonement.' Sasuke glared as he spied on his latest enemy on the Hyuga grounds. In his hands, one could see the familiar shape of a camera.
'I'll make you regret crossing me. Feel my pain Hyuga', was the avenger's thought as he held up and operated the camera, all the while trying not to let the bathing Hyuga's curves get to him.
