I know I'm in the Yu-gi-oh world but it's completely different from the manga/anime. In this world Yugi and his gang doesn't exist but Atem however does and he has his body "Not in his spirit form, why" I thought. Next thing I knew I was hit from behind causing me to lost all memories of Yu-gi-oh but I heard a voice say, "You need to forget in order for your destiny." (Atem X OC).

4. Unfamiliar

Chapter 4: Unfamiliar

"Just wait for me a moment I left my schoolbag" I said and came to my apartment. I looked around my apartment and sighed.
It looks familiar and yet so unfamiliar. I saw a picture on the wall and looked closer at it. It was me with a man who is my father. How do I know that? Well it's because on the edge of picture wrote: I love you my daughter, but however it was weird. If I had a father why I don't remember anything...and what about mom. This is so weird.

"Hey Dawn are you coming?"yelled Atem. I snapped out of my trance and put the picture down. I ran to Atem and smiled "Sorry to keep you waiting." "It's okay. Now first I want to show the park."he said and smiled. "How does that sound?" "Sounds good to me "I said and smiled.

Me and Atem were walking to the park but everytime I looked at him I feel like I already know him. Somewhere I've seen him, I know it, but how and why? "And here we are "said Atem and we sat on the bench. "Hey Dawn." I looked at him. "I know you are in hard situation and all but I will be there for you always. We are friends, right?"

Why do I feel so much pain when he says 'friends?' I just met him..I can't fall in love with a man who I just met even though he looks so hot and his gorgeous eyes and...Dammit stop thinking about it. "T-thanks Atem, I appreciate it." I said and smiled while my heart was beating faster. "One more important thing. Don't forget to hard study for math "he said.

"Why? I mean I am a good student " I was confused. "Because of our new teacher" he sighed. "She is a witch." I chuckled, "Come on she can't be so terrible" "She can." "She can't " "She can." he said and I got an idea. "She can." I said and smirked. "She can't..." Atem looked speechless and I smirked again.

"I beat you" I chuckled. "Hey look ice cream!" I stood up and ran to it. Atem approached toward me. "Two chocolate please" Atem paid for us both. "By the way don't worry about math.. I can help you with that" he winked and I blushed. "Thanks Atem." I smiled and started to eat my ice cream.

~A couple of days later~

I sighed and looked at my math book. "I don't understand this." Then I heard a knock on my door. I ran to it and approached it. "Dawn it's me Atem." I heard him say and smiled when I saw him. "Didn't I tell you I will help you with math." "I guess I forgot " I said and rubbed the back of my neck.

Atem came in and helped me with math. Atually I looked more at Atem then my math book but however he was a great teacher and I understood what he was telliing me which was a good thing.

~At school~

"I'm so nervous. What will I get?" I asked myself. Atem got B+ and finally my test come to me also. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Dawn you won't believe in this but you got A+" he said and I opened my eyes. "I can't believe I got an A+" I hugged Atem tightly "Thank you for helping me while I studied." "Your welcome" he told me as he hugged me back.
