Hey, just started writing again. Thought I would just post this to, begin with. I will try and post a bit more soon. I would love it if you reviewed.
Erin pulled the sheets over her head, it was almost lunch time but she was attempting to sleep-in. That was when she heard the knock on her door, she ignored it for a few minuets, but then felt guilt overcome her. She got up and pulled on her robe, then walked to the front door. A lot of her stuff was still packed in boxes, that were scattered around her on the floor. She opened the door, and spotted a figure walking back towards her front gate. Once the figure heard the door open, she turned around. It was then that Erin realized it was that girl from the clubhouse, the one she could not remember the name of. ''Oh, hey. God, sorry , I didn't think you would still be asleep.'' The girl said, as she noticed Erin's pajamas. Erin didn't really understand what was going on, so she hesitated to answer. ''It's okay, I'll come back another time.'' The girl added, and turned around making her way towards Erin's gate.
''Wait! It's okay.'' Erin said in a voice that was just loud enough for the girl to hear. The girl turned around, ''Come inside.'' Erin added and the girl smiled and made her way back towards Erin, she had her hands tucked into the pockets of her black hoodie, but she pulled them out to shake Erin's hand.
''I'm Lilith, we met at the clubhouse remember?'' The girl said Erin nodded.
''I live across the street from you'' The girl added as she nodded towards a house, that was across the street from Erin's, it was six unbuilt houses down on the right. Come to think of it, it was probably the only house that was fully built other than Erin's on the entire street.
''Oh'' Erin answered, then something clicked in her mind once she noticed the Harley in the driveway ''So you're the one who's been riding around here.'' She said and Lilith nodded ''Yeah, mostly me, sometimes some of the guys come visit but it's mostly me.'' she said then looked back at Erin ''Yeah, um, reason I'm here is...Happy kinda told me off for not coming over and saying ''hi'', said It was rude of me and shit, so here I am.'', The girl said as she smiled again, ''hi'' she then added.
''Hi'' Erin answered, ''Well come inside, if your not busy.'' She asked, and Lilith nodded ''Okay''. Erin lead her towards the kitchen, and put the pot of coffee on. ''So...what do you do with the club?'' Erin asked ''Are you a, what do they call it ...old lady?'' Lilith chuckled in response, as she sat down ''Nah'' she answered smiling. ''I'm a member.'' she added. Erin gave her a puzzled look ''How ?'' she asked.'' Lilith shrugged ''The old president, got me in. He initially said it was because the club was running low on bodies, and that I was more than capable. Later learned that it was all a ploy, and that I was going to be used as a ''human sacrifice'' sorta thing, so he could make a deal with some people.'' Her smile faded of her face as she talked ''I was supposed to be kicked out, but Jax, the new president, kept me. 'Cause I was bringing income in to the club, and 'cause I was good at some stuff the guys weren't. So yeah...'' She added. Erin was looking at her wide-eyed ''Wow, that's rough.'' she said. ''Yeah'' Lilith answered.
The coffee machine made a sound, signaling the coffee was done. Erin turned towards the machine and poured the coffee into two cups, setting one in front of Lilith on the table. ''Happy's my sponsor, so he vouched for me when I was being considered for ejection.'' Lilith said, as she took the cup of coffee and held it in her hands. ''What's a sponsor?'' Erin asked, all this new terminology was confusing her, but she was curious and wanted to learn. Lilith took a second to compose her reply, careful not to give too much away ''It's like a mentor, they have responsibility over you when your a prospect, and even after you patch in.'' she explained and Erin nodded ''Did you...prospect?'' she asked, Lilith nodded ''Yeah, but not for long. The club didn't want out of town members to take advantage of me, so I kinda got my patch earlier. But then I was still treated like a prospect for ages.'' Erin took a sip of her coffee, it was far too hot and it almost burnt her tongue.
