The small group gathered into the black Audi and pulled out into the road. Finn placed his dark lensed aviators on the bridge of his nose and switched on the radio to a low volumed RnB station. The young blonde adjusted the rearview mirror, fixing the reflection on the white haired beauty resting in the backseat. Her tanned legs where folded neatly over each other, the white sequins of her strapless dress glimmering from the golden morning rays. She fiddled with her fingers, nervously and purposely avoiding the blue eyed boy's gaze. /div

Finn said, cocking a dark blonde eyebrow. Cake looked up, a bit startled at the bluntness. Never the less her bright brown eyes met the blonde's shaded ones. /div

She murmured, keeping her head tilted toward the white carpet. The tanned woman couldn't will enough courage to look up at the young blonde once more. Small tears pricked the back of her eyes, stinging them uncomfortably. /div

Jake replied, pulling off the black leather jacket and tossing it into the seat next to Cake. Said woman looked up into the brunettes darker brown eyes, making more tears well up in the caramel hues./div

She chocked over a sob, running the heel of her palm over the darkening circles under her eyes, catching the tears that fell. The woman pressed her palms into her closed eyes, willing those stupid tears away. Jake had glanced over to his brother with careful eyes, noticing his white knuckles from gripping the steering wheel to hard. Finn's face however remained as the same stoic expression he had been wearing since arriving to Lady's place. /div

Finn asked, his voice strained as his hands gripped to the wheel even tighter. He pulled the costly black car up the driveway, clicking the button on his sun visor to raise the garage door./div

Cake declared, slipping her purse onto her slender tan shoulder. The blonde nodded in agreement and pulled his car into the garage beside of his brother's yellow Chopper. The tan woman quickly opened her door before the car could come to a complete stop and promptly banged her knuckles against the trunk of the car. Finn audibly cursed at the woman under his breath, but popped open the trunk to make her happy. The blonde followed after her, only to stop once seeing his brother carrying the two bags she had brought toward the entrance. Finn rolled his ocean blue eyes./div

He muttered, walking into the kitchen. The blonde pulled off his sunglasses and placed them on the collar of his shirt and walked toward the fridge, grabbing the orange juice and placing it on the counter. The brunette politely pulled out a chair at the round dinning table for Cake to sit. Afterwards he made his way to the coffeepot, rummaged in the cupboards until he found the coffee grounds, scooped out the grounds and tossed them into a filter. Finn sat down next to Cake, who sat in discomfort while looking around the kitchen. After awhile of avoiding the blue eyed boy's gaze, her caramel orbs landed on the blonde. Said boy took a sip of orange juice from a red and white bendy straw, sucking it out a blue McDonald retro glass. Finn never really had a liking to the bitter taste of coffee and preferred the sour tangy taste of OJ. Cake cracked a small smile at him, taking in his presence and all the similarities he had with her sister. After a few moments she looked away, pain clear in her light brown eyes. /div

Jake asked, sitting a pastel green mug down in front of the white haired woman. She smiled at the brunette in thanks before using the silver spoon laying against the rim to stir the milk and coffee. Jake took a sip of his black coffee while Finn slurped his juice impolitely. After Cake took a small gulp of her own coffee she took a ragged breath and began her story. /div

Well the man had been on house arrest, some how the little asshat got rid of his ankle brace and had been spotted hanging out around this big house like building, better known as Richardio's little HQ. I told her I'd go with her, cause I never liked that guy, he's always to flirty around pretty women. Anyway, Fi wanted me to stay home just in case something else came in that was in or around Atlanta. I told her I would, and it was probably the worst mistake of my life. Before she left she promised me she'd call as soon as she got to her motel and that she'd go get the guy the next day. So after she left I busied myself with tidying up the apartment, I made lunch plans with some friends, just relaxed ya know? Fi would send me a few texts when she'd stop to get gas or take a piss break. Around midnight she called me and told me she had made it. We talked for about fifteen minutes. After that I went to sleep. I woke up from Fionna calling me. She told me she was about to head out and that she'd call me once she had gotten everything sorted out at the police station. After we got off the phone I started deep cleaning the apartment because when I'm nervous I clean like a maniac. So after awhile of being elbows deep in dirty laundry I checked my phone for any missed calls or text messages. There weren't any but it had been three hours since she had called. I just shrugged it off cause I know how much a pain in the ass the paper work is at the office. The next time I had glanced at the time it had been six hours since she called. I was getting worried then so I called her once but it went straight to voicemail. I left one and just kind of waited around a little bit to see if she'd call back. I fell asleep waiting and when I woke up I had immediately checked my phone. It had been eight hours. So I called her again, voicemail again. When I couldn't get ahold of her I got Monochro to tap into Richardio's data base to get to his security footage. But it made his computer crash and fuses blow. I waited for a whole day, seeing if she'd come up anywhere. I had called into the NYPD to keep an eye out for her. I started going through her stuff and I found a post card Jake had sent her from Miami with your address on the back. I got a few things together and tried calling her a few more times. I drove down here to Florida, went to the address and found Lady in that little office. She got ahold of you two and here I am." Cake took a breath, wiping at the tears that fell down her cheeks. Jake side glanced at his brother, startled at how pale his face had become. Before another word could be uttered, Finn stood and made his way up the stairs. He pulled a large duffel bag out from under his bag and began to stuff it with numerous things. A crisp suit and polished dress shoes. A few t-shirts and shorts. Then came the weapons and toiletries. Jake studied the items in his brothers bag before leaving to pack his own things. A few moments later the brothers jogged down the staircase and into the white carpeted living room. Cake sat on the single white leather recliner with her phone clutched in a death grip. Her eyes a bit red from crying./div

Finn smiled, holding his hand out for Cake. She hesitantly took it and stood to her feet. She gathered a bag on her arm and followed the two out to the garage. They stuffed their bags in the trunk and settled into the car and took off without a second thought./div
