They entered the grill and saw that it was packed because of Saturday night. They quickly found a booth and waited for Bonnie and Caroline. Matt came to take orders and saw Emma.
" Hey Elena. Who is this?" He asked glancing at Emma.
" Oh umm this is my distant cousin from my dad's side. Just visiting for a few days." Elena replied nervously.
" Oh I didn't know. Hi I am Matt Donovan." He introduced himself.
" Hii Matt. I am Emma" she replied smiling.
They shook hands and Elena told him that they were waiting for Caroline and Bonnie. Elena didn't missed how Emma was looking at Matt but tucked it in her mind to ask later as she saw Caroline approaching them. She sat with them and waited for Bonnie.
Just as they were discussing what to order they saw Kol and Klaus entering the grill and Elena panicked. Seeing this Caroline decided to distract Klaus and Elena and Emma will sneak away from the back.
Just as they decided this they saw both of the originals heading towards them. Elena again panicked but Emma reassured her by grabbing her hand and giving her a comforting smile and saw Caroline too giving her a reassuring smile. She relaxed slightly.
" Well hello ladies" Kol said as he came to stand with them.
" Hello love" said Klaus smirking to Caroline.
" Ooh its you. I thought it was a waiter coming to take our orders." Caroline said faking innocence.
" Aah Caroline lovely to meet you" smirked Kol and kissing her on her knuckles.
"Miss Gilbert Its a pleasant." Kol said kissing her on her hands too.
" And who are you pretty lady?" Kol asked Emma.
" ohh umm..." Emma stuttered. She was trying to wrap her mind around that they were not yet her uncles. Klaus just stood there watching her curiously.
" She is my distant cousin.Emma Gilbert ." Elena said.
" Ohh. Pleasure Miss Gilbert." Kol smirked and took her hand to kiss her knuckles. Emma wanted to laugh how Kol was behaving. She knew her Uncle Kol was the most naughtiest and the only one she had the most fun but also the most lethal.
" I think we should head out" Elena said.
" What's the urgency? Stay for a game of pool. I am sure your cousin would like to play." Kol said.
Just as Elena was going to deny Emma said yes. As they were heading towards the game Bonnie came in. She saw all of them together and panicked but collected herself and came towards them.
" Hii guys. Hi Emma" She said and then eyed the Mikealsons.
" And who might be this beautiful lady." Kol said .
Bonnie eyed him suspiciously but then gave her hand, " Bonnie Bennett" she replied.
"Pleasure to meet you Miss. Bennett. Beautiful as well as powerful." Kol said kissing Bonnie 's hand and smirked when she blushed.
Emma wanted to snort at that but she restrained herself. They all played some rounds of pool with Kol flirting with Bonnie and Caroline constantly insulting Klaus after he tries to flirt with her. After the games they went separate ways.
The guys headed towards the bar and the girls sat in the booth again.
The girls ordered their food and chatted quietly aware of the two originals. After eating peacefully they decided to head out. Emma saw Kol and Klaus leaving the grill and decided to follow them. She told the girls that she wanted to go to washroom and will meet them in the parking lot.
The three best friends left the grill and Emma sneaked away from the backside and tried to locate Kol or Klaus. She followed their trail and soon she was near the mansion. She got close enough and saw Kol and Klaus in their drive way.
She hid in the bushes and just as she took a step back she came face to face with none other than Elijah Mikaelson himself.
