Chapter IIII- Pain
-Luffy's perspective-
"LAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Luffy screamed as he jumped out of the crow's nest and grabbed Law, but was halted as a second cannonball smacked into him.
The crew jumped into action as they heard the cannon fire,
"SKY WALK!" Sanji shouted as he jumped through the air grabbing Law by the arm and kicking Luffy in the direction of the Sunny in an attempt to save him from falling into the sea, then jumping back to the Sunny and resting the unconscious Law on the floor.
Zoro had already leapt onto one of the approaching marines ships and has begun cutting a swathe in the ranks of the marine troops, running up the mast and leaping into the air he grabbed the white hilt of his treasured katana 'Wado Ichimoniji' he uttered the words of his attack "Ittoryu Iai, Shi Shishi sonson" and with one swift motion the marine ship was cleaved in two and Zoro leaped back onto the deck of the ship as Sanji was demolishing another marine ship.
For a moment…..the ship seemed at peace, all was silent except for the sound of marine battleships burning, until another battalion of ships began firing upon the ship and the crew leapt into action to protect the ship.
Luffy lay on the deck of the ship gasping for air, blood dripping from his mouth, normally a cannonball wouldn't have even hurt his rubber body, but these cannonballs were made from Kairoseki, the infamous, hard as diamond metal that shuts off devil fruit powers.
"Law!?" Luffy screamed, desperately looking around for Law. Upon seeing his love, he desperately crawled over to his blooded form, "Traffy! Are you okay?".
"*cough*, Do I look okay?" Law spluttered, spitting out blood. "The cannonball cracked open my ribcage and I think one of my arms have become dislodged….I can't move it"
BOOOM!
A volley of cannonballs smacked into the side of the ship causing it to lurch over to one side. Luffy managed to grab onto the ships railing but Law's broken body wasn't able to grab hold of anything so he tumbled over the edge of the ship into the water below.
"LAWWWWWW, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Luffy screamed diving into the waters in an attempt to save his partner, disregarding the fact he isn't able to swim…..
-Law's perspective-
'I don't know why the idiot did it, but he did' Law thought. 'He dived into the water; he knows he can't swim, so why would he do something so stupid?'
After being dragged out of the water Law lay on the deck once more.
"Why?" Law managed to splutter in between ragged breaths while Chopper inspected his injuries.
"I already told you" Luffy said, "Because I love you".

(Sorry this took agesssss, ive been busy and at a lack of ideas. But I decided to end it here, I hope you enjoyed it . I'll most likely be writing a new fic soon, probably Zosan or maybe another Lawlu.)
