Chapter 3

"She's fine. Well...relatively fine. She is in the room next door" Matthew answered for Arthur.

"I need to see her, now." I made a move to get up and out of the bed. My brothers both reacted and pushed me gently back down unto the bed.

"I don't think so. You were found at practically at death's door, and Felicia was worse yet! Neither one of you are up for moving just yet. I don't Felicia is even awake..." Arthur explained. Suddenly, one of the hospital nurses came in. "Oh good, you're awake. You're going to want to hear this."

I beckoned for the nurse to enter further into the room.

"Your friend has finally woken up. She is responding well to the treatment she has been receiving. It was touch and go for a while there, but that is to be expected considering how much blood she lost."

Before I could say anything, Arthur chimed in "That's good to hear. By any chance, do you know when my little trouble- er sister- will be able to go visit with her?"

"Your sister should be able to perform some movement on her own, but she will need a wheel chair to actually see her. Her friend is a little groggy because of the medications we have administered to her, so I would suggest waiting a few hours at least. One day or two would be the best though."

"Thanks for your help nurse. I'm sure my sister appreciates it." The nurse left the room and I turned to my brothers, a glint in my eye and a mischievous plan that I was just about to execute.
