Remembering You

Chapter 4

'Red eyes'

And that's the last thing she thought before consciousness left her.

"I will always be with you, Natsuki." A blurry image with only a prominent red eyes presented in front of a crying blunette.

"No!" The blunette sobbed.

"Hey, wake up..." A gentle tap of hand in her cheek woke Natsuki. She slowly opened her eyes and in front on her, a blonde-haired girl with blue eyes kneeled beside her. Clear worry covered the girl's face. "Are you okay? You're crying in your sleep."

"Crying?" Natsuki gradually raised her right hand and touched the wetness on her face. 'Why...am I crying?' She questioned herself obviously confused.

The blonde girl shook her head up and down. "Is your body hurting?" Natsuki didn't answer.

The blunette's mind is scrambled. Where is she? Who's the blonde girl? How did she get here? She has so many questions that made her head hurts.

To lessen the pain, Natsuki shut her eyes for a moment, calmed herself and took a deep breath. Then she eyed the young girl beside her.

"Who are you?" Natsuki asked.

"I'm Alyssa Viola. You?" Alyssa countered, smiling pleasantly to the blunette.

"I...I'm Natsuki Kuga." She stated hesitantly also giving smile of her own. "How did I get here and where am I?"

She directs her eyes to her surroundings looking all around the room for any clues as to what happened to her. The last thing she remember were two black men running after her and red eyes. 'Red eyes... Why does it seem so oddly familiar?' Natsuki thought as she cradled her head to ease the looming pain.

"Hello? Hey, are you really okay?" Alyssa asked as she waved her hand in front of the blunette, probably lost in her thoughts. Then a knock was heard. The blond girl hastily opened the door expecting it to be her brother.

Natsuki was distracted from her thoughts when the door in the room was opened by Alyssa and in came a chestnut haired guy still in his clothes as she last saw him. 'I remember, he saved me from those guys.'

As Shizuru, entered the room, he was glomped up by his sister. "How did it go, oniichan? Did you get accepted? Tell me. Tell me." Alyssa excitedly inquired as she freed her brother from her hug.

His oniichan, gave her a soft smile. Petting his sister's head, who clearly anticipates the result of his appointment, "What do you think Alyssa? Did you think that I won't get it?" Shizuru asked his sister with a tender smile on his face.

"I never have doubted you." Alyssa exclaimed as she launched another hug to her brother and was hugged back with Shizuru laughing as she toppled down from the force exerted by his sister.

As Natsuki observed the interaction between the blonde girl and the chesnut haired guy, she noticed the gentle features shown on the guy's face and you could really see that both do care for each other a whole lot. 'And add to it that he is drop-dead gorgeous. ' Natsuki was surprised at what she thought. She was here in an unknown place not even knowing the people inside, but all she think about is how touching the two in front of her interacts and how good-looking the guy who saved her is? Natsuki shook her head as realization sunk in.

When she returned her attention to the two people in front of her, her tongue got stucked in her throat and she even forget to breath.

While still in a hug with the young blonde, the fierce crimson eyes are staring straight at her. Amaze on how the guy suddenly changed moods. Very warm to the little girl just a while ago and she was now drowning Natsuki in a cold stare.

"How are you feeling?" He said formally with his face void of any emotion.

Alyssa remembered that there's another person with them that is still confused on what happened to her. She hastily turned toward the blunette in bed with the thought of answering the questions asked at her a little while back.

"Ah, I'm sorry about that Kuga-san. This is my brother, Shizu-niichan. He's the one who brought you here in our house when you're unconscious." Alyssa pointed to Shizuru, who is emotionless as possible and his crimson eyes still pierced through emerald eyes, as she introduced each other. "And by the way, you were unconscious for 8 hours."

Natsuki widen her eyes and gulped nervously as she looked at her obviously expensive silver wrist watch. 'Oh no! It's a quarter pass five already. I have been asleep for that long? What am I going to say to my mom?'

Her previous worries were thrown out the door when her emerald clashed with crimson; she hasn't met anyone like brunette haired guy before. The intimidation is very prominent. 'It's as if the world around me stopped moving when he stared at me. The feeling of fear and excitement rushing through my veins just from his stare.' Natsuki thought.

Shizuru took a step towards Natsuki still wearing the same facial reaction. "What's your name?" He asked the dazed blunette.

No answer was coming. "Liking what you see?" Shizuru huskily whispered to Natsuki's ears, then stepped back and smirked at his effect to the blunette, but deep inside him, there's something awfully familiar to what he said. It's like he had said it countless of time already and the green eyes in front of him brought a feel of déjà vu, that he's sure that he hasn't experienced. 'Why do I feel like I have seen those green eyes before?'

Meanwhile, as Natsuki heard the deep sensual tone of the guy in front of her, automatically, blood rushed into her head giving her a ripe tomato- face. There is something in his tone which screamed dangerous but at the same time... security? 'That is quite an irony. How could I feel in danger and safe at the same time and is caused by only one person?' Plus the words uttered to her gave her a nostalgic feeling. The blunette became more confused, the more she thought about it.

She cleared her throat as she shakes off her thoughts and answered the guy. "Umm... .Ah, sorry, I'm Natsuki, Natsuki Kuga."

Shizuru returned her face back to the way it was before. Emotionless. "You better go back to your house now. It's already getting late." He suggested to the blunette. "I will take you back. It would be quite dangerous for you, given the situation you have a while ago."

Natsuki's heart skipped a beat followed by a gradual hammering of her chest. She was not sure why, but the thought of the guy being with her a little while longer seemed appealing. She's not quite sure why the chesnut-haired guy she just met affects her greatly. "Okay." It's already too late when she realized what she had said.

At Natsuki's approval, Shizuru turned to his little sister. "Alyssa, I will just accompany this lady here to her home alright? You already know why. Don't allow anyone who's not me in the house. I would call if I would be very late. Understand?" Alyssa nodded eagerly to her brother's instruction. Shizuru fondly smiled at her reaction.

"Good." Shizuru said as he gently pat Alyssa's head. "Are you ready to go?" He turned his head and looked at Natsuki and saw her nod, all prepared.

The three of them make way to the door. Before the two young adults leaves, Shizuru gave Alyssa a kiss to her forehead and reminds her of what she should while he still hasn't got back. With a positive response from the blonde girl, the two proceeds to their destination.

Waaah! After 4 months, here it is guys, I've finished the Chapter 4 of the story. I've been so busy the previous month preparing for med school and here I am now taking break before going back to studying the 206 bones of the human body, not to mention the muscles attached too it and it's not even easy to say or memorize it. Like "Levator labii superioris", "Orbicularis oculi". Do they have simplier words? Honestly guys, why must our body so complicated? Who the hell named all the bones and muscles? Tell me!

Sorry to pour out my frustrations. Anyway, what do you think of this chapters? By the way, thanks for those who reviewed my previous chapters. There are some that doesn't like the idea of a mannish/guy Shizuru and there are some who does. As they say, you can't please everybody, but I still thank them for they take the time too review and gave me their opinions about it. Just stay tune to the story because there are some things that ought to surprise you. hehehe... Feedbacks are very much welcome:)
