Hi! Here is the fourth chapter. I am so sorry I took so long to update. I've been suffering terrible writer's block. By the way, I am still looking for a beta reader. And, thank you to QuillDestelloCipher for reviewing. It means so much to me! :-)
Clara quietly followed the Doctor. She had hardly said a word since The Doctor's change of mood. She was afraid that what she said would make the Doctor worse.
Finally, a certain blue box with the words, 'Police Public Call Box' emerged into view after some time of following the Doctor. Instantly, memories, both good and bad, flooded into Clara's mind. She smiled slightly.
The Doctor unlocked the door and stepped in. Clara followed silently.
Trying not to burst into tears, Clara savored the moment. She missed the familiar humming and green glow of the TARDIS. Although she had a TARDIS of her own, nothing could ever replace the TARDIS.
Clara chuckled. You hear that, Old Snogbox? she said to the TARDIS mentally. Nothing could ever replace you. The TARDIS hummed appreciatively.
"What's so funny?" she heard the Doctor's voice asked her. She pulled her head out of the clouds and replied, "Nothing."
'But I heard you laughing!" The Doctor said.
Clara rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She faced Merry. "How much time have we got?"
Merry didn't answer. She was staring at the TARDIS, speechless. Clara giggled and walked over to her. "It's alright. You get used to it."
Then the Doctor spoke up. "Jenna, could you go and get me something from the kitchen?" he asked.
Clara remembered she was Jenna. She walked to the corridor. "Alright," she said. "I'll be back in a minute." She walked through the corridor, praying the TARDIS wouldn't switch things up "a bit".
Clara relaxed. There was the familiar door to the kitchen, where it was when the TARDIS wasn't playing with her. Two lefts. one right, go right at the second blue trashbin, and then straight until you reach this door. She opened it, and then screamed. She was on the edge of a cliff!
She slammed the door. "You stupid old cow!" she yelled.
She turned on her heels, ready to go back to the console room. And then she paused. Where was the console room?
"Stupid Old Cow," she muttered.
So, sorry about the length! I was kind of bored and lazy. I will try to not let that happen again! I just really wanted a funny chapter. But, I swear, this chapter is absolutely necessary for the plot.
Also, I am going to do a POV chapter, but I'm not sure if I'll do The Doctor, or Merry, or both. Please tell me which you prefer.
One more thing: I will probably be updating a lot less frequent. Life is so stressful! And, oh yeah, I am still looking for a beta reader.
