"Damn" Lalna exclaimed as his quarry piping broke he searched his inventory for a pipe to replace it. None. Kim skipped into the room seeing Lalna bent over some piping she ran over and replaced the pipe "Thanks Kim" he smiled turning to face her and give her a kiss. "Hey no indecent activity in front of children" A recognisable voice broke them a part. They both turned to see Rythian with his arm round Amber. He gently pushed her forward. "Man she's grown since last time I saw her" Lalna smiled and Rythian returned it "When was the last time you saw her?" he asked "3 days after she had been born" Lalna mumbled. "Hey where are Liam and Jim?" Rythian asked mentioning their new born and their 4 year old. "Someone say our names?" Liam asked from the door. "I've been looking everywhere for you where have you been?" Kim asked rushing over to her sons.
Rythian jumped as his phone rang he picked it up "Yes, hello Zo, yeah it's me who else would it be. No way. I swear the doctor only said one was due. He did, then why have we got non identical triplets? Yeah see you tomorrow" Even though he was in the next room Duncan could hear him inside the sorting room. Rythian came back through his phone in his hand. "Triplets eh?" Kim grinned as Rythian smiled weakly back. "Daddy what's a triplet?" Amber asked with curious eyes. "3 babies born at once" Rythian explained as his daughter skipped over to the pipes and looked into them. "What they going to be called?" Lalna asked.
Duncan's P.O.V
Rythian leaned back and rubbed his forehead and let out a sigh "Not a clue, 5 kids jeez" he mumbled I patted him on the shoulder as I went to see what Amber was doing. "Hi Uncle Lalna" she grinned up at me we weren't really uncle and niece she just called me that. "What's that?" she asked pointing at an amber that was going through the pipe "That's an Amber used to make many things" her eyes lit up "please may I have it?" she asked blinking her big purple eyes up at me. I smiled "Of Course" I broke the pipe and handed the amber to her and placed the pipe back. "Thanks Uncle Lalna" she grinned skipping off holding it in her hands. Rythian looked up at me "You have a way with children I guess I'm too boring" he let out a low chuckle and I grinned.
"Liam why don't you go play hide and seek with Amber?" Kim suggested and Amber shot up and grabbed Liam's hand "LET'S GO" she yelled dragging him out of the room we all laughed. Kim went and put Jim to bed and returned a few minutes later. "What you going to do with 5 kids?" I asked him and he groaned again. "I look after Rafi and one new born, Amber looks after herself and Zoey looks after the other 2" He explained with a half-hearted smile. I placed a cup of beer in front of him "Thanks" he smiled. Something was off about the way he said thanks. "What's up?" I asked sitting down next to him. "We were fine with 2 but I don't think we're ready for 5" he sighed for the umpteenth time. "It'll work out eventually" I reassured him. His eyes flashed before he sat bolt upright "Rafi, AMBER COME ON we got to go, Thanks Lalna see you around" with that he and Amber left. "Well that was sudden" Kim commented as Liam entered the room. "Daaaaaaad can I go down into the beer cellar?" he asked me and my eyes shot open as Kim blushed, I shook my head at her.
"Adults only" I told him and he nodded. "Can we go to the End?" he asked looking up at me. "When you're older ask Uncle Rythian" I smiled caringly at him and he nodded. He ran from the room a smile on his face. "Woops" Kim smiled reaching my side. "He's too young to know about that stuff" I grinned down at her pulling her into a hug. "Come on its getting dark lets go to bed." I smiled and she skipped off to get into bed. I flew over to the tower that was once used by Kim to check on Liam who had put himself to bed. "Night" I smiled before flying to the bedroom me and Kim shared. I settled down next to her, she rolled closer. "I'm so happy Lalna" she smiled up at me. "I can see that." I grinned in reply as we settled into the bed. I stayed up reading a few books as Kim fell asleep I raced out of bed as the phone rang, it was Xephos "What is it mate?" I asked rubbing my forehead. "Sips reported seeing a fire from Honeydew Inc. I went to check and sure enough fire, I put out the fire but man these machines are a mess. I need to rush home and be with Lom. Can you sort it?" he asked his voice panicked. "Yup I'll be there in a second." I hung up and went back to the bedroom. I softly shook Kim waking her. "What?" she asked her eyes slowly opening to see me "There's been a fire at Honeydew Inc. and all the machines are a mess. Xephos has asked me to go and help. Will you be ok?" I asked and she nodded sleepily.
"Be back soon okay." She smiled at me and I kissed her forehead. I nodded and grabbed my coat then flew out into the darkness. Slowly I approached the factory hearing Xeph swearing. "I'll take it from here Xephos you go back to Lomadia" He looked up in relief. "I owe you one" he grinned then sprinted off. I smiled then turned to the machines.
