June 1997

Once they had gotten fairly settled into the new house, though everything that they owned was still in boxes because they had yet to paint they went to the hardware store. Tina was still sticking with the idea of a music themed room. They brought her through the paint section showing her all of her choices when she stopped and looked at her Daddy Sheldon who was holding her.

"I want walls this." She pointed to a glossy black color. "Okay sweetie of course, what else do you want on your walls?"

"Gold stars and music." Henry went and found a glossy white color they could make music notes with as well as some shimmery gold paint. "Do you like these colors Miss Tina?"

"Stars daddy, I needses stars." Sheldon handed Tina to Henry, who could barely hold her, and went to go find star stencils.

Once they had found everything that Tina wanted they went and got some paint for the rest of the house.

"Are you happy Miss Tina?" Tina looked up at them her brow furrowed and her lip out, "Piano." The two men laughed and checked out. Once they got Tina into her car seat she looked forward, "Piano." So instead of going to the furniture store like they had planned they took a detour to a place called Al Motta's Pianos. Henry was holding Tina as they walked in but as soon as they got there she wiggled out of his arms and ran away.

A young girl with red hair walked over to them, "Hi I'm Elizabeth Motta, are you two looking for a piano for a specific room?"

"Uh yes, our daughter Tina's room, she's three."

""How sweet is she here with you?"

"Uh yes she is asleep on top of that grand piano over there."

"Well, I think we found your piano!"

"I think we did!" before anyone could disturb her Sheldon and Henry went and took pictures of her so adorably asleep on a piano. Once they had paid for the piano and set us a date for it to be delivered Sheldon picked up Tina and put her in her car seat.

They started the hour long drive to the town where both the furniture store and the store where they planned to buy all of their decorative items. Half way into the trip Tina woke up. "Hey Miss Tee-Bee."

"Piano."

"Yes baby girl we got you a piano. Now we're going to get furniture and things like mirrors and pillows."

"Piwwows!" The two men laughed and Tina smiled putting her entire tiny fist into her mouth smiling. Tina was a tiny little thing, she was born healthy I guess, only three pounds and since that first lung infections she'd gotten ton of them, infections that is in her lungs, ears, sinuses, throat. She was very very small for her age; she only looked to be eighteen to thirty months.

It worried her fathers about how healthy she would be when she is older. She was only forty pounds and she had a lot of problems with her breathing but sitting in the back of that car she looked so happy and healthy.
