Chapter 4: Confrontation

After exchanging words with Axel, Saix went back to his room and saw that Luna was napping again. He snorted softly. That girl could sleep through a thunder storm. He sat down next to her and placed a hand on her arm, feeling the warmth of her flesh from his gloved hand. His chest filled with pain and he felt a jolt from where his heart used to be. What was this feeling so sudden and new? Luna was so beautiful and innocent, just like how she used to be. He longed to be part of her life like he was when he was a Somebody.

He remembered her as a sweet young eight year old and he was fourteen years old. It was a strange age difference, but it did not matter to him. In a matter of days, she would be of age and he could get together with her. Looking at her now, he saw how grown up she looked. She had the regular woman's figure—breasts and hips—but she had more padding on her body than Larxene and Xion, if Xion qualified as a girl. To him, it made Luna look more like a woman.

He heard a murmur come from Luna and pulled his hand back. She stirred and her hands lifted up to wipe her eyes. Her eyes opened and she looked up to see Saix staring down at her. She jolted and backed away from him, giving him a sour look. He knew she didn't want him there, but it was his room and he would do whatever he wanted. He placed a gloved hand on top of hers and bent to look in her eyes. Her blue eyes were cold and full of rage. He knew why. She wanted to go home.

"Take me home now, please," said Luna quietly, pulling her hand back from him.

He grabbed her hand again. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Luna," he replied curtly. "I simply want to observe you for a few days. You seem interesting to study."

Luna arched an eyebrow. "My parents will worry," she said coolly, giving him a look full of attitude. "Need I remind you, I'm seventeen years old and still under their jurisdiction."

"I shall inform them that the Organization is observing you," replied Saix tonelessly, not caring for Luna's surprised look.

"They won't let you," argued Luna, crossing her arms over her chest. "My parents will kick your ass."

"Us Nobodies are hard to beat," said Saix in a bored tone. "I'll tell them you're with friends."

With that, Luna let out a loud condescending laugh. "Friends?" she repeated in a derisive tone. "Bitch, please! We are far from friends."

Saix merely arched an eyebrow. "I won't say anything more until you learn how to keep your temper under control," was all he said before disappearing in a black corridor.

"Fuck you!" screamed Luna as he left. "Just fuck you, Saix!"

Xigbar chuckled as Saix walked into the gray room. When Saix gave Xigbar a pointed look, the eye-patched man gave him a smirk. "You have a way with women, Saix," commented Xigbar, shaking his head.

"Meaning what?" asked Saix dryly, crossing his arms over his chest.

"If you keep treating her like crap, she won't like you," replied Xigbar, arching an eyebrow. "Women with hearts are strange like that. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, as my dear old mom used to say."

"Why should I listen to you, Xigbar?" asked Saix argumentatively. "You probably have Syphilis as we speak. I hear you boast about you conquests, like it's something to be proud of. It makes you a whore."

Xigbar just broke out into guffaws of laughter, putting his hands over his stomach. "All I have to do is tell them what they wanna hear and I get into the panties," commented Xigbar proudly.

Saix scoffed. "Go to your mission, Number 2, before I consider killing you," growled Saix, feeling his inner Berserker twinge.

"Cute," said Xigbar as he disappeared into darkness.

Saix scoffed again, summoned a portal, and walked back to his room. He saw Luna sitting on the bed with her arms crossed over his chest. When she looked at him, he could see pure hatred in her eyes. It looked disconcerting with her bright blue eyes.

"Hello, Luna," he said calmly, looking a bit bored.

"Fuck off," she spat, scowling at him.

Saix clenched his fists to bite back his anger. "I come offering peace," said Saix as gently as he could.

"Screw you," she replied, turning her back to him. "Take your peace offering and shove it up your…" Before she could say more, Saix grabbed her and kissed her brutally.

A part of Saix enjoyed her volatile temperament. It turned him on a bit. It must have been the Berserker in him, the part that enjoyed roughness and violence.

Luna was fighting him but he took that as an invitation. He ran his hands down her back and pulled her flush up against him. It left Luna's arms trapped between her chest and his. He dug his fingers into her hair and forcefully pulled her head back. Luna let out a gasp as his lips descended onto her neck. A cry came from her lips as Saix's teeth sank into her skin. Luna was able to loosen her arms and placed them on his elbows, trying to push him away. Saix was stronger than her and he easily over-powered her. Finally, his teeth released her and he began licking at the wound.

"Ow…" whimpered Luna, squeezing his elbows. "What are you doing?"

"Marking you," he simply replied, resuming his licking. "Now, you are mine."

"Stop…" she whimpered, closing her eyes in pain. "Please…"

Saix finally pulled back and looked at the mark with satisfaction. Luna covered it with her right hand and tried to ignore the pain.

"Don't cover it," said Saix, removing her hand. "It shows that you are mine."

"It's degrading…" whimpered Luna, eyes full of tears. "How could you do that to me?" Her voice sounded pitiful.

"You're mine," he simply said, drawing her close to him. She could feel the warmth of his body radiating from him. Tears ran down her face and soaked into his leather coat. Saix weaved his fingers through her hair and sighed contently.

"Why do you hate me so much?" she asked him, shaking her head. "What have I done to make you want me?"

"You don't remember," remarked Saix, looking down at her. "You lived in Radiant Garden as a child. We were friends back then, until the darkness came and you were separated from us. You and your family were launched to a different world and your memories never recovered. Isa loved you."

Luna silently pushed away from Saix and a splitting headache made her double over. She fell to her knees as she cried out in pain. Images rushed through her mind: flowers, sweet-smelling air, a kindly old man named King Ansem the Wise, Isa, Lea, Isa giving her a kiss on the cheek when she handed him flowers, and laying in a field of flowers watching the sunset. Finally, the pain overtook her and she collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

Saix walked over, picked her up, and placed her on the bed. He stroked her bangs out of her face, bent down, and kissed her on the lips. When he got up, he turned and disappeared in a portal, thinking, She remembers. She'll remember me now. Thank Kingdom Hearts.

A/N: HO-snap! How's this gonna affect their relationship!? Holy crap!
