So I'm posting two today! Yea!
Sandy P.O.V.
While the others were pacing, I sat calmly, downing glass after glass of eggnog.
"Frostbite better hurry up! I have to get back to the Warren.: Bunny muttered, gripping his boomerangs tightly.
I was about to say (sign) something when Jack came speeding through the window.
"Sorry I'm late," he huffed, "I was messing around when I saw_"
"You couldn't be any faster?! While you were gone, the Man in the Moon sent as a message!" Bunny closed in on jack when North pushed them apart.
"Now iz not the time to argue. We muzt get to business. Then Jack can tell us where he was." He gave Jack a stern look and turned to Tooth and I at the Guardian's circle.
"The Man in Moon has given us more on this Nisus. Not only is he in charge of Hate, but Ignorance as well. Before you say anything there is more," He cuts off Jack, "when he poured his power over the children, he struck fear into their hearts, the fear of being hated; thus he brought back_"
"Pitch?!" Bunny exclaimed.
"Exactly! So it is we find Cherubis quickly. From what Man in Moon said, she will give us great advantage."
He clapped his hands together and turned to Jack, "Now! Care to explain why you were late?"
"I found her."
Everybody froze and Tooth said, "W-What?"
"I found Cherubis Di Angelo."
Bunny threw up his arms and exaspratedly said, "Where mate? Why didn't you say this earlier?!"
Jack sighed in frustration, "I saw her in Burgess and actually got within physical distance!"
As he explained his story to the others, I became more and more apprehensive as my thoughts flew quickly through my head.
From what Jack said, she seemed to be a usually stern girl. But she was caught off guard…why?
More to the point, why haven't I seen her dreams? Surely I've come across her before.
"It was weird, though, because when Nicki walked through her, she clutched her shoulder and left quickly when I gave her a concerned look."
North rubbed his chin, "Hmmm….where do you think she is now?"
Jack was about to answer when Tooth interrupted.
"What's that?"
She flew to Jack and picked up a small thing off his shoulder.
"Sandy," I looked up at my name, "can you identify this?"
I nodded and walked over to them. Taking the thing from Tooth's hand, I closed my eyes and observed it. In my mind, an image appeared of Cherubis with her wings protectively curled around a small girl, forcing something through her fingertips.
My eyes snapped open and I made a picture of her holding the small thing above my head.
"Sandy says it's her energy signature," North mused, "May I see that?"
I handed the signature to North and he walked toward the Globe, opened something and put the signature in it. Immediately, the Globe switched on to North America and a silver spot appeared on the Globe.
He looked up, "Burgess forest."
There was silence. Then Bunny said, "Well? Any ideas?"
Suddenly, something flashed in my head and I raised my hand. They nodded and I began to show my plan. At the end, North said, "I couldn't have said it better myself! All right everyone! Let's get to work!"
