Chapter 4: Fashion Fever

The grass was green and lush as newly laid carpet, so soft and deep it moved in the gentle breeze like a wave. Iris moved through the green hill, in a large pink gown with a tight-laced up top with long building sleeves. It looked like she was dressed to go to the Renaissance Festival, and despite its shape and size. She moved about the outdoors fairly comfortably. She looked around for someone though she couldn't find them, she felt like she needed to call out their name, though the precise combination of sounds escaped her. Looking up the hill she saw an extravagant castle both building and tree with a massive blue Crystal sprouting from the top of its trunk, it reminded her of ancient castles on earth. An animalistic roar along with the sound of clattering bones, she turned her gaze back down to the bottom of the hill.

She gasped as at this the sight she beheld.

A woman with unkempt curly dark hair, dressed in a muddied sky-blue dress dance with a creature with the body of a gecko and the head of a lion. A small group the creatures that looked like piles of stones held together by thorns and vines clapped and danced around the pair.

"Sister!" Iris called to the woman as she stomped down the grassy hill.

The lion headed creature in the plant still constructs bolted into the trees and deep underbrush of the forest. Clearly frightened by her, and briefly wondered why such monstrous creatures would flee like frightened children at her, especially in this pink cloud of a dress.

"Oh hello there!" The woman gave a warm smile "You must be quieter; you'll never be able to join my party's if stomp around like that."

Iris crossed her arms; she knew that the other female had done something wrong. Though whatever that could be was a foggy cloud, it felt like she was playing a character without a script.

The girl with the wild curly hair did a quick spin as if she was still dancing with the creature before heading over to a shady tree "Come, sit." She sat down by the roots of the tree not caring that the hum of her blue dress getting more dirty

With an exasperated sigh, Iris went to set the inside her. Her dress puffing out light a blooming rose as she sat "Why do go and play with monster's in the forest?" She asked the woman "Why not with the animals in the zoo or the stable? So, you can play with Fallon, Tamara, and I." Iris did not know the other two female that came out of her mouth. Though when she concentrated on the more, she knew that they were her best friends, almost like sisters to her just like the wild haired woman she was talking to now.

"Because I don't connect with any of the tamed animals in the palace." The woman tried to smooth out the chaotic mess of her hair "When I inherit the Sun Stone from mom. I will need someone to share my power with, and I'm not ready to get married." She gave a playful chuckle looking at Iris "As for the creatures that live in the forest, they are citizens of our Kingdom and it would be good for us to do more for them."

"Even the trolls and the dragons?" Iris shivered, disgusted at the thought.

The woman smiled and gave a nod "Most especially them." Before lightly tapping Iris on the nose.

Iris opened her mouth to speak once more, but the shadow of a man dressed in chain mail with a dark green cape caught her attention

"Your highnesses! The king and queen request or audience immediately!" The imposing guard shouted down at them before turning back over the hill.

A mix between wariness and exhaustion painted the dark-haired woman's features as she made her way up the hill. Iris taking more time to stand up and not get dirty, followed after the other woman. As she passed over the hill, Iris is close changed to a simple outfit with have the horse-riding boots. She also felt strangely tolerant.

When she entered the castle's throne room. A mind-boggling sight beheld her; it wasn't the type of throne room she would expect for the castle, but instead was the throne room in the Ephedian Castle. Standing by the throne was her mother and father and even more shockingly Gramorr, each of them looking down at the dark-haired woman who was draped in a long red cape.

"No." The woman shook her head, her hair bobbing like a Bush in the wind "Please you can't listen to him." She begged.

Gramorr raised a hand as if the silence the woman "My visions are never wrong; the land would be put in great danger if you had the Sun Stone. By the ancient right, that means you cannot be queen."

"It brings use a great deal of distress to dear Kara, we have planned for you to stay in the Château on Razorback mountain. We know how fond you are of the red dragons that roost there." Iris his mother said gently, as if trying to appease her.

"What will I do that is so bad for me to be exiled now? Can I not be granted the Heart Stone or the Moonstone, or be granted the power of any of the of the other eight gemstones that are representative of our family." The dark-haired woman looked between the three before glancing back at Iris sadly.

The three adults stared down a motionlessly at Kara, as if silence was the only appropriate answer for the woman's plea.

The wild haired woman clenched her fists as she glanced around the room "This is injustice!" She shouted as she shrinks into her red cape "Your vision is wrong, and you will regret having me banished." She hissed at Gramorr pointing a finger at him before rushing out the door.

Iris rushed after the woman, though as she did the environment around her began to shift and change as everything got brighter. So bright that she had to open her eyes.

"umm." Iris grumbled as she tossed a bit in her bed before looking at the window, his light was pouring in over her face "What was a strange dream Rosie." She said to her magical plant, which bobbed happily in response to her voice "It reminds me of Talia's story on the history of Jewlrestdom." As she recounted the images of her dreams, she rationalized that would have to be the case. After all, you only see people you know and dreams, and even though she didn't know the curly haired woman in her dreams perhaps it was just a random person see had seen before.

As she got dressed in ready for the day the events in the dreams felt like a fuzzy memory. Though the corner of her eye she could us were at the shifting of a shadow outside her window, but just pass it off as her plant being little too active.

Then with a smile on her face headed downstairs and said "Morning guys." Then when she peered down into the kitchen. Her smile got wider "You're back!" She said seeing Carissa and Lyna.

"Yuppers. Just in time for breakfast." Carissa smiled, putting a fork in a strawberry covered pancake.

"So, what's the plan?" Taila smiled as Iris sat at the table of the other four girls.

"Well we already found some Oracle Gems, and the twins and the knight have them and giving us any trouble." Iris said not sure what they do with the rest of her day.

"I don't like it when things are quiet." Carissa mumbled "The bad guys could be planning something." She spoke up a little louder "Like what if…"
Iris his voice cut her off "Lev!" The blonde-haired girl shrieked.

Auriana jumped up and shouted "Where!" Giving out a startled noise as if she had seen a spider.

Iris quickly ran out the back doors and onto the dock, following the shadow of who she thought was Lev. Though as she looked around, she couldn't find any hint of him anywhere, her friends quickly surrounding her in defensive positions ready to be attacked.

"I thought I saw him." Iris blue eyes fell to the water, she was sure that that Lev through the back door or window at her.

"Iris, you must've saw something else." Taila said putting a hand on Iris's shoulder.

"I guess I did." The blonde-haired girl nodded "I guess I must be nervous about how calm things have been."

"Let's do something to keep your mind off it." Layna said trying to think of something that would cheer her up.

"Shopping!" Auriana's orange hair bobbed as she hopped "I lost my flower clip, you know the one I bought to remind me of the gardens back home, I was hoping we could find another one."

"Sure!" Iris said as she turned and headed back into the house.

The team got their purses and shoes and anything they else out like they needed. All the while a little on edge, though each of them not wanting to ruin, the other is mood said nothing. Iris in particular decided to keep quiet about the strange shadows and noises that she could barely register, trying to justify it as sleepiness she hadn't yet shake off. When the group finally left the house, fences and light posts were covered with paper flyers. White and green papers fluttering everywhere, with large printed words of sale and other vague advertising words.

"Wow!" Was all Layna could say at the mess in the neighborhood around the house.

"I've heard of aggressive advertising, but this is just littering." Taila said looking distastefully at the flyers.

Auriana on the other hand picked up one of the loose flyers "Ooh!" She cooed and waive the flyer to her friends "It's a grand opening sale, when you buy one item you get five for three."

Iris tilted her head skeptically at the orange haired girl's statement "That sounds like going out of business sale."

"Either way it's a good deal, let go!" Auriana jumped eagerly.

With a nod Iris relented and the group of girls went to the location on the flyer. When they arrived, there was a huge crowd of people lining up a few feet around the entrance of the store. On closer inspection they realize the location on the flyer wasn't a normal storefront, but the abandoned warehouse that Mephisto would Praxina with stage attacks.

"Why would anybody want to boutique here?" Carissa asked slightly suspicious about the location.

"It's super busy." Lyana was more focused on the crowd. However, "I hope the poor storeowners aren't getting robbed."

Too eager to care about the crowd or the location Auriana rushed through the crowd of people "Shopping." She whined as Talia and Iris pulled her back and made her wait with the rest of the group.

Several moments passed and then they were finally allowed into the store, inside frantic crowds picking over pieces of clothing and jewelry. Despite the shopper is taking as much as their hands could carry, the items were being quickly restocked by a grumpy looking store clerk.

"Hey there!" Another store worker approached the girls happily "It's so nice to see you, super busy here can I help you find anything!"

"Where do you keep your hair clips and barrettes?" Auriana asked.

"Hoho this way pretty lady." The employee asked in a familiar, happy voice before leading though orange haired girl out through the crowds.

Iris glanced around and noticed that the rest the girls had drifted off something catching each of their interests. Not to be left alone she followed after Talia, following the honey eyed girl to an open box of jewelry.

"Look at these bracelets." Talia held up some jewel encrusted bangles with interest.

Iris looked at the bracelet, and couldn't help but think that something was wrong with the jewels that were stuck into the piece of jewelry. Like the gems of originally a part of the bracelets design "Uhm." The blonde said before giving a smile "It looks really good on you." She didn't want to deter Talia from buying something if she wanted it, knowing how conservative the girl was of her money with anything that wasn't for performances.

"Look at these cool earth glove." Carissa walked up to Iris and tell you wearing deep purple fingerless gloves. Accented with the same jewels that were on Talia's bracelet.

Iris is going to mention the similarities between the two items her friends had picked out but just before she did Auriana came over.

"Iris look I found another hair clip. It's so sparkly." Her green eyes lit up as she a hair clip with a starlight pattern each corner of the stars flashing with the stranger gems that Iris kept noticing.

"What type of rhinestones are those?" Iris asked her trying to hide her suspicion of the hair clip.

"Who cares! They're so sparkly" Auriana dismissed Iris's question with a happy giggle.

Iris nodded and went off to find the last member of the group, curious of what she must be up to " Lyna how are you doing?" She asked, seeing her holding a box.

Lyna smiled eagerly and opened the box to reveal to the jeweled sandals that matched her outfit.

Iris smiled not even blinking at the gems on the shoes "You want those sandals?" she asked disregarding

"Oh, please Iris." Lyna asked in her kindest tone, truly enchanted by the pair of shoes.

"Aren't you going to get anything?" Talia asked, looking at Iris as the rest of the group made there way through the crowded shop.

"No, I've got enough stuff at home, maybe I'll buy something from this place later." Iris answered not really comfortable shopping in a store that she had battled the evil twins in.

Her friends nodded before heading over to the register, paying their items as the blonde-haired teen note went to wait for them outside. The line for the register was long and slow, it's clear the person who is running the register didn't know how to run a register and bag items.

When they finally got to the register and paid for their accessories. The clerk said "Okey-doke, would you like me to back these items or will you be wearing them out."

"Of course, will wear them out!" Auriana said more eager to get out of the noisy store then to show off her new hair clip.

"So, what do you guys want to do now?" Iris asked as the four other girls approached her, each of them wearing their jewel encrusted items.

"I don't know about you guys but I can feel like going home and taking a nap?" Talia let out a massive yon as the group began to walk down the sidewalk, her bracelet jingling slightly against her arm.

With hair clip glittering besides her ponytail Auriana said "No way we have to go to all the best spots in Sunny Bay and take Selfies, especially of me with my new hair clip!" She let out a high-pitched squeal as she hopped on her tip toes like a board child

"Your scream got into my personal bubble." Carissa hugged herself leaning away from the green-eyed girl's outburst.

"Let's all get smoothies, then we can go home or take pictures, or something like that." Iris offered to trying to mediate the conflicting desires of her friends.

"I second that, I could go for a nice cool drink right now." Lyna said with a big smile.

Relived that Lyna was on her side Iris led the way to the smoothie bar. Despite being slightly off put by the new store opening and the strange gems, they seem to sell on everything. She was super happy that her friends had a good time, and now as they made their way to the smoothie bar. She was slightly excited to see Nathaniel again.

A small chime rang out as he opened the door to the smoothie bar, it was a little after noon and it wasn't as busy as the store, they were shopping in. They made their way to the counter, each of the five girls eager to make in order.

"Hi girls, but can I get for you all?" Nathaniel said from across the bar waiting to them.

"A small cup of lavender tea." Talia said moving to a seat, her eyes opening and closing as if she could barely stay awake.

"I want a strawberry banana mango smoothie with a fruit wedge and umbrella, make it look super photogenic." Auriana said almost very demanding before taking a picture.

"ugh… Ice water. Please." Carissa groaned as if she was getting a headache as the boy's eyes fell on her.

"You want hibiscus tea right Lyna." Nathaniel said looking at the long-haired girl.

"No!" Lyna look defended.

Slightly confused at Lyna's desire to change her usual order of flowery teas "Oh, then what would you like?" Nathaniel asks.

"A large frappe mocha with extra cream, and three large macaroons. Please." The purple eyed girl said with a hungry expression.

"We only have small macaroons." Nathaniel corrected her.

Embarrassed Lyna said "Oh, then six of those."

"Okay... Iris?" The brown-haired boy looked to his childhood friend.

Embarrassed and concerned for her friends as well as flustered by her crush looking at her Iris muttered out a "Oh the usual."

With a concerned expression Nathaniel looked at the five girls. Then went off to fulfill their orders "Here you girls go." He came back and gave their drinks to a somewhat apathetic response from half of them.

As the girls enjoyed their drinks Missy Robin's came in, the dark-haired girl giving a glower at the five girls that came in before her. Lyna returning that the nasty look and subtly used her magic to make Missy a trip.

"Ekke!" Missy flopped to the floor, letting out a gasp of air as she seemed to have tripped on nothing.

"oh ops!" Carissa said very loudly before elbowing her glass of water, making it spillover Missy's head.

Missy stood up her yellow eyes wide as her makeup dripped down her soaked face, she looked angry at them before running back outside.

Iris stood up confused and shocked as her friends laughed at what they did to the girl "Missy, guy." She looked at the four of them with their nonchalant smirks.

The other princesses just smirked and gave nonchalant shrugs, as if Iris was the one who didn't quite get the joke.

"This isn't right." Iris whispered under her breath; her friends weren't acting right. Though she had no clue what happened to them.

"What's wrong Iris?" Talia was the gold eyes watched Iris, a dark aura dancing under her sleepy expression.

Iris shifted nervously as she watched all her friends, noticing the deviousness in their concerned and questioning expressions. Something was very wrong, and slowly Iris backed away from her friends.

With a concerned look Auriana stood and approached Iris with an out stretched hand. A munching aura lashing out of the orange haired girl like an unseen spell.

"I got to go!" Iris ran out of the building, leaving her friends standing there with a wide range of concerned and confused faces as they stared at each other.

Iris ran around the town, not feeling safe going back home, but not feeling comfortable stopping anywhere else. She saw the shadows of Lev, her friends, Mephisto and Praxina whenever she slowed down to catch her breath. Despite her struggles not to slow down, she eventually stopped and collapsed on a park bench. Her eyes filled with tears at how foolish she felt something bad had happened to her friends and she had run away and set of figuring out a way to help them.

Out of guilt she retraced her steps back to the last time she remembered her friends behaving normally, at the entrance of the new store that had opened up in the warehouse. The crowd had disappeared and the street surrounding the building was covered with letter from clothing bags and wrappers. Despite the very feeling in her stomach she needed answers, believing it must've been the ominous stones on every piece of clothing and accessory the store had sold had something to do with her friends change.

"Hello." She said walking into the dark room, and gasped and hid behind a small wall of boxes.

Mephisto and Praxina were standing in front of a tall crystal pillar, clearly contacting the evil wizard they served. Iris did her best to not to move and give her hiding spot away, listening as carefully as she could as the three of them talked.

"Everything is going according to plan." Praxina was the first to speak.

There was a brief chattering from the sky imps before Mephisto could get a word in. Eventually, saying "The clothes we stole and infected with the dark crystals you gave us have been distributed to the majority of the humans in the town. Those who have multiple items will be compelled to give some of them away. So, even more humans will be controlled by us very soon."

Iris's blood felt very cold at the realization of the type of danger Sunny Bay was in.

"Don't forget the best part, the princesses fell for our trap to, only four of them. Though I'm sure they'll bring the fifth one to us very soon." Praxina said, sounding smugly pleased.

"Excellent." Garmorr spoked giving a wicked hiss.

Iris shook her head sadly; her worst fears being confirmed. She let out a choked sob unable to think of how see was going to save everyone all on her own.

"So why are we hiding?" The voice of Auriana made Iris jumped to her feet.

Around the blonde girl stood the other four princesses, fully transformed into dark mirrors of their true magical forms.

Before Iris could think of is spelled to keep them back Iris was restrained by Talia and Auriana.

"All the princesses are here!" Mumble let out a cheer seeing the five girls, the Emperor waving its tiny arms to get Mephisto's attention.

"Even, better than I expected." Garmorr nodded "I'll prepare a portal spell, standby and keep our guests entertained." The dark crystal wizard said before his image disappeared from the pillar.

Iris sturguled in the grip of her corrupted friends, she needed to get away so she could transform and find a way to free them. Flinching, she stepped on Talia's foot, startling the girl just enough for her to slip in arm out and push Auriana away.

"Vistorus!" Iris is brief moment of freedom was short lived as Mephisto and Praxina cast a spell that trapped her in a dome of dark crystal.

"Aw you look so lonely in there." Praxina knocked against irises cage "The wittle leader princess betrayed by all her little Princess friends." She teased as the corrupted versions of irises friends laughed along with her.

"We've got a couple scarfs left if you want to join them." Mephisto offered his tone menacing.

"Join them! Join them!" The three imps sheared echoing the sorcerer.

"Never!" Iris pound against her cage to angry at the twins to properly use a spell to break out.

The twins and the four princesses laughed, at Iris's anger and distress.

"We will give a few minutes of alone time to rethink that." Praxina said before teleporting away with her brothers.

Iris's best friends, now turned evil by the dark crystals they wore suddenly turned their backs on her. Standing guard waiting for the twins or Garmorr to return.

"Guys." Iris spoke to her friends.

None of the other girls replied, all of them giving her nasty looks as if she was the one that did something wrong.

Iris's blue eyes began to water once again as her fist's clenched "Please fight whatever has gotten a hold of you!" She tried to plead with the good that was still left in the other four girls "Talia, Auriana you've fought this type of corruption before, fight again!"

Talia, yawned before putting up her hand and saying "Crystal Levare." A crystal platform forming under the dome Iris was trapped in lifting it up all the way to the metal rafters near the ceiling.

Tears fell down Iris's face as the images of her friends got smaller and smaller as she was put away out of earshot like an annoying toy.

The red imp Snarl buzzed around Iris's cage "Not going to friendship, friendship, friendship, out this one!" he laughed at her.

"Just give up, master might want to you as a pet instead of that human girl he let get away." Jumbled flooded up to her his tone a mocking imitation of helpfulness.

"Go away!" Iris's scream sent the two imps, is it thing off out of the building.

Frustrated and distressed. Iris summoned up a small crystal shard and thrusted it against her prison, this attempt, accomplishing nothing but shattering the small pink crystal.

"Those imps are right you know." A strong masculine voice whispered to her.

"Lev." Iris whispered, her heart flipping with hope and despair. Seeing the outline of the snowy haired boy "I knew I saw you earlier today."

"I was going to talk to you, but your friends didn't give me an opportunity." He whispered crouched like a resting bird on one of the metal support beams.

She stood up narrowing her eyes to get a good view of him "I need to save my friends and the rest of the town."

"That's going to hard, Gramorr had a very complicated corruption spell put on those crystals." His blue eyes glanced down at the four corrupted princesses, who had not yet noticed him "It might take weeks to bring the friends you knew back, let alone all the other suckers that are wearing the infected objects."

"We have to do something." Iris raised her voice slightly.

"I'd be happy to help." Lev's voice showing the smugness of the smirk that was sitting in shadow "If I get a little something in exchange."

Iris shook her head "What could you possibly want, that's on earth? Money?" She felt like this could be another trap, but knowing the predicament, she was in it looked like Gramorr had already won.

"A favor, I help you with this little problem. You help me with mine." Lev said as if was asking for something as simple as a glass of water "Deal?".

"Deal." It was a massive gamble, but it was something she had to risk.

The shadow of Lev nodded as he jumped down to confront the other four princesses, quickly summoning a bolt of magic crystals as soon they noticed him. The mind-controlled princesses swiftly attacked him, Lev becoming a breath away from getting hurt every second.

Iris, knowing that the distraction Lev had given her was limited. She called out "Iris Princess of Ephedia !" Transforming and using the full extent of her magic to break out of her prison. She fell and rolled to soften the impact, quickly casting a defensive wall of pink crystal.

The princesses that were under the control of evil magic let out startle noises before, making attempts to break and scale the structure.

"Come on!" Lev said pulling the pink haired Princess along, helping her out of the hallway and out into the streets.

Iris looked around same people who mimicked their daily lives, none of them paying attention to her and her bright sparkly outfit or even Lev "All these poor people." She said to her eye catching the glint of dark crystals that controlled their minds. She could not fathom any way to free them all without the help of her friends, if all the princesses converged their magic of the right spell. Maybe she could free their minds like the many times they had a free their bodies from blocks of crystals.

A man who had been jogging down the street towards them suddenly stopped going stiff like a statue and then brushed towards the two. A snarl all twisting his features as he attempted to throw a punch at Lev, the man's muscles and speed enhanced with the dark crystal magic that possessed him.

The snowy haired blonde used his magic to stop the human freezing the man in place. "Here." He said to Iris, focusing on keeping the man frozen in time.

"What do I do?" Iris said, her eyes quickly falling to small golden chain with the dark crystals around the man's wrist.

"Figure out a counter spell." Lev rolled her eyes, irritated that he had to explain that to her.

"Crystal…" Iris summoned up to her magic circle trying to focus on the negative energy that had possessed the man "Crystal Reparo Solvenda." She spoke a combination of two spell she thought it might work, and it did penetrating the gems murky black aura. Though when she thought she had gotten to the point where the man would've been free of the spell. There was a blockage, Iris immediately knowing that there was a specific counter spell for the dark crystals. She focused, knowing that she couldn't give up and it would be only a matter of time before the twins and her corrupted friends from them again. In her worry and fear she noticed something a burbling hum like a river of underground Springwater moving under her own magical power. Willing to take a chance she focused on that other magical power and as she focused on it. It became a rushing waterfall and she had to ring back her thoughts in order to funnel the magic she had tapped into to the barrier that was stopping her spell.

The crystal on the golden chain cracked and Lev let of the man "uh." The jogger looked about confused.

"Let's go." Lev said running away from the dazed human.

Iris shook her head her mind still spinning from the power she used to counteract the possession spell, it was clear she had done something more than just combined two spells. It was almost as if she broke a rule in order to free the man from the dark crystals, and yet she couldn't put her name on what she had done.

Lev suddenly stopped seeing the form of Auriana coming toward them, the Princess of Volta jumping on rooftops to track them down "Can you do that again?" He asked Iris seeing how she was still a little out of it from her first attempt at the spell.

Iris came to her senses just in time to see Auriana jumped down from the rooftops using her ribbon like a whip down at her and Lev. Barely having a second to react they both managed to dodge the ribbon of Volta.

"Hiya!" The orange haired Princess said as she reached corrected the ribbon readying to slash it at the two uncorrupted and magic wielders.

"Let's hope so." Iris said as she dodged another attack.

Lev nodded not staring a single second and using his ability to freeze the Volta Princess in place.

"Crystal Reparo Solvenda!" Summoning up her Magic Circle Iris concentrated in breaking her friend out of the trap she was in, but there was a lot more resistance then before "Come on Auriana ."

The dark crystals on the hair clip broke and the green-eyed girl blinked before asking "What?" She around confused why she was transformed "What happened?"

Iris watched Lev put a finger to his lips as he went out as site, it would be clear that the blue-eyed magician would be helping the two princesses from a far from now on "I'll explain later. We've got help the others!" Iris said running down the street, with most of the town affected it wouldn't be safe for them to stay in one place.

Talia then appeared shambling like a zombie half awake "Crystemsabrus." She said holding up her staff, the crystal orbs on each end fanning out into razor sharp sites.

"Hold her still." Iris told Auriana, hoping Lev still be able to help her save the rest of her friends.

Within seconds Talia stumbled as if being hit in the back by a bolt of crystal, leaving her open to be wrapped up by the Voltan princesse's ribbon.

"Crystal Reparo Solvenda!" This time spell is a lot more easier, Iris being able to sense the presence of Talia beyond the barrier of possession actively fighting against its hold.

"Wha?" The honey I'd Princess shook her head as she untangled herself from the orange ribbon and looked at the other two princesses.

Neither Iris or Ariana had time to explain as mint green bolts of Crystal rain down from the sky, Lyna using her magic of flight to try to get an advantage over the trio and their hidden ally.

Talia used her staff like a platform allowing Ariana to jump upon it.

The green made a Princess then used her magical ribbon to wrap it around the leg of Lyna, pulling the airborne girl to the ground.

Lyna tumbled to the ground stunned by the joint attack, the circlet she used to allow her to fly shrinking to its normal height.

Iris dipped down into the rushing river of magic and shouted "Crystal Reparo Solvenda!" Pushing against the barrier that held the true version of her friend.

"Oh my, what happened?" Lyna shook her head and said "Where's Carissa?" Noticing the missing member of the group around her

"You guys got corrupted by the twins." Iris explained to her friends in the simplest way she could.

"I knew my new hair clip was to good to be ture." Auriana said deeply disappointed

"Let's go."Lyna sad face serious expression "Carissa is still evil or whatever."

The four princesses searched all over town, ending up having to retrace their steps back to the warehouse.

They found her, sitting on the floor the Princess of Calix in the same place Iris had seen her standing guard "Nope." Carissa jumped up seeing them, darting away as if she was aware of their intentions.

The corrupted version of Carissa, was slippery and non-combative dodging every attack, desiring nothing more and then to escape the box of the other four princesses that was closing down on her.

"Don't touch me." Carissa not even trying to attack dodged and jumped around, clearly distressed by anyone coming near her "Personal space! Personal space!" Her voice becoming more frantic as the four princesses created walls of crystal around her.

Seeing how the purple dressed Princess was caged in Talia said "Now Iris!"

Iris seeing her cue channeled her energy into the area where Carissa was standing "Crystal Reparo Solvenda." Following the flow of magic Iris snap the spell on the gems controlling her.

"Oh." Carissa rubbed her head before looking up at the other four princesses "I don't know what happened, but I'm so happy to see you guys."

The five girls hugged happily, Iris feeling a great sense of relief that all her friends were together again. Even though she couldn't see Lev, she was grateful that he had decided to help her when she needed it the most.

Lyna was the first to break the hug did and gasped "What about all the other people?"

"Let's converge our magic and do the spell Iris did to save us." Auriana said, gripping her wand nervously.

"Wroth a shot." Talia shrugged, the honey eyed Princess at a loss for answers.

Together, the five princesses linked hands as their magic circles overlapped one another.

"Crystal." Iris took a deep breath, even though she had done this spell on the other four princesses. She did not know if she could go to that place where magic existed the knee what she knew of a spell of converged magic "Reparo." Closing her eyes. The pink haired Princess concentrated as she said "Solvenda!"

The magic of the five princesses flowed throughout the town. Iris is consciousness flowing with the other magic like a wave breaking the blockages that would stop the princesses fell from working. It felt exhilarating. Though she knew she had to concentrate knowing if she got distracted and the pull of the new power, she found she wouldn't be able to save everyone affected by Garmorr's. Within a second. The extent of their spell had ended and dissipated, the conversion of their magic reaching every possible corner of Sunny Bay though each of the girls panted as if they had been fighting for hours.

"Eek!" Lyna let out a disgusted squeal as if she had seen another dewizzel.

Lev moved out of his hiding place his hands up in surrender "Settle down, I help Iris save you guys." His eyes fell on the pink haired Princess's voice becoming more serious "Now for my part of the deal."
