AN:Still don't own TWD
Omega watched as a man entered Atlanta on horseback wearing a uniform and a bag of guns. Curious she followed via rooftop, disillusioned of course, and waited for him to realize he was walking into quite the ambush.
She glanced at the building across the street as she heard the shot from inside the tank, she could make out the form of the Asian she had seen a few times running around. As she looked back down at the trapped officer she noticed the top opening and that the man came out swinging a shovel to the face of the infected. She couldn't help but admire his precision in shovel or shooting as he made his way towards where she knew the Asian was waiting.
Curiosity getting the better of her she focused on the roof where she could see Merle aiming his rifle, she cleared her mind then with a wave of her wand a ghostly image of herself formed before her. She smiled at a job well done and sent it to the roof knowing none of the survivors from that group were magical and wouldn't be able to see the projection, thus allowing her to spy in relative peace.
The world tilted briefly as her projection realigned with her body, she had waited on the roof for three hours for someone to come back, not that she really would blame them if they had taken the chance to get the asshole out of their hair. She sighed as she began to make her way down and across the street.
As Merle sat chained to the roof cursing Rick and talking to invisible people, he didn't see the female calmly walking towards him. He did however feel when he was hit with a cooling blast and then promptly pitched over and purged all the toxins from his body. He then looked up to see the slightly blurry image of a dark haired female. He promptly passed out from the purging, the female barely caught him before he fell into his own vomit.
Omega sighed as she looked down at Merle, she just had to save him she shook her head as she vanished the foul puddle beside them. She then leaned down to undo the cuffs and heal Merle's wrist. She then levitated the sleeping man and began her way back to the office she had been squatting in.
Once there she did a diagnostic of the elder Dixon only finding sun damage as his only real aliment now that she had rid him of all his self-induced sickness. So she quickly performed the necessary spells before leaving him to sleep it off.
Merle woke slightly groggy, but feeling better then he had in years which put him on edge when he remembered the blurry individual that he saw before passing out. He rose up off the couch he had been laying on and looked around. He saw that he was in some kind of swanky office and that there was a fresh set of clothes laid out for him as well as a basin of warm water, soap and a washcloth. He was about to just leave when he looked down at his previously raw wrist to find it unmarred, he got up and got to washing. When he was finished he stepped out of the door to find a waiting area that had been converted into an apartment, there was even a coffee maker and there was a fresh cup with a note that said "for Merle". He figured what the hell if the lady wanted him dead she could of just fed him to the walkers or killed him herself.
Omega came in to her pseudo home to find a clean Dixon sipping coffee. She stood there and wondered what had become of his baby brother. She entered the room proper and sat down across from the watching Dixon.
Merle watched as the lady came into the room and wondered why she seemed vaguely familiar. She was dressed in dark boot-cut jeans with hand guns on either side of her hips, she wore a gray tank over black baseball under-armor. Her feet was cover in black combat boots, and when she turned to sit down he saw another gun and two knifes.
"Morning Sunshine." Omega started when it seemed the other wouldn't.
"My name is Merle as you damn well already know some how."
"Oh that, well I kinda was spying on you and your 'friends' yesterday."
"Some friends left me to die on a roof."
"Well from what I saw you deserved to of gotten shot actually so shush." Merle grumbled under his breath a bit at that.
"Whatever, you gonna tell me your name or am I just gonna call you sugar tits?"
Omega recoiled at the name and almost slapped him but restrained herself. "My name is Meg, but if you call me anything remotely similar to that name it won't matter what you call me you'll be dead or near there. Savey?"
"Okay then Meg." They sat there for a few minutes then, "How did you heal my wrist so fast, and better yet why do I fill like I never did anything without going thorough some kind of withdraw?" He sat there waiting for an answer. "I don't even feel like I want anything." She still remained silent. "Goddamn it tell me, what you got some kind of magic powers that can heal like w. . ." Merle couldn't finish his thought, he hadn't thought of her in years and he wasn't gonna bring all that back just because some chick may be like her.
"What if I said yes I do, or that I know someone who does?" She watched as Merle locked eyes with her and she saw his mind working hard. "I have an associate who fixed me up with a kit before he was killed."
Merle watched as Meg got up and pulled a bag from behind the counter. He watched as she pulled a few things out telling him that this would stop the bleeding, that would heal minor cuts and this could vanish a bruise within minutes or hours depending on how deep it was. He knew that she wasn't showing him everything and he respected that. He nodded and was about to ask something when he remembered that he wanted to rip officer friendly a new asshole.
"I gotta go, I mean it has been interesting and everything but I need to do something." As he went and got his dirty clothes and was on his way out Meg stood and grabbed him and spun him around. "What do you think you're doing girly?" he growled.
"Stopping you from making a fucking huge mistake." she somehow forced him to sit back down. "Listen if you're on your way to get even with the group from yesterday," Merle nodded. "think you were acting batshit crazy and even I wanted to shoot you." Merle stopped trying to escape. "They were protecting the group from you, it was an accident when that guy dropped the key, and he did chain the door so no walkers could get at you. And I highly doubt that officer friendly is the type to not come back once everyone is safe." She watched as his body sagged slightly. "I'll take you back to them if you promise not to do anything rash, you can yell and maybe punch the cop and black guy, but that's it okay?"
"Would you stay with us?"
"Huh?" Omega didn't plan on that.
"I'll behave if you come back with me and join me and my brother Daryl at camp, that is if you can leave this sweet setup."
Omega huffed if only he knew what she could do. She shook her head, "Sure I'll come back with you, I had been planning on moving soon anyway." She saw him smile and tossed him a bag and pointed to the corner that had some supplies piled in it. He nodded and got to work. While his back was turned she grabbed up her special bag and put most of her belongings in it leaving out the medic kit seeing as he had seen it already. "I got a truck a couple blocks over, and we should probably pick up that cops bag of guns while we're out and about."
"Bag of guns?"
Omega nodded.
They had made it to her truck and Merle was surprised to say he was slightly impressed with the way she handled herself, especially since she had only used her knifes as they made their way to the spot she had stashed her truck. He was grateful that Meg hadn't brought everything from her hideout, because he doubted if they could of had more bags and killed the walkers as they ran. Merle came back to himself when the truck stopped and he saw a black sheriff bag with guns sticking out laying on the ground with walkers close by. He put a hand up and stopped Meg from going to get it, he couldn't let her show him up too much.
Omega smirked as Merle quietly made his way over towards the bag, and with a roll of the eyes she was right behind him although her target was something else. She took out a couple walkers coming from behind them before making her way back towards the truck as to not offend the redneck's delicate sensibilities.
The black truck silently made it's way out of Atlanta and up the canyon road to where according to Merle there would be a camp and in it would be her new team. She was slightly nervous, sure she had been spying on the group for a couple weeks now but she hadn't really planned on meeting them en mass this soon if ever.
When she pulled up she noted at least three guns and one crossbow directed at them, she silently cursed herself a bit for having tinted windows. She ignored Merle's comment about a white flag and rolled down her window. "Is one of you Daryl Dixon?" She almost choked on the name when she said it, because she had been looking at him pointing the crossbow at the window in front of her.
"Who wants to know?" came the gruff sounding reply. Omega nudged Merle and pointed towards the door. He nodded and opened it.
"Well I do baby brother." The guns were lowered, but not put away.
"Who you got with you Merle?" It was Merle's turn to do the nudging, and he got smacked for it.
Omega opened her own door and stood up on the lip. "Howdy ya'll I'm Meg." Merle started laughing at the drawl she had used, and knew she was imitating the Dixon boys. He stopped when Officer friendly started talking.
"Where'd you come from?"
Omega rolled her eyes and in her normal voice responded. "Well Officer Friendly," the Atlanta group perked up at the name Rick had given himself on the roof. "that is quite frankly none of your damn business, but I did bring you a gift, seeing as how it is rude to come to someone's home without one." She ducked back in the cab and brought out the bag Rick had dropped. "Non-enemies?"
Rick came forward as Meg jumped down she handed him back his bag and then reached in the seat and pulled out his hat.
Rick couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped him when he took that as well. "What the hell friends." He stuck his hand out and she shook it. When she quickly stepped back he cocked his head and barely had time to prepare before Merle's fist connected with his jaw. He looked up about to ask 'what the hell' when he saw Merle look at Meg and the girl just shook her head in exasperation. It was Shane who voiced his question.
"What the hell was that Dixon?" He had his gun up and it wasn't Merle who responded.
"Oh get over it, it was just a little love tap. He's over Rick's involvement now right?"
"Right, Rick's part." the black man stepped forward as Meg looked over the immediate area and realized it looked like they might have been on their way out.
"And me?" asked the dark-skinned man. His question was answered as he received a love tap of his own.
"So now that that is settled hows bout a round of introductions?" Meg looked around at the faces of her new team and had mixed feelings.
"How did you get the cuffs off without damaging the skin?"
Meg whirled around to see Daryl looking at his brother's wrist. She then looked at T-Dog who had voiced the question. "I have many skills that seem to come in handy nowadays."
