Red is the new Black

"So Onyx has been in Odaiba this whole time? And he's in the hospital?" TK and Kari were on their way to the hospital to see Shinji as she filled him in on everything that was happening.

"Pretty much. Here's hoping he's awake."

"Kari, he's a dimension hopping superhero. I doubt he'll be sleeping at 10 in the morning."

"Boy was I wrong." TK said as he and Kari stood next to Shinji's bed as he slept while Sam was sleeping on the small recliner in the room. "Who's she?"

"Sam."

"You think she's-"

"TK she's married."

"I was gonna say a rider too but gee, THANKS for assuming what I was gonna ask." TK scoffed and turned to see Shinji beginning to wake up. "Hey man, how you doing?"

"Feel like shit, got my ass handed to me, by another guy who looks just like us."

"It never ends does it?"

"Like you wouldn't believe. Help me up man." TK nodded and helped Shinji out of bed as Kari looked in surprise at the difference between him and TK in terms of how they were built. "I'm surprised you didn't come earlier."

"I honestly had no idea you were here until I saw the news last night. SOMEONE was keeping that a secret, right Kari?"

"Love you too." Kari chuckled looking out the window to hide her blush while Shinji stretched.

"So what brings you here?" Shinji asked cracking his neck as TK nodded his head remembering why he came.

"Give you this, I figured you might need it." TK reached into his backpack and handed Shinji a fresh change of clothes and his laptop too. "The clothes are since you don't have any here, and I need to show you something on my laptop." Shinji walked into the bathroom and changed as TK opened up his laptop.

"TK I really appreciate this." Shinji walked out of the bathroom wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of white sneakers and looked at the computer as TK pulled up what he needed to show him.

"So all over the country there have been these odd sightings. One person described a creature they saw like a gigantic purple snake and another like a rhino on two legs, giant stingrays, gigantic two-legged chameleons, things like that. First we thought they were Digimon but now I'm thinking these are Advent Beasts. But also there have been Digimon sightings with them and there was always a shadowy figure, like a person with them. I'm thinking and what if-"

"What if those are Xaviax's Kamen Riders?"

"Exactly. Xaviax shut us all out of the Digital World, took our partners, and created riders. He's basically creating an unstoppable army."

"Not unstoppable. Even the biggest mountain can be climbed, and this is no different."

"Buuuut we're talking about fighting, not hiking."

"Metaphor. Come on, are you in or out?"

"Saving the world for a third time and actually being the one doing the fighting? Hell yeah, I'm in!"

"You sure the hospital won't notice you're gone?" Kari asked as she, Shinji, and TK were walking around after sneaking out of the hospital.

"Sam's using your laptop to hack their systems right now, she's going to check me out and put our identities in the system right now." Shinji explained until suddenly, several humanoid Zebra Advent Beasts and a green gigantic parrot suddenly flew out of a nearby building's windows. "What the hell?! Who let Polly out of its cage?!"

"A Parrotmon?! Boy do I wish Gatomon and Patamon were still here."Kari and TK looked in shock at the Digimon as it flew around as the Zebras attacked. "Onyx, what are those things exactly?"

"Zebraskulls. Just leave this to me alright?" Shinji said making the two nod as he took out the Dragon deck and extended it but nothing happened. No belt formed around his waist and the two looked at him in surprise.

"Um is that supposed to happen?"

"I dunno! What the hell is going on?"

"You aren't worthy of that deck." The three looked to see Ryuga in his human form sitting on Parrotmon flipping his deck in the air.

"I swear it's the invasion of the clones over here." TK said gulping as Ryuga slid his deck into his belt and transformed landing in front of them. He walked up to them with his Sword in his hand and his eyes glowing red. Shinji ran up to him and tried to punch him in the head but Ryuga caught his fist and kneed him in the stomach knocking the air out of him and lifted him up by the throat. "Onyx!"

"Shinji!"

"You never stood a chance against me. What makes you think that know, after losing your deck, you can beat me."

"B-Because..."

"Because what?"

"Because I'm going to tear you and Xaviax apart and stop him!" Shinji's eyes flashed red as the Dragon deck began to glow red. Suddenly from a window, a red and silver version of Dragblacker with yellow eyes appeared and tore through several Zebraskulls then tackling Ryuga making him let go of Shinji. He looked up to see the dragon looking at him and at the deck. The dragon roared as Ryuga got up and got a card from his deck. "I...understand." The deck flew into Shinji's hand and he turned to face Ryuga extending his arm with the deck making red lines go from it to his waist forming his belt. "Kamen Rider!" He slid the deck in and the dragon surrounded him as a red orb did as well beginning his transformation. On him formed armor just like his Onyx deck's but instead it was red with a silver breastplate and helmet with his gold symbol on his forehead as well as red eyes, and the gauntlet on his arm was silver and red with yellow eyes now. He had become Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

"What the?"

"Talk about a palette swap." Kari said as Dragon Knight and Ryuga stood facing each other with Dragblacker now joining the fray surrounding Ryuga. Dragon Knight pulled a card from his deck and activated it raising his right arm.

SWORD VENT

He grabbed his weapon that was almost exactly like Ryuga's but now it had a red hilt and his gold symbol in the middle of the crossguard. Ryuga charged at him with his weapon ready but Dragon Knight simply dodged the attack slashed him in the back.

"Nice try. My turn." Ryuga turned around and was met with a hard punch to the head followed by several more to his chest making him stagger back.

"Dragblacker!"

"Dragreder!" Dragblacker flew at Dragon Knight hearing Ryuga's order but Dragreder attacked it by biting it in the neck and the two began to circle above the two attacking each other. The two riders punched each other in the head making the other stagger but Dragon Knight regained his composure and grabbed his sword while Ryuga went for his.

"Uh oh, we forgot about them." TK said as he and Kari turned around to see Parrotmon and the Zebraskulls but a familiar white Swan appeared and attacked all of them before beginning to fight with Parrotmon. The two turned to see Siren walking up to them with her Sword Vent ready.

"Hey kids, time to let the pro get to work." Siren said chuckling and she then began to tear through the horde of Zebraskulls with the greatest of ease striking each down with incredible speed. She kicked one in the head and went up in the air getting her Final Vent from her deck. She put it in her sword and activated it making her beast stop battling Parrotmon.

FINAL VENT

Kari and TK watched in awe as the Zebraskulls were sent flying towards Siren and she cut each and every one in half making them explode behind her. She detransformed back to Sam and the three watched as Dragon Knight began to overpower Ryuga until the black Kamen Rider was on the ground nearly defeated. Dragon Knight pulled his Final Vent out of his deck and activated it making Dragreder go to him.

FINAL VENT

Dragon Knight crouched down and jumped up high with Dragreder circling him. He spun and extended his leg making Dragreder blast him with fire sending him flying towards Ryuga. But at the last moment Parrotmon jumped in between them and was destroyed instead allowing Ryuga to escape with Dragblacker. Dragon Knight landed on the ground and looked around as everyone else had run away when the battle started and he looked up ending his transformation going back to Shinji.

"Hey guys, guess who's got a new permanent deck?" Shinji said smiling at the three making Sam laugh, TK smile, and Kari blush.

A little over a week had passed since the battle with Ryuga and Sam and Shinji were moving into their new house in their new world.

"Well it isn't much, but it's home for now." Sam said looking around in the two-story house making Shinji chuckle and put a box down.

"Yeah, and when I find a way back into the void I'm going to make this Ren and Toby's home too."

"Can you really bring them back?"

"Master Eubulon gave me this before he went there himself." Shinji said taking out a necklace with a golden circle on it and put it around his neck. "Whatever it is, he gave it to me for a reason, and I'm going into the void to bring my brothers home."

"Ony...Shinji, what was it like in there?"

"Dark, cold, and my brothers don't belong in there. As long as we have a shred of hope, I'm going to get them back no matter what it takes." Shinji said putting the Wing Knight deck next to a picture frame of the two of them along with a tall man with short black hair holding Sam and a man with shaggy black hair holding Shinji in a headlock.

"Oh and kiddo, enjoy the next few weeks because you're going back to high school."

"What?!"
