4. Chapter 3

It was definitely a bulge sat low between her hips. She twisted and turned in the mirror to see it from every angle but it didn't change. She pressed down on the top and sides but it was hard. Bella gulped hearing Edward step into the bedroom. Quickly she locked the door and returned to the sink trying not to retch.

I CANNOT be pregnant She told herself poking the bump It takes years to get pregnant. We tried before. They had spent a year trying and using everything possible to get pregnant when Edward had been human but nothing had worked. Now he was a vampire king; nothing had changed surely?

"Bella." Edward commanded from the other room. It was near dawn and he wanted to sleep. She stared at her pale reflection once more before pulling her night dress over her body.
