Hello everyone, I know it's been a while but life has been hectic lately. But it's a new year so what better way to kick it off than a new oneshot.
The light of the morning sun peeking in through the edges of the curtains cascaded in to the quiet bedroom, slowly drawing Robin out of a deep sleep. His eyes slowly opened and he yawned as he looked around what had become a rather familiar sight, his room in the Ylissian castle. Being the trusted tactician and advisor to Chrom, the future Exalt, Robin was given a nice set of chambers in the castle to call his own. The Shepherds had stopped in the capital to resupply, reassess their strategies, as well as give the troops some well deserved time off as a means to improve morale.
Robin was about to slip out of bed and get ready for the bed but he found himself a tad stuck in place. His wife Tharja was curled up next to him in the bed and clinging tightly to him. Robin smiled, seeing Tharja sleeping so peacefully. She looked so unthreatening and…cute when she was sleeping. There was a sweet tenderness on her face as she slept. Robin knew that was always in Tharja, but it came out so plainly as she slept. She looked…happy, which in turn made him happier. Robin knew that Chrom was no doubt waiting for him to help work on strategies for the Shepherds, but he didn't want to disturb Tharja so he tried to move out of the bed as slowly as possible, hoping not to awaking his bride.
Robin had just about slid both of his legs off the bed but was having trouble moving his arm since Tharja was clinging to it so tightly. It surprised Robin how such a small petite young woman could have such an iron clad grip when she wanted to. Robin tried to pull himself free once more but then stopped when he heard, "Where sneaking away to, my love? It's still early."
Robin looked over his shoulder and saw Tharja's eyes staring at him as the side of her head rested on the nearby pillow. Robin could see that even in her half awoken state, she was not too happy at seeing him leaving so early. Robin put on a slightly nervous smile and said, "I was sneaking away. You just seemed so peaceful that I didn't want to disturb you. That's all."
"I see, that's sweet of you but…" Tharja paused and moved closer to Robin and leaned in to his back snuggly, her hands resting on his back and slowly curling around the fabric of his night shirt. Robin blushed feeling Tharja pressing her body in to him so seductively. She had been doing things like that a lot lately, more than usual. Tharja leaned her head over Robin's shoulder, turning to look closely in to his eyes. "Part of the reason we came back here was to give everyone some time off. I assumed that would include you…." Tharja said dryly.
"I wish…but that was for everyone else. Chrom and Frederick wanted some assistance in planning for our supplies for the future. They're worried about the enemy attempting to attack our supply lines." Robin explained, knowing that such an excuse wouldn't be enough for his rather possessive wife.
"That Chrom." Tharja said, biting her lip. "If anyone deserves some well earned time to themselves, it's you. Chrom and Frederick always have you doing something. Now that we were finally going to have some privacy, I was hoping we would…" That was when Tharja cut off, looking away.
"Oh…I see…" Robin said, blushing a deep shade of red. Thinking quickly, Robin worked towards guiding the conversation in a different direction. "Hey I know, Sumia is going in to town today with Lucina and Cynthia. Noire and Morgan are going as well, so why don't you go with them? I think it'd be a great chance to spend some time with our daughters."
Tharja frowned at Robin's evasiveness but then a smirk slowly ran across her lips and she let out a small chuckle. "Alright sure, that sounds…fun."
Robin felt the blood go from his face as he heard the in Tharja's voice. He knew that tone, and he knew that look. There was something going on in her mind. Robin was genius tactician, and part of that came from an innate ability to predict the behavior of people, be it his allies or his enemies. The only person he couldn't read though was his beloved Tharja. Perhaps that was part of the reason why he was so attracted to her. She kept him guessing which excited him, but left him at quite the disadvantage whenever she was planning something. Robin had only one option. He smiled at her and quickly slipped his arms around Tharja's shoulders, holding her close. He then said in to her ear, "I promise to work as hard as I can today so that we can the rest of our time here together."
Tharja blushed at the sudden embrace and quietly replied, "That's what I'm afraid of." Tharja didn't explain her comment and thus the two got ready for the day. Tharja wouldn't admit it but Robin was right, she could spend some more time with their future children. Needless to say that Noire and Morgan were pleasantly surprised when their mother met them at the front doors of the castle, announcing that she'd be going along. She used the excuse that she needed some ingredients for a few potions she was working on. It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the entire truth.
"That's so great you decided to join us Tharja! We'll have a whole mothers and daughters day out." Sumia said enthusiastically. Sumia had been supportive of Robin and Tharja's relationship, which Tharja appreciated even though she found Sumia to be overly optimistic and quite the scatter brain. But regardless it worked in Tharja's favor to have Chrom's wife on her side.
Throughout the day, Tharja watched with interest at the ways Sumia interacted with her daughters. Tharja hoped to perhaps learn how to more naturally converse with her own daughters. The girls walked throughout the markets and in to a clothing store. Tharja couldn't help but cringe at the sight of Lucina picking out clothes for Sumia. The young princess' taste was…unique. Tharja looked over to Noire who was holding a dress against her body as she looked at herself in a mirror.
Tharja curiously walked up behind Noire and looked at her reflection in the mirror then asked, "Do you like it, Noire?"
"W-well it's just umm….it's very nice but I don't think it would look very good on me. I'm not that pretty." Noire said meekly, having very little confidence in herself.
"Don't be ridiculous Noire. Honestly, how did I ever raise a daughter that's so smart yet can say such foolish things?" Tharja questioned. Tharja knew full well that Noire was a beautiful girl, she simply lacked self confidence. While walking about the town, Tharja had noticed some local men eyeing Noire and herself. She overheard a few of them talking about if they were sisters. Tharja had contemplated telling them that Noire was her daughter, just to see their reactions. But Tharja decided they weren't worth her attention so just let it go. There was no doubt though that Noire took after her mother. They had the same fair skin tone, same curvy figure, and even many of the same facial features.
"So…you really think this would look good on me, Mother?" Noire asked curiously.
"The woman makes the clothes, Noire. A beautiful girl can make anything look good." Tharja said, attempting to sound motherly. It felt very unlike her, although it wasn't nearly as bad when she was trying to act 'normal' for Robin.
"Really? Are you sure about that?" Noire asked, her eyes looking over at the different dresses that Lucina was bringing to Sumia.
Tharja followed Noire's eyes and bit her lip a little, "Well…there are always exceptions."
Later on during the day, the group stopped in a magic shop at Tharja's request since she had a few ingredients to pick up. Quietly Tharja walked about the shop, looking over the various roots, herbs, and animal parts in the different jars. Her dark mage eyes were quick to pick out the best of the selections. Tharja stopped though when she noticed Noire looking over her shoulder. "What is it?" Tharja asked shortly.
"Well, I know that you said no to teaching me hexes but I thought I could help you out with this potion you're working on. In the future, you actually did let me help you out every now and then with your potions." Noire offered.
"Hmm, very well then." Tharja said as she pulled out a small piece of paper and showed it to Noire. "These are the ingredients I need."
Noire looked over the list curiously but then blushed deeply once she realized what sort of potion her mother was going to make. "Oh my….ummm….uhhh….I see…"
"Don't want to help Mother anymore?" Tharja asked with a small smirk. Noire simply shook her head. Tharja let out a dark little giggle as she picked up a jar of herbs and examined it, "I'm doing this for you, Dear."
Tharja continued to pick up the materials she needed but out of the corner of her eye noticed Morgan looking over a couple of different books. What stuck out to Tharja though was that Morgan didn't seem to be judging them based on content. No, she seemed to be weighing them. Part of Tharja didn't want to know what that strange child of hers was thinking, yet the motherly part of her, as tiny as it was, had to know. "What are you doing?" Tharja asked.
"Oh, I'm just looking for a new book to help with regaining my memories. I need a really heavy book." Morgan explained.
"What does the weight have to do with that?" Tharja asked, a little worried about the answer.
"I want the heaviest one I can find so that when I hit myself in the head with it, it will be more effective in jarring my memory." Morgan explained with an innocent and sweet smile. Tharja couldn't understand why that child so sickly sweet. It'd be revolting if she wasn't so innocent and naïve. How in the world could she have raised such a child? Obviously Morgan took after her father.
"I…don't think that's how memories work. Regardless I don't want you hitting yourself in the face with a book or anything else." Tharja said sternly. This was not the first time that Tharja had seen or heard of Morgan hitting her head against a book or fence post. She had good intentions, but she was doing far more damage than good.
"But why, Mother? I want to remember you and the rest of my memories so badly. It seems like no matter what I do, I can't get my memories back." Morgan said desperately as she walked up next to Tharja and looked right in to her eyes. "I want to remember everything, but especially you, Mother. I know that we must have had so many amazing memories together. I'll try anything to get my memories back."
"You look too much like your father, so I don't want you hurting that face of yours. Besides, perhaps I can help you. I'll search for a potion or hex to bring back memories if you promise not to abuse your face anymore." Tharja offered.
Morgan smiled brightly and quickly embraced her mother tightly. "Oh thank you so much, Mother! I love you!"
Tharja hesitantly patted Morgan's shoulders and replied, "Yes…I…love you too, Morgan….Now let go, you're crushing your mother's ribs…."
It was the early evening when Robin was able to return to his bed chambers for a small break before dinner. He was pleasantly surprised when he passed by Noire and Morgan to find out they spent the day with their mother. It made his day to hear that the girls had a great time. He was glad that Tharja was finally getting to bond with their daughters a bit. Robin walked in to his room to find Tharja sitting on their bed with several open books sitting around her. "Working on something?" Robin asked curiously with a small smile.
"I'm looking for a spell or hex to help Morgan get her memories back before that child gives herself a concussion." Tharja said simply.
"Oh…she was trying to beat her memories back in to her head, huh? I really wish she'd stop doing that." Robin said, rubbing the back of his head a little.
"You and me both, my love. By the way, would you mind tasting that wine? I bought it in town today but I'm not sure if you'd like it." Tharja said.
Robin looked over at the small bottle sitting on a nearby table. He shrugged a little and agreed. He opened up the bottle and poured some of the red liquid in to a glass and took a few sips. Tharja grinned as she watched Robin drink the concoction. "Well, how is it?" She asked with a small laugh.
"Umm it's good but it has a strange….after taste…umm…" Robin stuttered a little as he began to feel a little light headed. Tharja was already on her feet and guided Robin over to the bed so that he could sit down.
"Well now, that took effect even faster than I thought." Tharja said in a pleased tone.
"Tharja…what did you put in that?" Robin asked as he slowly fell back on to the bed.
"Just something to help you relax, my love. And a rather potent aphrodisiac." Tharja said with a grin as Robin quickly fell asleep. Tharja smiled watching Robin sleep. He looked so cute and peaceful. "You're so vulnerable….this is going to be fun."
When Robin came to, he found himself tied to the bed, his hands over his head and bound to the headboard, and his clothes were now lying absently across the floor. He also noticed that it wasn't just his clothes on the floor. Tharja was curled up next to him, wrapped up in a thin bed sheet that was clinging to the curves of her body. She was simply grinning coyly at Robin, she had been watching him sleep which was by no means unusual. "Tharja, what's gotten in to you? Why am I tied up?" Robin asked.
"Because I wanted you just for myself tonight. I knew that Chrom and Frederick would need you for something pointless tonight so this was my best course of action. Besides, those two need to learn to not rely on you so much." Tharja explained simply with a small smirk on her lips. She moved closer to Robin, slowly moving her bare smooth leg over Robin's leg so that she was now straddling his thigh. Tharja was now on top of Robin, her violet eyes staring down in to his as her body rested flat on top of him.
"But I promised you that we'd get to spend the rest of our time here together after today." Robin said, "Now will you please untie me? I won't go anywhere. I promise"
Tharja shook her head and replied, "That would have been too late. I needed to have you for myself tonight. Or else it'd be too late."
"Tharja, I don't understand what you're talking about." Robin said, blushing as Tharja ran her fingers over his bare chest sensually. The aphrodisiac she had mentioned before was obviously taking effect on him, although it wasn't as if he needed any potions to feel that way about his wife. Robin could feel his pulse starting to pick up as he felt his desire for Tharja build up inside him. He lightly pulled against the binds that were holding up his arms, wishing so badly to have use of his hands at that moment.
"The other day, Noire mentioned when her birthday is. Based on a normal trimester cycle I calculated that we must have conceived her within this week, and today is the last day I'm ovulating. We have to conceive her tonight. I don't want to lose my Noire, or for her to change in any way. I know you've been trying to keep the future coming true, my love, but don't you dare try to change our girls." Tharja explained then let out a small laugh, "And that's why I'm not letting you rest tonight…Now then Robin, help me make our little Noire."
"Is that what this is all about? Tharja, I'm surprise at you, all you needed to do was ask. I won't be going anywhere." Robin said before he leaned his head up as far as he could and gently brushed his lips against hers as he whispered, "Now, please release me."
Tharja grinned in amusement as she reached up and untied Robin's hands. She then let out small gasp as Robin wrapped his arms around her and then rolled them over so that he was on top of her, his lips pressed against hers.
The next morning the sun was slowly rising and streams of light were starting to peek in through the edges of the window curtains. Robin was laying flat on his back in the bed, his bare upper body damp with light sweat. Tharja was curled up next to him, her body pressed against his and her head resting between his shoulder and neck. Robin let out a low yawn as he squeezed his eyes shut to keep the light out. Tharja gently brushed her hand against the center of Robin's chest, her fingers running over his sternum. "Time for breakfast." she whispered in to his ear even though her eyes were still shut.
"Can't. Too tired. Can't move." Robin muttered out.
"You should eat to get your strength back, Dear." Tharja replied and let out a low laugh.
"Just let me sleep for twelve hours. I'll be fine." Robin said, a small smile on his face.
"That sounds...pleasant." Tharja remarked and then the two began to lightly laugh together.
Meanwhile Chrom and Sumia were sitting in the dining hall along with Lucina, Cynthia, and Frederick. Chrom looked around curiously and said, "I wonder where in the world Robin is. He didn't come to the meeting last night. I wonder if he's sick or something."
Sumia giggled a little and said, "You really are a sound sleeper, Dear."
Thanks for reading everyone. Just for the record, this might be the last of these one-shots I do. This has turned out to be a rather difficult couple to write for since Robin is simply an avatar in the truest sense and there's not a lot of characterization on Tharja's side. Doesn't help that a lot of the supports are generic but I've said that before. :/ Anyways leave a review or comment if you enjoyed this chapter. I do have one last idea for a oneshot but I don't know if it's enough to make a whole chapter out of.
