An alarm went off downstairs.
"Uh-oh," Eli said. "We got trouble in the- what cavern is this, Trixie?"
"The Kettlerock Cavern!" Frina exclaimed. "I thought it didn't exist?"
"What's the Kettlerock Cavern?" Trixie asked.
"It's a legendary cavern full of rare ingredients like Kettlerock for Denekks who use magic," Eli answered. "Frina, how did I know that?"
"Denekk knowledge comes with being a Denekk," Frina answered.
"Let's just go stop Blakk from getting the Kettlerock," Eli said. The four mounted their Mechas and Frina turned to a dragon and the travelled to the cavern, where Blakk and his men were cutting down Kettlerock vines. Blakk noticed them and fired a strange Ghoul that circled Frina. She was encircled in black flames. The flames soon turned to ice, and then vanished. Frina stood, shaking, in human form. She checked her necklace. The gem wasn't worn.
Blakk grinned, and kicked her in the gut. She fell over.
"I will take over Slugterra and the Denekks," he said triumphantly, "and you can't do anything to stop me." Frina's stomach felt queasy, and not because he kicked her. She knew what she had to do. She closed her eyes and opened them again. Her eyes were vivid neon green and she had vertical slits for pupils.
"Watch me," she said in a very smooth voice unlike her own. Blakk stepped back, horrified.
"Frina-what- you-?" he stuttered. Frina stood up and dusted off her light purple dress. Her dress was gradually becoming blue. "What in the name of Kror?" Blakk said. There was a flash and Kror's shape stood where Frina was.
"Yeah!" Kord cheered and clapped.
"Kror?" Blakk said, awe-struck. Then he noticed that all the talons were very much sharper than knives. "You're not Kror, you just found your Spirit Form and it happens to be a drolic! That's good news because I can't beat Kror, but I can kill a drolic." You see, drolic is the type of bird that Kror is. Blakk loaded his blaster and took aim. Frina lifted her wings and hovered above the ground. She opened her beak and screeched as loud as she could and as high pitched as she could. Blakk dropped on his knees, clutching his ears.
Frina spun in mid-air a few times and blue flames erupted around Blakk. He loaded his blaster but his Ghouls were disoriented. Blakk was truly afraid now. He was trapped in flames and his blaster was useless. The blue flames around him vanished and Frina swooped down. His slugs were now oriented and he loaded his blaster.
He was just about to pull the trigger when he saw Frina's vivid green eyes. Fear rooted him to the ground. Frina let out a shrill screech and Blakk took off running as fast as he could.
"Whoa!" Eli exclaimed. "That's what Kror looks like?"
"Yeah, he's a drolic, but one of his talons is very dull," Frina explained.
"Blakk will come back with better Ghouls, though," Trixie said. The others agreed to this except for Frina. She could vaguely hear them. She was really exhausted and lightheaded and passed out.
"Frina!" Eli exclaimed.
Frina woke up in her bed at the hideout.
"Frina, are you okay?" Eli asked.
"Yeah, it just takes a lot of energy to shift into a Spirit Form the first few times," Frina said.
"How come you did it then? If Blakk stayed, he could've easily killed you once you turned back."
"But I wouldn't turn back human until he left.''
"What if he returned? Then he could've killed you."
"Honestly, I didn't want to turn to a drolic. But I had to. I was at his mercy, and something told me that we would all be fine if I turned to a drolic, so I had to and did."
"I'm glad that it all worked out."
