Irresponsible
"Dammit Ed! You're gonna get yourself killed!" Winry had always been unhappy about the situations that Ed got himself in to because they were always dangerous.
The blond in question didn't reply. He simply averted his eyes as Winry repaired his automail.
"You can't seem to grasp the fact that if you died…" She trailed off, unsure of how to end the sentence. Her eyes were teary as she continued to work on his arm.
Ed knew she was crying; he heard it in her voice. The male sighed, golden eyes closing. "Look, will you stop crying if I promise to be careful?"
Winry stopped working for a moment. "You promise?"
He nodded and smiled at her. "Yeah, I promise."
The older Elric could be reckless and irresponsible, but when he made a promise, he did what he could to uphold it.
