Chapter 4:
SPOV
As soon as the plane took off me and Puck were very quiet and we didn't talk. I was bored so I took my book out and started to read. As soon as the sign in the front of the plane said the seat belts could be taken off, Puck got out of his seat and went to the bathroom. I remember him putting his notebook in his back pack, so I got up and took a quick peek at it. I knew it was wrong, but I was only looking at a bit.
When I got it, I sat down in Pucks seat (the one not next to the window) and started to read. The first page was saying how Granny Relda forced him to use a journal to write in.
-I can't believe the old lady is making me write down my "feelings" in the notebook. I was furious. She is the not the boss of me. She said if it didn't write in it I would have to stop pranking for a month, which I will not stop. So I guess I'll just write in it.
Wow, puck has a diary. I will so use this against him when I need to. I skipped to the last time he wrote, which was today.
-The old lady said that we me and Grimm have to sit next to each other on the plane. I am going to be so annoying. But not in the beginning. I'll just let the first couple of hour be silent, and then I will be as nasty as I can. She'll be so confused and angry. My mind works great.
I decided that I didn't want to take any more risks, so I put his notebook back in, but the zipper wouldn't open. Then one of the flight attendants came to me and said that I had to sit down. I was so aggravated.
"I'm sorry, miss, but you have to sit down. The seat belts have to be put on," she said kindly.
"Yes, I know. I just need to put this notebook back up, before I get in too much trouble. So, excuse me," I said moving her a little bit, so I can get a better grip. I kept pulling, but it wouldn't work.
"Really, you have to sit down. You can fall and get yourself injured," she said a little bit louder so some people were looking.
"LOOK, LADY. I don't want to cause any problems, but I need to get this zipper open," I shouted write I her face. She left, and now I could see Granny Relda staring at me. I ignored it and kept trying, until I heard a door open and close. I looked to my right and saw Puck coming, looking down so he couldn't see me. I didn't know what to do so I laid out my choices.
If I keep trying, I'll get pranked a thousand times in Hawaii, but if I keep it I can return later when he is looking and I don't get pranked.
I went with my second choice and sat down in my seat and put the notebook in my bag and took out a book. About a minute later Puck came, sat down and put on his seatbelt, and he saw me breathing fast.
"Are you okay?" he asked. I guess that's part of his act, but I wouldn't let that show.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said.
"I'm gonna' get my notebook," he said, taking off his seatbelt. I had to act fast, before he finds out.
"NO, wait," I said, jumping on him, but it didn't work because of my seat belt. So my hands were on him.
'What, what's wrong," he said asking me, looking a bit scared. I didn't have and excuse so I started to fake cry, but I covered my face because there weren't any tears.
"Oh, Puck. I feel so lonely, just reading my book all the time. I need somebody to talk to and I can't if you're reading your notebook. Please talk to me," I said fake crying on his lap. I didn't look up, cause then he would know I was faking.
"Gri-," he started, but I interrupted him.
"Puck all I need is for you to talk to me I don't need any soothing so can you please start on a subject," I said, nervous to see what he would say.
"Umm, okay?" he said, making it sound like a question. I got up and looked through the window, smiling now that I have more time.
"Co- Continue," I stuttered. Wow, I'm really good, I thought.
"Umm, so what book are you reading?" he asked.
"I'm reading "A Walk to Remember," I said.
"Cool, I read that book its good," He said, I was a bit surprised.
"Really?" I asked.
"No, I didn't," he said and we laughed. He continued, "Hey, you look better," he said.
"Thanks. Anyways what's the time?" I asked looking him straight in the eye.
"Umm, you're the one with the watch," he said. I felt stupid and I started to blush, feeling embarrassed. But he continued, "So what is the time?" he asked.
"Its 4:53, so about three hours until we land," I said. We waited a couple minutes until Puck spoke.
"Okay Grimm, let's get something straight. I will not be nice to you during this trip. I will be mean and play pranks on you. Don't think that since I am being nice to you write now means I'll be like this forever. Got it," he said, a bit angry.
"Oh Puck, don't worry. I knew from the beginning you would play pranks on me and be mean. I understand. You have a reputation to uphold," I said. I knew he would be ticked off. He probably thought that I changed my mind and thought, Oh, Pucks such a good person. He lets me cry on him and he always asks me how I feel, but I'm not stupid, it is Puck.
"Good... Wait, how do you understand that I have a reputation to keep," he said. Wow he can be real stupid sometimes.
"I'm Puck, the Trickster King, the King of slack-offs, delinquents, and hooligans. They know me from here to Wonderland. I have a reputation to keep and I can't do that when I save these brats," I said, trying to the best impression I can of Puck. After a few minute of silence we both burst out laughing, and the people on the other side of us are yelling for Puck and I to be quiet. Well, not for long since Puck took care of the problem.
"Hey old man, no need to get all angry at us since we like to have fun. Just because you're old doesn't mean you have to turn on us for it. So keep your mouth shut, before I shut it for you," Puck said shaking his hand at he guy. The man turned back with a swear.
"Wow, that angry," I said trying to hold in my laughter, it don't go so well and I end up snorting.
"Well, he shouldn't be yelling at us." He said, smiling at my reaction. I turned to the window and you could see that it was getting lighter, it must be morning time over there. I checked my watch, 5:20.
"Im going to go to sleep, I want to be able to catch up with the time difference," I said. I had to remember to change my clock for the right time over here.
" I guess I will to," he said. He asked the flight attendant for some pillows and blankets, then we went to sleep. I had a dream of me sitting on a chair, reading Pucks journal, I didn't really see the words though. After a couple minutes, Puck comes and sees me reading it. We get into a huge fight and I give him his notebook back. I remember him saying,
-" I'll never forgive you for this, Sabrina."
Then I woke up, by hitting my head on the wall. I wa really scared that it would happen in real life. Puck was sleeping on my shoulder, snoring very loudly. I decided to let him sleep. I checked the time, 8:53. We should be l=there soon. I opened up the windoe screen and the light was shining so bright. I closed it quickly. Then I heard an announcement.
"Hello, passengers please buckle up since we will be landing in about a minute. Make sure all cary-ons are close by to avoid any injuries," and then the speaker turned off.
I gently tapped on Puck, but he wouldn't move. Then I shook him and he still wouldn't wake up. Then I smacked him hard on the head. Then he woke up.
"What happened? Are we the- Oww, why did you smack my head?" He said.
"Because you wouldn't wake up, we have put on our seatbelts. We're landing in a minute." I said. He sat up straight and smiled when he noticed he was lying on my shoulder before. He put on his seatbelt. The plane steadily landed and the doors opened.
"I'll get our bags, you can get the fam-"he said until I cut him off.
"NO, I mean no it's okay. I'll get our bags and you get the family." I said.
"Whatever," he replied. He went to get the family. I rushed and put his notebook back in his backpack, which took a while, but finally opened. He came back and I was carrying the bags.
"Okay let's go. They're waiting for us in the airport," I gave him his bag and we left the airplane. When we got in it was very hot in the airport.
I finally found the family at the doors.
"Okay, liebling's. Our luggages are already at our hotel. Remember, we are here to solve a mystery. I want everybody to stay close and do not get lost. So, how was the flight Puck and Sabrina?" Granny asked after her speech. I ignored Daphne's winks, and answered the question.
"It was okay, no problems at all right Granny, I said giving Granny a "please don't say anything" look. Granny Relda did see me have a fight with the flight attendant.
"Of course, liebling. Alright, everyone. Let's head out of here and go to our hotel. Outside of the airport we it was at least a million degrees. We saw a chauffeur with a sign that said, The Grimms, and we headed there.
"Haryana Boldo must've sent us this car, now everyone remember, when you meet her at the hotel, be very kind," Granny told us.
"Hello, I am Max. I will be your chauffeur for the next 2 weeks with compliments from Ms. Boldo." Max told us.
We all put our carry-ons in the car and went inside. It was huge and beautiful. There were 10 seats and they all had a lot of room in between it. I sat down next to Granny Relda and Daphne.
"Wow, how beautiful. It is so huge,"Granny Relda said.
"Yes it is," Max said. We were all talking until Puck interrupted us and said…
"Alright people, lets get this show on the road." And then we left.
