Castiel looked up at the teacher, holding back tears.

"I-I'm not s-stupid..." The small boy whispered. The teacher stared at the boy in shock. She hadn't said that, though she did think it. Dean heard Cas's broken voice, and made a beeline to the two. Castiel melted into Deans arms, sniffling and trying not to cry.

"Come on Cas. Dad will handle this." He promised into the blue eyed boy's ear. The teacher froze when Dean mentioned the boys dad. She had met him the day they started and she wouldn't want to get on that guys bad side, but just as she reached to stop them, the bell rang and a tall, burlyish man walked in. Dean and Castiel ran over to him and Dean whispered something in his ear.

"Go to the car and make sure Sammy's okay." John growled in a low voice. The two boys tripped over each other trying to get out.

"What happened?" Dean asked John when he got into the impala. Silence was his answer. Castiel was whispering more of his story into Sammys ear, watching the 3 year old giggle andsuck on his thumb.

"We are leaving. I finished the job." John finally spoke, speeding up. Cas let out a small sigh. He hated moving all the time. He just wanted to be like other kids.
