OH MY GODS IM SORRY! I haven't updated in forever (only like, 5 days) when I said I'd try to update more. I feel guilty now, I'm sorry. Atleast I know who Sunny's godly parent is, along with Deathbringer's, Starflight's, and Fatespeaker's. I'm not going to spoil it for you guys though. Also, thanks to all the reviews, it helps a lot!

(Also, I know people have been suggesting Iris for Glory [no offense to Iris] but Iris is a bit... Not very dangerous. Glory is really fierce and powerful, so I don't see the sense in giving her Iris, just because she changes colour.)

Glory POV

Lining up with her cabin mates, Glory's gaze settled upon the orange sun that painted its colours across the sky as it rose above the hills. She wondered who her godly parent was, then tried figuring out her friend's. Her best guess was that Sunny was a daughter of Apollo, who else could be so cheery and not be his child?

Luckily, the march wasn't long and she got to pick a spot by her friends that crowded the Hermes table. Glory always ate Fruit loops, since when she discovered it, she claimed it to be the best cereal there was. (Do you guys see what I did there? Or am I the only one who likes my jokes?)

A new demigod was at the table that morning. She had dark brown curly hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, her eyes were blue-green in colour, and her face was sprinkled over with freckles. She seemed to shy away from everyone a bit.

Glory like the look of her, not like those idiot Aphrodite girls (not including Piper) who cared only about gossip and looking good. Glory decided she should try to talk with her instead of just staying within her group of friends. Right... Just try to talk to someone that I don't know, who knows a lot more about her race than me. Perfect.

"Hi, I'm Glory, what's your name?" She directed her question to the demigod.

"H-hi, I'm Charlotte D-Daniel." Charlotte smiled a bit at her.

"Do you know who your godly parent is?"

"No, or else I'd be at a d-different table. I'm g-guessing your the s-same?"

"Naw, I'm just staying here for the fun of it, you know. Of course I don't know who my godly parent is." Glory finished with a little huff.

"Yeah, k-kinda stupid question wasn't it? A-are you good in archery?"

"I don't know. I haven't even been able to get a weapon!" Glory turned to look at Tsunami before continuing, "Because someone freaked out and attacked another person."

"Really? I'm d-determined to win against s-someone in the arena. Maybe a d-dagger would be cool, along with a b-bow."

"A sword sounds cool. Maybe some throwing daggers, too."

"Hey, if you want, we can try d-duelling when we're t-taught."

"Sure, then we can kick Deathbringer's and Tsunami's butts."

"I heard that!" Tsunami cried, while Deathbringer smug looked looked even more smug.

"And how do you plan on beating the assassin?" He questioned.

"I already beaten you in the Icewing's territory, birdbrain."

"Technically not, since you actually didn't kill me."

"I had you under my talons for gods sake!"

"Pfft, still doesn't count."

"I should've left you to the volcano." Glory muttered.

"But you didn't," Deathbringer said in a sing-song manner. Glory started growling, and Deathbringer's smile just got bigger.

"You guys, stop fighting. You do realize that everyone is watching you guys?" Clay intervened.

Suddenly, everyone looked away and started to talk, trying to hide that they were listening. Glory eyed the crowd, they had uncanny ability of hearing things. Then she started eating her Fruit loops again, but "accidently" flicked it at Deathbringer, who got it in the face. Deathbringer looked up at a now smirking Glory.

"You know, that was my face."

"I'm surprised it wasn't you're mouth, I mean, how could anyone miss that huge thing?"

"I don't talk that much. Also, I like my handsome face when there's no cereal on it." Glory rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, right. Handsome is always how I describe you."

"See? Now you admit it!"

"That was sarcasm, genius."

"Mm-hmm. You're just saying that to—"

"You g-guys are really amusing." Charlotte interrupted, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Thanks," Was the single reply from Glory.

After breakfast, Glory checked the list of activities. First one up was sword fighting. Nice. Hurrying out the door, she ran into Sunny.

"Hey, you coming to the arena?"

"Of course." Sunny beamed. "Isn't this place awesome? The people are so nice here! Especially Will, he's always nice to me. He teaches me a bit about healing. But things are really weird in this land. There's some type of magic called the 'Internet'. Anything you want to know, and it's there. I bet Starflight would love it!"

"Is it animus magic? They have it here?"

"No, no. It has something to do with electricity which does something and something, it's really complex. But yeah, you can also tell people from anywhere something. Isn't that cool?"

"I guess, it must be pretty handy. Hey, do you think they are actually trying to figure out how to get us back?"

"I'm sure they're trying their best. Why wouldn't they?"

"Don't you say that to everything?"

"It's true!"

"Ok then, fine." Sunny looked upset now, but still walked alongside Glory.

The arena was peculiar. It pretty much like a big box of a building, like the outside bathroom-building. Except, the difference was that this was much nicer, especially the inside. On one side of the wall, rows of dummies stood. On the opposite wall, racks of regular weapons—like swords, daggers, throwing knives, and spears—hung. In one corner was a drink dispenser. A group of people lazed about in the middle, waiting and chatting.

As they came closer, Glory and Sunny found that it was her group of friends that had come even earlier than them.

"Hey guys!"

"Oh, uh, hi Sunny." Starflight fidgeted. Fatespeaker slid over to him and smiled to him. All the others looked eager to start training. They chatted for awhile, and Charlotte soon arrived. She joined the conversation too.

Around twenty minutes later, a boy with black hair and sea green eyes entered the arena, took out a pen and uncapped it. The pen elongated and became wider, transforming into a double-sided sword right infront of their eyes.

"Hey guys, I'm Percy. I'll be your sword-fighting teacher. So, let's see which weapons suit you and we'll get started!"

Picking a sword was not the easiest thing. Most swords felt weird in her grip, too heavy, too light, or unbalanced. At the last rack, all the way at the back, she found something suitable. It matched herself; it was pretty, yet dangerous. It balanced well, and the grip wasn't weird.

Testing it, she swung it. It swooshed through the air and Glory spun in a circle, moving with the sword.

"Nice, this will do." She said to Percy, grinning.

"There's another one, if you want to dual-wield. It's crazy hard to do it though, even for me, and I'm one of the best in centuries." Glory gazed next to where she and found the sword. He was right. It was identical to the first. Couldn't hurt to try, would it?

Hefting the other one up, she tried it out. She slashed outwards with both; it proved pretty easy. Glory then strapped them to her back where she could reach them. Then, she gathered up some throwing knives and hung them at her waist. Now she was ready.

Walking back to the middle, she noticed the weapon choice of her friends. Tsunami had chosen a trident with a shield (no doubt to smash her enemies with), Sunny had chosen two longish daggers with a bow and quiver slung across her back, Deathbringer had two pouches filled with metal star disks (almost like the ones he had attacked her with) and a sword in hand with the tip of a concealed dagger in his left sleeve. Clay had chosen a regular sword and shield, Starflight chose a short sword with a big shield, Fatespeaker had chosen a bow & arrow with a sword, and Charlotte had a bow and quiver across her back, with two big daggers at her belt.

"So, you all ready? So, partner up and I'll show you the basics. Hmm... I don't have anyone to spar with." He paused, then murmured to himself, "Im going to call Annabeth. Did Leo finally finish his non-monster cellphone thing? Hopefully he did." Percy walked away with a small black object in hand and lifted it towards his ear.

A few minutes after, a blond girl with grey eyes bounded in.

"Really Percy? You need my help teaching the thing your best at—sword-fighting?" She sighed.

"Yeah, I don't have anyone to demonstrate with, since they're all partnered up with each other. Come on Annabeth, it'll be fun. I promise not to go hard, plus it's just the basics."

"Fine."

Glory sat down and the others followed her example. Percy started showing ways to parry or dodge an opponent's weapon, and how to attack back. Annabeth was having a bit of trouble now and then, but still stood her ground. Eventually, Percy made them spar with each other. As promised, Glory fought with Charlotte, it was hard to tell who was better.

After a few hours of tiring training and learning new techniques, they stopped combat training. Not surprisingly, Annabeth replaced the combat with archery. When everyone heard the news, they groaned loudly and protested.

Then Annabeth told them that if they wanted to get back, they had to learn to survive here and learn how to fight against monsters. That helped them clear the aching in their backs and arms.

Glory growled, archery was probably not going to be her thing. Annabeth informed them how to handle it and notch an arrow, and now Glory had to do it herself. Drawing back the string, she let loose the arrow at the dummy. Her aim was unsuccessful, as it hit the wall three feet away from it. Meanwhile, Sunny's and Fatespeaker's arrows had hit near the heart and forehead. Charlottes had hit the stomach, which could still prove fatal.

Everyone gasped as two Lyres hovered over Sunny's and Fatespeaker's heads.

"Well, it seems we have two children of Apollo with us. Congratulations!"

Percy and Annabeth went over to them and started. Talking about things they might be able to do, now that they new they had powers.

"I wish I could read who my godly parent is. It would be much simpler. Do they even have scrolls? I haven't seen any." Starflight sighed. Annabeth turned towards him.

"Of course we have books! Why, do you like to read?" Starflight looked puzzled.

"Books?"

"Yeah, you know, the papers all together with writing on them that form a story, or a document."

"So you mean scrolls."

"That's what you guys have I'm guessing?"

"Yeah..." He sighed wistfully.

"I can always give you some books—I mean, scrolls, to read."

"Really? That would be great!" Glory rolled her eyes.

"Don't mind him, he never takes his snout out of his scrolls. Honestly, I don't know how he knows so much, much less remember it." She snorted. Glory glanced at Annabeth and saw her furiously working something out.

"You know, you might be a child of Athena. That's my godly parent." Starflight perked up.

"The goddess of wisdom, crafts, and war. Right?" Annabeth nodded, then closed her eyes and muttered something, face tilted to the ceiling.

A glow suddenly filled the room as a silver image of an olive branch with an owl perched on it bobbed over Starflight's head as he tried to swipe it. Annabeth smiled.

"Well, looks like I was right. Any other claims?" When none came forth, she continued. "Then I guess we'll all go back to our cabins, if you want to go do some activities, you can. Just remember, meet back here tomorrow. Alright?" Nods were her only answer.

"Thanks Annabeth, you saved me from doing my job. How come that always happens?" Percy said jokingly.

"Maybe it's because you can't do anything without me. Seriously. If I left you in a room that had nothing in it, you would still manage to injure yourself." Percy pouted at that while everyone laughed.

Hope it was some good, I made it extra long for u guys! Anyways, I have a good suggestion from Rhodi of the Techwings and from a guest called Glory. So, Rhodi of the Techwings suggested Ares because she's aggressive and really powerful. The guest Glory suggested Aphrodite, I say it's a kind of good suggestion, since look at Piper. Plus, she could have charmspeak. But no offense to guest Glory, I find Rhodi's suggestion a bit more accurate, I like to go by personality instead of looks. Sunny is optimistic like Apollo, and Fatespeaker has a small sense of Prophecy, Starflight is really smart so of course, Athena. Makes sense to me. Anyways, if you find a better suggestion for Glory, I'd be happy to hear it, if you approve of the Ares suggestion, let me know. Woah, this chapter (not including these little messages) is 1943 words; the longest chapter I've written for this one, I think. Oh, almost forgot, I have 1 or 2 slots left for OCs since I can't do so many at once, I already have trouble fitting in all the characters already. Remember, if you want to create an OC in the background or a friend of one or all of the Dragonnets, then just pm me.
