CHAPTER FOUR

{Recap}:

When Mystique refused the Older Counsel banished her from the Leaf-village. She was allowed to talk to no-one and she wasn't allowed to grab her things. In order to make sure she left and never came back the Older Counsel invoked a curse on her that changed her into a stomper and put a block on her memory making sure that her clothes grew with her they left her in the middle of the forest and swore each other to secrecy.

(THIS NOW GOES INTO FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW)

I woke up slowly my head was pounding and it felt like something large had ran over me twenty times. Groaning I slowly sat up and looked around, I was in the middle of a large forest apparently I was alone. I looked down and saw I had on a dark green T-shirt and a pair of worn black pants, unsure of where I was or even who I was and how I came to be here I decided to try and find out if there was anybody living nearby. For some reason as I walked through the forest it was as if my body was used to the forest and more than once I was surprised when I without paying attention to the forest floor in front of me I had managed to step over a rock, or a tree root that would have tripped me up. "What is going on? Do I live around here?" I wondered as I continued through the forest. Finally I made it out of the forest and was surprised to find my feet landing on this hot black soft and yet hard surface. I immediately stepped back into the forest unsure of what the hot black stuff was. After making sure that the hot black stuff didn't stick to my feet I stepped back up onto it and began to follow it to where-ever it would lead me.

After an extremely long time of walking I came across this dirt road that led back into the forest, after a second's hesitation I decided to follow the dirt road. After another bit of walking I came upon a large circular dirt driveway in front of a wooden house a woman was outside hanging up clothes a baby girl playing with a puppy at the women's feet. Immediately I found myself watching the woman and her baby from the safety of the forest unsure of how to feel or act around them. Somehow I didn't feel as if this was right, me being close or being seen by the woman or her child. After a couple of minutes of watching them I decided that I was just being paranoid so I stepped out of the forest and started to slowly walk towards the lady. The baby saw me first and let out a gurgle and a small laugh causing the lady to look down then follow her babies' line of sight, causing her gaze to come to rest on me. She looked startled for a minute before she smiled and after picking up her baby she walked over to me, "Hello, I'm Susan this little one is called Mary Katherine, what's your name?"

SIX MONTHS LATER

The Bomba family had decided to adopt me into their small family and we decided on a name for me MJ, short for McKenna Jasmin, and me and Susan began to call Mary Katherine MK to rhyme with my nickname. After they took me in and I became MK's adopted older sister to the rest of the world Radcliffe, that was Susan's husbands name he was a scientist, he began to teach me tons of different things, as did Susan, and I loved every minute of it. To me it seemed like this was a whole world that I knew nothing about and I loved learning about it. Radcliffe and Susan thought about putting me in school but after they had me tested it was found out that I tested so high that I was said to be a genius, and the only school I would be attending if I wished would be collage and honestly I didn't want to. For what felt like the first time I had a family that cared about me and I didn't want to give it up for the world. Sometimes late at night I would find myself awake and standing just inside of the forest that surrounded the Bomba's house, and I would feel this sharp pain like I had lost something extremely important but for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was.

THREE YEARS LATER

SOMEWHERE IN THE AMAZON FOREST

"What just happened?! How did…where are they? They are coming… I have to … what am I doing? WHATS HAPPENING!?"
