A/N: Sorry it took so long to update. Time has just flew by with the holidays && Christmas coming up. But I had to update regardless. So thank you for being super patient! :))

Anyhoo, I know its short. But I'm trying to build up the anticipation LOL.

I do not claim the rights to any of the characters from the Southern Vampire Mysteries or True Blood. Read, review, && enjoy! ^_^*

I was a week closer to my due date. For the last few days I've been having Braxton hicks, better known as false labor contractions. So between that and everyone down my back about staying off my feet, I finally gave into Eric and allowed his assistant to help me.

Trust me, its better her than Amy and her 'I told you so, I know what's good for you' attitude.

"Miss Isabelle?" Chloe, my assistant, called out as she knocked on my bedroom door, stepping in.

I sat up, tucking a pillow behind me. "Yes?"

Chloe was in her early thirties with brown hair and green eyes. She's soft spoken but strong and she doesn't need a loud voice to demand authority. Her expression and professional attitude speaks for itself.

Its also in the way that she carries herself.

Chloe is about my height, thick waist with hips and a butt to match. Her breasts are just the right size for her frame.

Which she somehow reminds me of a Kate Winslet from Titanic. I thought when I first saw her. Not that I pictured her naked…

"Miss Isabelle, I'm heading out to get some grocery shopping done for tonight's dinner. Then I'll head over to pick up Elena from school." she said as she watched me. "Elizabeth is in her room playing. She's already had lunch. I left a snack for her on her nightstand, in case she gets hungry while I'm away…"

"Thank you Chloe." I smiled.

I don't know why I didn't agree to this sooner. I thought to myself as I nodded. She's a fantastic cook. Definitely better than me.

"Is there anything that you want me to get while I'm out Miss Isabelle?" she asked me as she held her pen and pad in hand, waiting for my response.

I shook my head. "No, thank you. I have everything that I need."

I couldn't help but wonder if she fantasized about Eric. I mean he is really something to look at. But then again, so is she.

Stop stressing yourself out over nothing. I told myself when for a brief moment, I imagined Eric screwing the help.

"Okay." she nodded as she slipped her pen and pad into her purse. "I'll only be gone for a few hours, three, the most." she said. "Are you sure you don't need anything?" she asked again. "Another pillow? Some water?"

I shooed her away as I shook my head. "Chloe, darling, I'm fine." I told her. "Just do what you set out to do. I'm sure I can hold down the fort while you're gone." I said with a smile. "I'm pregnant, not useless." I said. "And please, stop calling me Miss Isabelle. It feels weird because you're like…older than me."

I hope that I didn't just offend her.

"Well…" she paused to think. "…what do you want me to call you? You objected to Ms. Knight…"

I smiled at her, "Just Isabelle." I told her.

About ten minutes after Chloe had left, I checked in on Lizzy who was still playing in her room. She was drawing on her full length mirror with some white board markers I had bought her.

Weeks before, I found her drawing on my hallway walls with Elena's pencils, playing school. Of course I punished her for it.

She didn't really like scrubbing up the mess that she made. But then again, I was in no position to be on my hands and knees either.

The next week, I made a deal with her. I bought her whiteboard markers and told her that her mirror is the only thing that she can draw on when she wants to play school. And only her mirror. If I find drawings elsewhere, she will not only clean that up but that will be her weekly chore.

And so far, its worked.

"Lizzy honey, you okay?" I asked her from her doorway.

She glanced back at me. "Yes mommy. I'm playing school."

"Do you want anything?"

She shook her head, "No."

I cocked a brow, "No what, babe?"

She straightened up as she fully faced me, "No thank you, mommy." she said with a smile. "Miss Chloe left me and Benny snacks."

"Okay." I nodded. "I'll be in the living room, watching TV if you need me." I said. "And I'll be back to check in on you later, alright?"

"Yes, mommy."

It was a good hour later when I heard Lizzy having an argument. I quickly searched for the remote and muted the TV.

"-that!" she groaned. "I'm the teacher! You promised you would play my game!" she began yelling. I stood up immediately and quietly walked down the hall to her room, eavesdropping on her argument. "Well I'm tired of playing your game too." she continued. I peered into her room and saw Lizzy in front of her mirror. With her back to me, she began furiously drawing on her mirror. "If you erase this again, I wont play with you anymore." she said in a tone I've never heard before as she took a step back, throwing down her marker in pure frustration.

"Liz-" before I could finish calling out to her, the scribbles that she had just drawn was wiped away. I gasped, taking a step back. "Fudge."

Lizzy turned around and screamed out in frustration. "Mommy! Tell Benny to stop!" she cried. "He's making trouble when I'm trying to play!"

I was frozen. I didn't know what to do. I've been through things most haven't. I've seen a lot of shit. But this? I mean, I was beginning to think that maybe this whole imagination friend thing was truly just my imagination. That maybe I was obsessing over this to distract me from the fact that Gabe has moved on as well.

This isn't real.

Its not like I actually saw Benny.

Maybe Lizzy wiped it away herself. I told myself, trying my best to convince myself otherwise.

But deep down…I know what I saw. I may not be able to explain it without sounding like I've lost my mind, I may not even be able to describe who or what did happen. But I know the truth and that's all that matters.

Double fudge…this is real.

I did what I knew best and I ran. I grabbed Lizzy and I went to the one and only person who might have some kind of answers.

Amethyst.

"A ghost?" she repeated sounding less convinced each time she said it.

"Maybe ghost isn't the right term." I said, trying to find another word that best describes an unseen entity. "A spirit." I said as I nodded. "I've seen my grandmothers spirit once. She came to me in comfort."

Amy glanced between Lizzy and I and finally rested her eyes on me. "And this has nothing to do with Gabe?"

"No, Amy." I grunted. "I know what I saw. And I'm not sure if its safe to go home now."

She sighed heavily. "Well lets just say for a brief second that maybe I believed you…" she began. "I've seen enough scary movies to know that this spirit will follow." she said with a raised brow. "So thank you." she said with a fake smile. "Thank you so much for bringing that spirit here."

Lizzy stood up as she shook her head. "No, Benny isn't here."

Amy turned to Elizabeth. "Is that right?"

"And I'm putting my faith in a 4 year old because?"

"Well, this 4 year old is the only one who can actually see him."

"And that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy knowing my life is now in the hands of Lizzy."

"Amy." I groaned. "Help me."

She rolled her eyes as she fanned her hand at me, "Yeah yeah. Don't get your panties in a bunch." she said, as she walked out of the living room.

"One would have to actually be wearing them in order for anything to get bunched." I retorted.

From the hallway, I heard her gag. "Eew Bella! TMI!"

I took that time to call Chloe, canceling dinner and to let her know to drop Elena off here at Amy's. As for her services, she's taking a paid leave of absence until further notice.

I have to know what I'm dealing with before going home. I thought to myself as I waited on Amy. And how to get rid of it.

Fifteen minutes later, Amy still hadn't emerged with a plan.

Then from out of nowhere, Brad appeared in the living room.

Startled, I screamed before I could even form a thought. Lizzy, just as frightened, quickly jumped next to me as she buried her head behind me.

Amy ran out, carrying Declan as she frantically glanced around the room. "What? What's going on?"

Brad stepped back with his hands up. "Sorry Bella. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

I wrapped my arm around Lizzy as I ran my hand down her hair. "I almost had a heart attack." I laughed softly as I shook my head.

Amy quickly nudged her husband. "Damn it Brad! You scared the shit out of me too!" she grunted. Then she bit her lip as she mouthed a sorry when she realized she swore in front of Elizabeth. "What did you do anyway?"

He shrugged as he half grinned at her. "I forgot my keys." he chuckled. "Besides, I didn't see your car, I didn't think we had company…"

"We walked here." But before he could scold me, I quickly added. "It was an emergency."

He nodded. "So Amy told you about Cristiano?" he asked, glancing back at his wife with raised brows.

Amy nudged him again. "No, I didn't." she groaned. "But thank you for bringing it up."

"What about him?" I asked, curious.

"If its not about him, what was the emergency?" he asked, ignoring my question. Then his eyes widened. "Oh god, are you in labor?"

"No."

"Babe, I'll explain everything to you. Just follow me back to the office." Amy said immediately, turning on her heels as she disappeared down the hall with her husband following right behind.

"Lizzy, honey, its okay. It was just your uncle." I whispered as I continued to run my hand down her hair. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

She shook her head. "I don't want to look."

"Why?"

She pressed her body closer to mines. "I'm not ready." was all she said.

Oh, my baby.

By the time Amy returned, Lizzy had fallen asleep next to me watching movies.

"It took me longer than expected but this is what I've got so far." Amy began. "So this spirit child, he only revealed himself to Lizzy?"

I nodded. "As far as I know, yes."

"Well, we can get rid of him easily. We just need to find where he's buried and put his body to rest."

I crossed my arms over my belly. "You mean to tell me that you've spent the past three hours doing research and this is what you came up with?"

She shrugged. "No. I've spent the first half hour feeding Declan. Then Brad had gone paranormal on your ass." she reminded me. "I've spent the past hour and a half researching while Brad watched Declan." she said. "But anyways, I called my mom and that's what she told me. There's no spell or anything in the book because all spirits are dealt with differently."

"I know." I nodded. "But I don't know where he came from."

She sighed as she watched me. "Well, we know his name." she said as she pressed her lips. "That's a start."

"I think you mean that's more like a problem." I groaned.

I have a feeling we wont go home for a long while.

A/N: I got the whole concept about a little girl's imaginary friend from my younger sister. When she was about 8 or so, she had a friend. It was a young boy that she only saw through our closet mirror. My younger siblings use to play school on the mirror in a room that we shared && it would be many years later before she finally revealed to me what happened. That wiping away of the markings was what he did, amongst other things. Scary to think that such a thing could actually happen. But then again, I've experienced paranormal activity myself && thankfully, I've found a way to share it through my story :)) In due time, of course LOL.

Thank you all for reading! Its very much appreciated!
