Though judging by the looks she got from other trainers when she used Psy and Dar, they had similar evolution methods.
The brown Pokémon snuggled into his trainer. He adored her with all of his being.

"Eevee!" The small brown Pokémon sent the Pidgey flying. "Eev!" He trotted around with his chest out. A bright light surrounded the Pokémon and faded to reveal the Fairy type Eeveelution.
"Good, now let's stick you in a Box to never see the light of day.
So, after Christmas (maybe for if I'm lucky), I'm getting a 3DS and Pokémon Y.
I'm not, I'll be saving up GenCon in August… So I can get stuff.

Anyways, Yeah Sylveon's method is going to be a pain. It is pretty good Special stat wise.
Which is good since all but one Fairy type attack moves are Special attacks.
And there's a pretty good Fairy move pool, So, maybe Sylveon is all that much of a hassle.
