Chapter 4 is up! The main story starts here! I know it's mainly the love live of Ash and Anabel this story's title suggests, but I want to add some normal stuff in the Pokémon School and how Ash teaches the class as well! So sorry if you're looking for a one-shot, it's not, but thank you if you liked this story! On with it!

Chapter 4: The awkward meeting

"Anabel?"

The lilac-haired girl, whose name was called by our hero, stopped walking and looked at the young man who just called her name. She looked for the deepest bits in her memory. Who is this guy?

"Sorry, but I don't remember who you are."

"I'm Ash! I battled you in the battle frontier ten years ago Anabel! We had so much fun training and battling! Don't you remember me?"

Anabel shook her head. "Sorry, you should have got the wrong girl. Let's go, 100kr." She motioned Looker, and before he could tell Anabel who this man is, they were gone.

"Chief, he's Ash Ketchum, he helped me with my investigations against Team Galactic! The team who tried to mess with the world years ago, you remember?"

"Mr. Looker, I do. In a way I know him. And I know Team Galactic of course, I did read all cases and investigations of them, after all. But I don't think I have ever seen him in person…"

The duo walked towards the Pokémon School to pick Acerola up. The younger sister rushed to Anabel and hugged her.

"How's your day at school?"

"It's amazing! I met with a new teacher called Mr. Ketchum! THE Mr. Ketchum we saw in TV! He was so good in the Kalos league! I mean the Ash Ketchum who beat a mega Sceptile with a form-changing Greninja!" Acerola was excited to tell Anabel her teacher.

"Really? That's so nice!" Said Anabel, recalling the meeting with Ash, and how she called her by her name.

"Well, I'll be off then, I'll see you two tomorrow!" Looker smiled at the sisters while leaving the school.

"See you, Mr. Looker." Anabel smiled at his subordinate while taking out a pokéball. "Gardevoir, teleport!"

A white pokémon is formed from the blue light from the pokéball and she immediately glowed in light blue. Anabel and Acerola held Gardevoir's hands. The three of them disappeared from the school.

When Acerola opened her eyes again, they were in their usual village in Ula'ula Island.

Nanu had a glance at them before returning to the usual 'do not care' face. "You're back."

"Uncle Nanu! We're back! Listen, listen! Our school got another teacher today!" Acerola rushed to Nanu, and gave him another hug.

"Who is it?" Nanu, who shouldn't have bothered to answer the question, asked about it just because he just dosen't want to spoil the purple-haired girl's fun.

"It's THE Ash Ketchum! The one we saw on TV just a few days ago!"

"Oh, so he gave up on his elite four challenge?"

"I don't know that yet, but yes he is joining our class! I'm so excited!"

"I did meet him today as well, and out of nowhere he called out my name. I mean I don't remember knowing him at all." Anabel added.

Nanu's eyes widened.

"Sure I had amnesia and I lost all memories before I was 12, but…"

"He could know the past you. Talk to him if you want your memories back."

"I surely do."

"Just come to school and meet him sis, he's an amazing battler, and he looks like he know your past!"

"I'm not sure…"

Acerola really did took Anabel with her to school in the morning. They met Ash just in front of the school gates.

"Morning Acerola!" Greeted a cheerful Ash. "And Anabel?"

"She's my older sister Mr. Ketchum. She has got amnesia so she lost all her memories before 12."

"I see. Is it possible for me to talk to her alone, then?"

"Sure!" Acerola ran to his classroom. Leaving the two of them standing before the gates.

"Um… Hi." Both of them greeted each other at the same time. They laughed at the coincidence. "I'm Anabel."

"I know. I'm Ash."

"I know you as well. Runner-up of Kalos league."

"Stop mentioning that! I was unlucky not to win it!" Anabel laughed again.

"So… the Anabel 10 years ago… What did we do?"

"It's a long story. Should we meet after school so that I can tell you all of it?"

"Yeah. So 4?"

"At the shopping mall's café?"

"Perfect." They giggled again. "I'll see you then."

As Anabel was walking away, looking for Looker, she realized what Ash did. "Wait. Is that… a date?" Her cheeks puffed a shade of pink.

That's it for today! It's a relatively shorter episode, but the next would be even better, with Ash's first lesson and their first date! I'll try to update it as soon as possible, but before that, look forward to it! As usual I'll see you next episode!
