He was swimming until he reached where a human ship that had sunk many years ago. Going in and out of rooms and spaces, till he located the room with the solid objects with a handle on it. He grabbed one of them and went to return too Ichigo, though that was until he saw a school of tuna swimming by. He swam up and seized two small tunas. With them in hand, he was once again swimming back to Ichigo.

When he returned to the beach, he found that Ichigo was waiting for him to return; "I've got it." He yelled out scaring Ichigo out of his daze, making him jump up and stare towards the sea.

"Don't do that, you scared me." Ichigo said as he places a hand over his harshly pounding heart trying to get it to calm down.

"I got some tuna and a "pot"." He holds them up to show that he really did have them.

"No way, you've found a pot and some fish?" Ichigo ran into the water to get a proper look but stopped when the water hit his knees.

"What's wrong?" The other cocked his head in question.

"I can't go any further in the water." Ichigo said as he started to blush in embarrassment. "I'm, a…af…afraid of the water." Ichigo said as he started to step back.

"But I can't come in any further either..." He stops himself from finishing his sentence. He stopped to think about it for a minute. "Get back onto the shore; I'm gonna to throw the fish and the pot onto the shore." He warned.

"Okay." Ichigo agreed as he moved back to the shore, waiting for the other to throw the pot and fish.

When he saw that Ichigo had move back to the shore, he threw the fish and the pot, which landed about a foot away from Ichigo's left foot.

Ichigo jumped away from the flopping fishes. Once he had them in his hands, he moved towards the fire, and he laid them down. Letting go of one of the fish; while he grabbed a stick and stabbed the other in the head, killing it instantly.

"You showed mercy to a fish?" He said in surprised voice.

"Of course, I don't want them to suffer." Ichigo said as he killed the other as well.

"Oh well, I'm dead anyway." The other said offhandedly.

Ichigo heard what his new friend said. "Oh okay, wait... what?" Ichigo looked back to where his friend was just a moment ago. He watched the sea carry the other onto the shore and as it left him onto the beach. Ichigo saw a long pure white tail. He just stared as the pure white mermaid… No merman, sit up on his tail as if he was kneeling.

The pale one was watching Ichigo closely for any threatening movements, but none came. The young man just had surprise look on his face as he fell onto his ass, while pointing at the merman.

"Your... your... a merperson?!" Ichigo tried to say when his voice failed him.

"Yes Ichigo, I'm a mer." He watched as Ichigo looked at him like he just saw a ghost. Well in his case a mer.

"Wait, how do you know my name?" Ichigo asked.

"Hello! earth to Ichigo. I saved your ass ten years ago, remember?"

Ichigo looked at him as he realized that this was the boy from his dreams. "Hichigo Shirosaki?"

"Just call me Shiro." The almost albino said as he pointed to himself. "Trust me it's an honor to call me Shiro. Only special people are aloud to call me that. You are the fourth person that can call me that." He said a little too proudly.

"What happen to you, when you got home? What did they do to you? What kind of punishment did you get?" Ichigo just wanted to ask the other million questions all at once.

"One question at a time there Ichi, I can only answer one of them at a time any ways." Hichigo tried to calm Ichigo down. Taking a deep breath, he started to speak again. "Well to answer your first of many questions. After I left you to hide from the adult human, my big bother Grimmjow grabbed my tail to drag me home to talk to the elders about what just happen."

"You have an older brother?" Ichigo interrupted Hichigo once again, only to prove that more interruptions were to come in the future.

"Ichigo, I just told you one question at a time, and yes I do but I'll get to him later." Taking another deep breath as he started up again. "On the way to talk to the elders, my older brother gave me a lecture about how humans are, how they will kill us, or eat us or some other crap as well. I tried to swim on my own, but Grimmjow would not have any of it. So I had to let him drag me back to our home on the bottom of the sea.

When I was brought to the elders Grimmjow explained what had happen, and how I had saved a human child, and that you had lied to the adult that picked you up." Hichigo took this time to stop for the moment and stretch out his tail. He placed his hands on the each side of his hips and lifted himself up. He pulled his tail out from under himself and splayed it in front of himself. Moving the base of the fin up and down to get the crapped muscles to relaxe.

"Are you okay?" Ichigo asked when Shiro finish moving his tail.

"Yeah, I'm just not used to the land." He answered without looking up.

"But you can go back in the sea if you need to?" Ichigo inquires.

"No, it's okay. I'm waiting to dry out anyway." Shiro said as he feels his tail to see how dry it was.

"Why?"

"Once I dry out for the first for that lease one full moon cycle time, I can use my magic and spilt my fins into legs to walk on land, just like you. However, it's a pain in the ass, it hurts till I split my tail into legs. However, to answer the question that you wanted to ask; if we are beached, we can get back to the sea and don't have to wait for a high tide or the next large storm. It helps to keep humans from thinking that we are anything else other than another human, or at least until we can hide away." Shiro said with a smile that formed with each word because he was almost dried out.

Ichigo watched Shiro as he moves his hands to the center of his tailfin. He pressed in with his fingers, Ichigo saw the tailfin had started to split apart. Once his legs formed, Shiro started to bend his newly form knees back and forth.

"Well, back to what I was saying. The elders knocked me around for a while and after that I got the same lecture that I had gotten from Grimmjow. They chained me by my tail to a rock by my home where my parents could keep an eye on me to make sure I stayed alive. My parents pulled the guilt trip on me as well, about how I had dishonored them and how ashamed they were of me. They did a good job on makeing me feel like crap. Though, they did say that I did the right thing in human terms, just not ours. So I stayed chained there for about six full moon phases. It took me a bit of time to be able to swim against the current again because of the chain that was on my tailfin. After I got the ability to swim against the current, I wasn't allowed to leave the my parents sight or Grimmjow's. That was about the severity of my punishment.

Now on to your next question, my brother Grimmjow has a azure tail. His eyes are also the same azure color with teal markings under them. He's also about ahead and half to longer than me. His skin tone is dark like you humans. It's almost like you stayed too long in the sun. I guess they call it sun-kissed skin. Have you stayed in the sun too long or that's just your natural coloring?" Shiro now was starting to ask his own questions.

"First off people who stayed out in the sun too long tend to get what is called a sunburn, that's when the skin turns red and painful. After a few days the top layer of the skin that has been burned would start to peel off. In my case this is my natural skin tone. Though, I don't know where I got my color from. You looked like to be an albino mer. Is there anyone else in your family that's also albino?" Ichigo's answer turned into a question at the end.

"Okay, so that's your natural coloring." He ended up muttering to himself. "I don't know if any of my family is an albino, I was adopted." Shiro watched as Ichigo's eyes quickly turned from curiosity to sadness.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know. I hope I didn't bring up any bad memories." Ichigo apologized as he bowed his head hoping he didn't offend his new friend.

"No, it's okay. I don't remember it my real parents. My parents told me that they had found me swimming around a dead coral reef deep in the sea. Though, Grimmjow doesn't look like his parents and they are his real parents. Now, new subject, what have you been doing for the past 10 years?" Shiro asked as he stood up so his legs would stop cramping up.

Ichigo blushed as he saw Shiro in the buff. Ichigo averted his eyes towards the fire.

"What? Did I do something wrong? Why your face red? Are you okay? Are you sick? Is there anything I can do?" Shiro went over to Ichigo lifting the boys face to meet him eye to eye.

Ichigo's chocolate brown eyes met with golden eyes swimming in darkness and he just blushed even deeper.

It then occurs to him that Ichigo was embarrassed. "What are you embarrassed about?"

"Well," Ichigo trailed off, trying to say why he was blushing in the first place. "It's... um that... being naked is a little unusual while you're outside. Sorry I didn't mean anything by it it's just I'm not used to it."

"Oh, is that all," Shiro gave off a shit eating grin that appeared across his face. "Do you see anything you like?"

He just watched as Ichigo was blush went from strawberry pink to a deep crimson red blush that spred from ear to ear and down his neck. "I'll take that as a compliment. So, if it's a problem for me to be naked, I have no clothes, why don't you just ditch your's and be naked with me?"

Ichigo turned away to try to hide the crimson red blush that was still trying to get deeper. He glanced back at Shiro and saw the grin had not left his face yet.

"Okay, that make's sense… I guess." Ichigo said as he started to pull his torn shirt off. Showing off his sun-kissed chest, while he started to pull down his shorts off till he kicked them off about a foot away from his feet.

"Why are you afraid of the water?" Shiro asked as he sat next to the other and pulled Ichigo down to sit next to him.

"Well that night that you save me, I had forgoten what had actually happened, I guess I scared myself into thinking that my lie was the truth."

"I see, that make sense. I could help you with your swimming lessons." Shiro said, right before he gave Ichigo a kiss on his cheek.

Ichigo blushed again, "I know how to swim you ass! I just can't go into the deep water."

"Well if you're afraid of drowning, just remember I won't let that happen. I'll just keep on saving you until we fix that fear of yours." Shiro said as he pulled Ichigo into a kiss, full on the lips.

Ichigo just kept on blushing as he close his eyes and started to kiss back.

Feeling Ichigo kiss back, Shiro tries not to smirk into the kiss, Instead he place's his hand on the back of Ichigo's neck to deepen the kiss. He lightly nipped Ichigo's lower lip, with his free hand, he squeeze's Ichigo' ass causing him gasp in surprise, allowing Shiro's tongue to enter his mouth, mapping out Ichigo's mouth with his light navy blue tongue.
