Artemis was board, she had been summoned to a council meeting and, for the last 5 minutes, had been listening to her father drone on about the importance of 'unity' and whatnot. Then he sent Hermes to go and get some one as to who she had no idea, but apparently it was important to the war. Then... It walked in, unbound and freely.
Artemis stood up drawing her bow and firing two arrows. Only for them to be caught in the creature's hands. Suddenly, quicker than Artemis could even see, it drew both of its single edged blades, and surged froward and pinned her against a column twin swords in an X across her neck Disarmed she said,
"I surrender"
"You would be wise to remind yourself of the true outcome of our last battle, and remind the hunt as well."
Silence followed, until Zeus broke it,
"We brought you here because we would like to hire you"
The αψεγάδιας spoke,
"My price is the same as it was last time, Olympian."
"We cannot allow that." Zeus replied,
"Then I shall walk out these doors and go to the Titians who I am sure will be more than happy to pay my price." It said,
"We cannot allow that either." Zeus stated
"Those are your only two options, I will give you 30 minutes to reach a conclusion." The αψεγάδιας said, while vanishing from sight.
"What do we do now?" Athena asked
"We need to decide how powerful he is and if there is any reason in denying him what he asks." Hermes said,
"Hephestus you have hired him more than anyone else you probably have the best idea of how powerful he is." Athena said,
"Yes I do, and there is no point in denying him his payment, he does not use his power for his own gain. Make no mistake however, he could wipe out Olympus if he wanted to." Hephestus said cryptically.
"If he is already powerful enough to wipe out Olympus, and he hasn't, what is the point in denying it the price it requests." Apollo said.
At this Artemis was livid, "You can't seriously be considering reasoning with that creature!?"
"If we do not he will side with the Titians and that would garentee us a loss in this war" Athena said, "We should pay his price no matter what it is." She finished,
Zeus looked at his best strategist, knowing that she was right but still jealous that there was a being more powerful than himself. He said,
"We will pay his price, that is final."
"Good" a low growling voice said, it was the αψεγάδιας,
"How did you get in here?" Artemis asked,
"The door." The αψεγάδιας
"We have accepted your terms" Zeus said, "you will now go to camp half-blood, to await further instructions."
"Very well" the αψεγάδιας said, "You also know what happens if you don't pay" it continued.
The walked out of Olympus and the doors were open long enough for the gods to see the αψεγάδιας calmly walk f the edge of the floating island.
Phoebe was annoyed, she was annoyed by the campers, she was annoyed by the Hunter asking about what happened inside Artemis's tent. But ironically she was not annoyed by the αψεγάδιας she was, though she would never admit it, scared, she was scared of what that creature was capable of. She had been helpless to stop the creature from killing her sisters, 314 of here best friends were killed that night.
Suddenly a figure came appeared on half-blood hill, the αψεγάδιας then another figure flashed next to it. It was Lady Artemis! but what was she doing with that creature, until she realized it had been hired by Olympus to fight in the war. Suddenly her mind jumped to an absurd conclusion, what if the αψεγάδιας had been assigned to be guardian of The Hunt no, that was ridiculous. It had probably had been assigned to camp half-blood and as Artemis was already going to go there she would introduce the αψεγάδιας to the camp.
They reached the center of camp, only to be swarmed by campers as well as huntresses, until a path was cleared for Chiron to trot through.
"Lady Artemis, what brings you here, and why is he allowed anywhere near my camp?" He asked almost disgustedly,
"I am here to take care of my Hunters, and the αψεγάδιας has been hired by Olympus to protect the camp and fight in the war if need be." Artemis replied, though equally disgusted.
"Very well, will you be staying for the Capture the Flag game tonight?" Chiron asked,
"Yes though I will not be partaking in the game myself." Artemis replied,
"Will the αψεγάδιας be playing?" Chiron inquired, then waited for a response from the figure.
"Yes, I shall side with the campers as the Hunt would not cooperate." The αψεγάδιας said, speaking for the first time.
"Are you calling my hunters uncooperative?" Artemis asked,
"Yes" the αψεγάδιας said,
Artemis was sneaking to the αψεγάδιας's camp and was still thirty yards away when she heard
"Well done Artemis not many can get that close without escaping my notice" coming from the woods
She dashed the rest of the thirty yards to find the αψεγάδιας sitting in a dirt clearing there were pebbles in a circle around it, they were rising into the air by about six inches until smoothly lowering to the ground. She stood and stared at the small display of power until,
"Is there a reason you are here?" The αψεγάδιας asked in his low growling voice
"Yes there is" Artemis replied
"And that would be..." The αψεγάδιας continued.
"I came to ask you why you massacred the hunt when it was at the height of it's numbers" Artemis asked almost timidly,
"Ah, that is a long story" the αψεγάδιας replied,
