"Ciel another child was found murdered," Elizabeth said calmly yet with a hint of sadness in her voice walking in the study," it was a seven year girl. She was found in the same alley as the other child."
The Earl sighed sadly, this case was becoming quite emotional for him but this was an order from her Majesty who was also a mother. This wasn't making any sense, according to the undertaker, all the children were killed as if someone had an untold amount of rage within him or her.
The inner thoughts of the Earl were quickly interrupted when a loud crash erupted from the hallway outside. It was later followed by a small squeak, the squeak of a little child. This caused both individuals to immediately leave the study and venture towards the source of the noise.
It was there they both found little Rosella sitting on the carpet floor with a crying Finnian at her side. Next to the pair was a broken vase and a small gray mouse squeaking as if it were laughing at the duo's misfortune.
This caused the Earl to raise his voice, "What on earth are you two doing?!"
The gardener winced at the sound of his master's tone, "I'm sorry master it was-"
"Get back here you bastard!" Rosella hollered as she jumped up on her feet and gave chase to the mouse who chose the chance to run away from the commotion.
It did not last long though as Ciel had grabbed the child from the back of her dark green dress.
"Young lady," He spoke with the dark tone Elizabeth would hear during assignments. This may not end well.
The tone made the little one tremble, "Y-yes?"
"What have I told you about using that kind of foul language?"
"Ciel," Elizabeth called to him in a soft tone.
"Not now Elizabeth," The Earl silenced her, not taking his eyes of the child he was to discipline.
Without a word, he picked up the child by her dress and carried her to the study leaving the lady of the house to resolve the situation in the hallway.

Rosella landed on her feet after Ciel dropped her in the study.
Ciel stood in front of her pinching the bridge of his nose, "You know little one, I have the present of mind to leave you in the streets again if you continue to speak in your foul language."
That threat did not faze the child instead it made her alert with cheerfulness, "Splendid idea! Let's do that."
"What?"
Rosella crossed her arms, "Send me back. At least I can do whatever I want over there than here!"
For the past two weeks, Rosella's life in the manor was filled with nothing but lessons and schedules. She was to wake up at seven in the morning by the nice maid and be ready for breakfast before seven-fifteen. After breakfast she was to attend her lessons of reading and writing along with speech lessons that would last from eight o'clock to eleven-thirty. Lunch was to be served in the library at noon and must be finished within thirty minutes before music lessons.
As if Rosella knew how play that inferno piano!
Music lesson would last until five o'clock and that was when dinner was to be prepared and served. It is only until after dinner would the child have time for herself-which was brief. And then after dinner it was time for her to practice her reading until bath time at seven thirty. Afterwards, bedtime at eight sharp with the cycle repeating the next morning.
Strict schedules and being told what to do and what not to do was something Rosella was not used too. Ciel knew of this but wanted to ensure that the child be given some stability before leaving her with a suitable family when this case was over.
The two humans glared at each other with deep stubbornness until the doors opened.
"Master, I have brought your afternoon tea," It was Sebastian wheeling in a cart.
Something about him made Rosella feel rather uneasy, his demeanor and smile often gave her chills. Instead of acknowledging him, rosella simply just toddled away from the study in an attempt to get away from her host.
But Sebastian caught her by her dress and lifted her to his eye level, "I was wondering where you went off to young lady. Running off just when music lesson was about start."
All Rosella could do was glare.
