Brutalight's shadow seems to fall upon the clearing in a more massive size that shadows sometimes do and he turns enough that doing the best he can you can see his mouth move in the shadow. His words dark and ominous but his tone is calm with a hint of something darker. "I never thought you were essential. You're crude and unspeakably plain. But maybe you have a glimmer of potential." He pauses for a second. "If aligned with my vision and brain." He then starts hoping down an almost staircase like thing of rocks as some music plays. His feet land on the ground.
Once he's back in the clearing there is some hums.
With each hum a new person arrives.
The first hum LawPerfidy arrives.
The second hum ShoutingRiver arrives.
The third hum Automateevas arrives.
The fourth and last hum Covetidner and Pillsuda arrive.
They all arrive from the more south direction but enough space to kind of make a half circle.
Brutalight is by the back right corner but as the others were arriving he moved towards them so he is right by them when he continues. "I know that your powers of retention are as cold as the night gates of hell." He sings and as he sings 'Are as cold as the night gates of hell.' He pauses to turn his head to look ShoutingRiver in the eyes before turning back to his walking as he continues. "But thick as you are." He pauses again as he turns to Covetidner who seems to have become distracted with a gem on the ground. "Pay attention!" He snaps slamming a foot between Covetidner and the gem making her slightly jump only to look to him as he continues on walking again. "My words are the key to excel." He smirks as he sings those words. He then circles around LawPerfidy who does his best to follow the other's movements with his head as if watching the other. "It's clear from your lustful sensations." He has a slight purr in his voice. He stops on LawPerfidy's left. His eyes show a look of warmth. "Your simple and doubt will understand." He sings with a slight purr still there as he puts a finger under LawPerfidy's chin. He then gently trails his finger along the underside of LawPerfidy's chin as he walks away only to have his hand drop back to his side once it is no longer touching LawPerfidy. He then continues singing no purr in his voice. "But we're talking worlds and dimensions." He moves back towards Pillsuda who is holding a pill bottle in his mouth. He gets a slight glare on his face then he moves swiftly close nose to nose making Pillsuda drop the pill bottle as he speaks with a slight growl. "Even YOU can't ignore my demands." He then pulls away and walks away.
Pillsuda slightly gives Brutalight a look of 'really!? Did you have to do that?' then he bends down picking up the pill bottle putting it back in his mouth looking to it as best as he can with an insane want.
"So prepare for the chance of a life time." Brutalight continues. "Be prepared for sensational news. A gleaming new era is tip toeing nearer." He does a slight creeping kind of few steps as he sings about the gleaming new era tip toeing nearer.
LawPerfidy takes a step forward. "And where do we feature?" He asks.
Brutalight quickly moves back to standing in front of LawPerfidy as he sings the next part with a slight seductive tone and he gently grips the other's chin. "Just listen to teacher." He then let's go of the raven moving away to continue no longer in a seductive tone. "I know it sounds sorted but you'll be rewarded when at last I am given my dues!" He smirks widely. "And in this justice deliciously squared! Be prepared!" He slightly raises his hands that are clenched into fists showing power and evil in his stance.
Pillsuda, who had finished consuming the pills with the pill bottle now on the ground forgotten, now speaks. "Hahaha be prepared. Yes we'll be prepared." He looks excited and into it then pauses only for his expression to change to confused. His eyes are cast downwards as his expression changes but they look back up to Brutalight. "But for what?" He questions.
"For the death of the elements." Brutalight gestures a hand towards Light.
"But isn't that us?" ShoutingRiver questions raising an eyebrow and looking like he's wondering if Brutalight is going insane well the kind of delusional insanity since they are already insane in their own ways.
Brutalight shakes his head slightly. "No you fool. Not anymore." His expression changes to a more what people would call smooth look in a way. "We're brand new."
The other elements of insanity seem to like that response.
Automateevas smiles as if thinking 'Aw yeah!'. "Ha! Great idea! One heart one life we're nothing to them." He slightly shakes his head as if to emphasize what he's saying only to look back to Brutalight.
Brutalight's eyes narrow in anger. "BLODDY ONCE!" He snaps. "There will be no elements."
Automateevas looks a little confused. "Isn't their hea-"
Brutalight interrupts him. "We'll steal their lives." He moves to a little in front of the cage Light is in but he is facing the elements of insanity. "Stick with me and we'll become GODS with no end." He stands tall and proud as he says this.
LawPerfidy blinks and his eyes only open to half way as he has a slight purr in his voice. "Ohh. I can get used to that." He then blinks again this time opening his eyes to a more insane, evil way look. "Lead the way, take us to GLORY!" He says GLORY as he slightly stamps a foot on the ground as well as making his knife appear with an evil and insane smirk.
Covetidner smiles and places a hand on her chest closing her as she now adds her own part with the others turning to her. "I'll finally gain all that I wanted! Despite my quite cruel dispatch."
Brutalight slightly paces in front of them. "Of course with prequel you're expected. To take risks that might leave nasty scars. The future is littered in prizes. And though I'm the main justly. The point that I must emphasize is. YOU'LL BE DEAD IF YOU GO WITHOUT ME!" He continues to sing and the others kind of are the background echo. "So prepare for the cruel of the century! Be prepared for the good elements deaths. Take magic that's born."
The others begin singing something else no longer in the background making Brutalight's words hard to properly understand. "We have power. Lots of power. On repeat that for beat." They then tone it down to a kind of back ground "Ohh's" for a moment or so as Brutalight continues.
Brutalight doesn't seem to care that his words were drowned out for a few moments as he continues as if they hadn't been. "The dispatch and the bloodshed. And be seen for the wonder we are!" His next singing verse goes with only a small sing-song kind of cheer at the first two words or so at the longest before it's silent. "Yes my weapon and ambitions are bared. Be prepared!"
Others along with Brutalight all finish together now. "Yes our weapons and ambitions are bared. Be PREPARED!" They all go into evil insane laughter.
"Who are you really?" Matsuda questions with a glare as he grips the bars slightly pushing his face against it.
Brutalight turns back to mostly face Light as the rest also turn to look in the general direction the others are pretty much in. He crosses his arms over his chest looking proud. "Well you see all of us are quite powerful in this world." He slightly glances over his shoulder to LawPerfidy sharing a smile as their eyes meet before they turn back to the trapped people. "We were once the elements of harmony." His lips curve into an insane evil smirk. His arms unfold to slightly spread out like someone who thinks they are a God would do or someone evil would do to show power. "Now what you see before you are the new and improved elements of insanity."
The others, the other elements of insanity, also have evil and insane smirks as Brutalight speaks.
There is a sudden breeze that ruffles their clothes just right almost like in a movie.
"The elements of insanity?" Ide raises an eyebrow.
"That's right." Brutalight says. He puts a hand to his chest closing his eyes gesturing to himself this way. "Malevolent."
"Venally." LawPerfidy does the same.
"Deception." ShoutingRiver too.
"Greed." Covetidner as well.
"Wrath." Pillsuda also joins in.
"Belligerent." Automateevas finishes and does a slightly fist pump after the gesture.
The elements of insanity drop their arms to their sides and open their eyes going back to standing normally, well normal in a way that is normal to them.
"What changed you?" Near asks slightly gripping one bar with one hand.
"It's a long story." Brutalight says. "A story we don't have time for so I'll say this. This world has a certain magical charm to it." He turns so his side is facing the others pretty much and does a slight thinking movie pose. "Now." He says and lowers his hand from his chin as he raises his head opening his eyes. "We will become Gods!"
The evil and insane smirks return.
Brutalight turns to the others. "I believe that we should have a little fun though." He says with a smirk that makes you know right away he's planning trouble. "Don't you all?"
The others make sounds of agreement.
Brutalight's smirk widens and he turns to Light. He uses his magic and the cage vanishes. "A little game." He says. "You will run and if you find a way to escape your chaser your friends will be released." He takes a step forward. "It's a fair deal. Now then." He stares right at Light confident. "Run. Run little boy."
Light is about to try to reason with Brutalight to get the other to agree to let out the others without someone possibly getting hurt.
Then Brutalight throws his sword at Light just barely missing since Light managed to move back in time.
"I said run!" Brutalight hisses after he calls his sword back to him with magic. "Before we call it off and kill you here."
"Go Light." L says. "There's a better percent of you staying alive if you run. We'll be ok. Just go and try to stay alive."
Light glances to L but then he turns seeing movement just barely missing getting his by the sword. "I promise I'll come back for you guys." He says then turns and dashes off into the forest.
Brutalight lets his sword disappear. "There we go now it's time for the game to begin." He turns to the elements of insanity. "Covetidner?" He asks looking to her.
"I was thinking of going to make sure I'll be looking great for when we become Gods." Covetidner responds. "Of course if you want me to do it then I will Brutalight."
Brutalight turns to Pillsuda. "Pillsuda?"
Pillsuda plops onto his back not even noticing he's been spoken to as he's distracted by a bottle of pills.
Brutalight gives him a 'seriously?!' look then he throws his sword he made appear so it digs into the ground by Pillsuda's head making the other pause in slight fear with the bottle also being chopped in half as pills fall from the new open part.
Brutalight sighs softly then turns to Automateevas. "Automateevas?"
"There has been recent illegal machinery activity in a part of the town not far from here." Automateevas says. "I thought you'd want me to check it out." He adds turning his left into a gun in view of everyone paying attention.
Brutalight looks away turning so his side is facing them looking thoughtful. "There isn't much we can do about all that and some of you probably wouldn't be athletic enough to continue chasing then to kill." He says mostly to himself but out loud as everyone can hear as long as you listen. "And since me and LawPerfidy will also be busy getting ready for the take overs we'll be too busy to do the chasing." He continues and turns so his back is to the elements of insanity. "So that would leave..." He stops and his face changes to a 'oh great.' Look only for him to sigh softly as his face changes to 'ugh fine.'.
During this ShoutingRiver has moved closer and is slightly leaving forward to be slightly over Brutalight then he raises and eyebrow... with a facial expression screaming that he knows what's going to happen but is waiting for it to actually come.
Brutalight glances down slightly. "This is going to end up messier than I planned..." He says still out loud then he turns to ShoutingRiver who quickly has moved to stand normally only to act as if not sure what's going to happen. "ShoutingRiver." He begins and ShoutingRiver slightly tilts his head. "Would you do the honors of chasing him down?"
ShoutingRiver pretends to be surprised then smirks with evil content. "Why of course I can." He says.
"Get the job done." Brutalight walks a few steps forward only to put a hand on ShoutingRiver's shoulder as he pauses. He gives a warning look to the other letting him silently know he must follow orders. "Kill him if you see fit but if possible bring him to me alive so I may strike him down." His hand slides off ShoutingRiver's shoulder. "We will use them to go to the other worlds and it'll work better if we kill the ones that are the same person we were before we changed. That's why I hope you'll bring him alive." He continues to stare into ShoutingRiver's eyes in warning. "Do I make myself clear?"
"Oh don't you worry Brutalight." ShoutingRiver gives a smirk. "You can trust me with this hunt."
Brutalight nods and walks away.
The others separate going their different ways with only LawPerfidy following someone and that someone is Brutalight.
ShoutingRiver is about to begin his quest to find Light but then a voice speaks.
"Hold on ShoutingRiver."
ShoutingRiver turns and finds MetierKeehl standing there.
ShoutingRiver turns to fully face him. "MetierKeehl." He greets the other. "What can I do for you?"
MetierKeehl walks over to ShoutingRiver stopping to stand in front of him.
The two's eyes lock.
"Well you don't seem quite ready for a hunt." MetierKeehl speaks.
"Well I'm sure I don't need much. As you know very much I don't need a weapon to kill." ShoutingRiver responds.
MetierKeehl nods with a smile of affection. "Yeah I know. You're talented that way." He quickly switches back to serious. "But I just heard that…. Um…. That a storm might be on it's way." He says.
"The storms haven't been bad." ShoutingRiver says.
"Yeah. But maybe you should have a little something extra just to make sure you'll stay warm?" MetierKeehl takes a step closer and wraps a black scarf around ShoutingRiver's neck. "You know just in case." He says with a very slight blush.
ShoutingRiver smiles. He knows what's going on but he still acts a little naïve. "Quite. Thank you MetierKeehl." He leans in and gives the other a kiss on the cheek before turning walking away.
MetierKeehl heavily blushes.
ShoutingRiver now begins his quest to go find Light and if it comes down to it kill him.
"You like him!" Matsuda says in a teasing voice.
MetierKeehl quickly regains his composer and turns to Matsuda. "Frankly. That is none of your business." He says defensively.
"Oh come on. It's so obvious." Matsuda continues his teasing but stops when he's staring right at the barrel of MetierKeehl's gun.
"One more word and I'll shoot." MetierKeehl growls. "I don't care if Brutalight will kill me or not. One more word and you're dead."
Matsuda raises his hands in surrender then pretends to zip his mouth closed.
MetierKeehl backs off putting his gun away. "You're lucky that Brutalight wants us to leave you alive for now." He says. "Or I would have already shot you." He turns and walks off muttering going in the direction ShoutingRiver went in.
Light in the meantime slows down when he starts to get out of breath. He stops and puts a hand on the tree only to glance back. He looks around himself and sees no one so he let's himself relax for a moment. "Who could be the one chosen to chase me?" He wonders out loud only to shake his head. "No. I must focus. I need to make sure to lose my chaser then head back for the others." He begins walking deciding to save his strength for when he really needs it. He keeps on high alert as he walks glancing side to side sometimes even behind himself.
The silence is eerie.
