"How have you been coping with this guys? Having a baby around the house mustn't be easy?" McGee asked and we smiled at each other
"Its been hard but we've had each other to fall on and besides its not like she was that difficult with late nights or anything, she sleeps like an angel and she's such a blessing to be around I haven't been more happy with Tony than I am now with him and Arnika" I said and everyone beamed at me and I blushed. I didn't talk much about my feelings so when I did they still looked at me funny. Tony placed his hand in mine
"I agree she has been such a blessing to have and Ziva really knows her stuff" Tony said and I blushed deeper this time
"Thats cause of my little sister Tali, my father would go away alot and I was left with my mum to look after Tali, she was so sweet and adorable and I miss her so much" I sobbed and Tony pulled me in for a hug, whispering in my ear that I was fine and I nodded, I knew I was alright but I really didn't want to be a mess in front of our friends
"Its alright Ziva nothings going to happen" Gibbs said from my other side and I nodded
"I know its just hard to talk about my little sister and my mum , they were the best to me and I lost them both, sure it was hard to lose Ari and my father but it was harder to lose my mum and Tali, so much more harder. I loved them both so much" I said and Tony wrapped his arms around me pulling me tighter to his side.
When everyone left we got dinner sorted and had Arnika up and playing with her new toys. It was so interesting to see that in such a short spacce of time she had changed our lives for better, I mean Tony had proposed and then we had married and now we were one big happy family and it was all because of the little bundle that we now had inour lives that had caused our happiness. It had been a year since Tony and I had started dating, man how a year changed everything so quickly. I left Tony in the kitchen and went to play with Arnika, we played with her little toy animals and she was cackling as I made funny noises at her, it was such a sweet sound, when she started lookng up at me I picked her up in my arms and hugged her close, before I tickled her and the little giggles that left her mouth were the cutest sound ever.
"What's all this noise for?" Tony asked walking in from the kitchen and I smiled before tickling Arnika again and he smiled
"She's such a cutie" he said and came over to our side and kissed the top of my head and then kissed Arnika's before he announced
"Dinners ready" I smiled handing him Arnika so that I could get up.
"Come on princess, daddy'll put you in your high chair so you can eat your spaghetti and meat balls" Tony whispered to her and I smiled kissing his check as I walked past and sat in my seat.
Putting Arnika to bed was a breeze, today had been a big day for her and all the attention she had gotten was more than just a little overwhelming even though she saw everyone everyday of her life, but when all their attention was on her, spoiling her and treating her like a princess then I guess it would wear anyone out really, I mean I was exhausted and I had just had to watch her have fun and make conversation. So I got into bed and Tony pulled me into his warm embrace, his mascuine smell and soft warm skin lulled me to sleep and just as I lost the fight between being awake and asleep I felt Tony kiss the top of my head and heard him whisper
"Good night Mrs DiNozzo", something that neither one of us tired of hearing, I smiled as I drifted off to sleep. Nothing disturbing my peaceful sleep whilst I was wrapped up in Tony's arms.
A/N: I know its not very long but I tried so hard to think of something to write for this and it was hard. I had spent so much time avoiding writing it that I forgot what I had written so I had to re-read it just to get the motivation to write it. Anyway I hope you liked it!
