Chapter 3 Leaving the Cullens
"Does anyone else want to read?" Jasper asked through clenched teeth. He was angry that he allowed these people to change him into someone else.
"Um, no. This is your mate, you deserve to read about her," Carlisle stated frowning. He didn't know how he was going to get through this journal with every mistake getting thrown in his face.
"Actually, I think it's best that you read the journal with Bella, Peter, and Charlotte. They are your family, we're not," Alice explained. She has always known that Jasper wouldn't be with them long.
Jasper was gonna say something but before he could say anything his phone rang.
"What Peter?" he asked.
"Come to Seattle, Major. Char and I are already at Bella's Penthouse. She's waiting," they heard him say. Everyone frowned when they saw Jasper smile a real smile for the first time in the last fifty years. They knew he was never happy but they didn't know how much until now.
"I'm on my way," he said as he picked up his keys and the journal.
"Oh, and don't bring any of those fancy ass clothes," Peter as they heard laughing in the background.
"I won't," Jasper said before hanging up.
"I guess this it," Emmett said frowning. He knew they failed Jasper and he didn't know how they could fix it.
"Yeah. Goodbye," Jasper said before speeding to his truck and leaving.

When Jasper got to Seattle he wasn't even surprised to see Peter stopped at a stop light.
"Get in," he stated when he stopped.
"Go straight and turn left, then stop at the tallest building on the street. There's underground parking in Bella's building," Peter directed.
When they got to Bella's building they saw the girls already outside waiting.
Jasper was stunned at how beautiful his mate was. She had the most beautiful shade of brunette wavy waist length hair. It was chestnut brown.
Her eyes were gorgeous chocolate brown, he didn't even have to feel her emotions to see how she was feeling. Her eyes were windows to how she was feeling.
She was tiny compared to him. She was 5'4 while he was 6'1. She was perfect.
"Well, it's about time," Charlotte said as she hugged her big brother. She loved him and hated it when he left.
"Hey Char," he said before heading to his beautiful mate.
"I guess I didn't have to wait another year," Bella said smiling as she threw her arms around his neck.
"I guess not," he breathed against her lips before closing the gap between them.
We were connected in the most earth-shattering kiss ever known. He teased her bottom lip, so she eagerly let him deepen their kiss. There was no battle for dominance; no one was weaker or stronger. There was just Jasper and Bella in a dance as old as time⦠and what a dance it was.
