Green Lantern's Time

Link was ready to talk to the Guardians. He simply had to go over to them, and introduce himself.
Compared to other actions he had done, this would be as simple as herding rams.
He walked up to the counsel, and took in in awe the appearances of the Guardians.
"Welcome, new recruit. It is with great pleasure to introduce you to the Green Lantern Corps." One of them spoke.
"Indeed. Lin-Lah was a great member. If he had chosen you to be his successor, then you must a great being, young man."
So, that was his name.
Regardless...
"I'm afraid that's not the reason I came to talk to you about."
"Oh, what is it then?"
"My home might be in trouble. I wish to at least help."
"Out of the..."
"NO! It is not out of the question, my home might be being attacked. It happened before, and I will not have it happen again."
"You are still a new recruit!"
"Indeed, but I am also a hero in Hyrule. If you will not let me go, I'll go anyway."
"You would dare?"
"Did Hal Jordan dare?"
The Guardians were silenced.
Link scoffed, and flew off.
"Hmm, he is much like Jordan."
"Yes, a wild card, and and being that does good, regardless."
"Perhaps we should let him leave?"
"He already has."
The Guardians looked on as a green light faded into space.
Zelda held onto her sword as a yellow club landed on the blade.
"How about you give up before things get a little ugly for you?" The Yellow Lantern said.
"You bring fear to many, but fear will not stop me from helping my people!"
"Oh, you really like those pathetic, plastic assholes. How about instead of helping them for the sake of hel..." The Yellow Lantern was suddenly slammed through a wall by a large hammer. Zelda looked on to see two men in green, float to her.
"Are you alright?" Hal asked Zelda.
"Y-yes. Who are you?"
"Members of the Green Lantern Corps. Looks like Sinestro has his sights on Hyrule."
"Why?"
"...I do not know, but we're going to stop him, one way or another..."
Wrrrrr...
"Do you hear that?" Guy asked.
Wrrrrrrrr...
"Yeah, sounds like a jet.
WRRRRRRR...
Hal formed an orb around the three as a yellow jet crashed through the wall, being driven by the man that had been crashed through the wall earlier.
"ASSHOLES!"
The man summoned a massive monster truck, and smashed it on top of the orb, crashing it through the floor. The three occupants were stunned, but alive.
"Just who is this guy?"
"Who am I?" The man said as he landed next to the three. "I am Trevor Phillips, and you're all dead men!" Trevor summoned a grenade launcher.
"Trevor, another Green Lantern came out of nowhere, he's armed with a sword. I'll handle Jordan, you take out..."
"Why should I..."
"It's the Sinestro Corps, not the Trevor Phillips Corps."
Trevor gritted his mangled teeth, and growled before taking off.
"Did you call for backup?" Hal asked Guy.
"I thought you did."
"But then who... The rookie." Hal took off, only to be interrupted by Sinestro. Slamming through several walls, Hal flew off right into a mountain wall. Groaning, Hal got up, and saw Sinestro.
"Hal Jordan."
"Sinestro." Hal flew up to Sinestro's level.
"Once again, we meet in battle."
"You're not gonna stop us." Hal summoned a blade construct.
"Foolhardy, aren't you?" Sinestro summoned a more jagged blade construct.
The flew towards each other, yelling at the top of their lungs, and clashed blades.
Trevor flew into the air, looking around, until he saw flying green light. Summoning a carbine, he fired at the light.
Link took out his shield and blocked the bullet constructs with ease. Link flew towards the yellow light and drew out his Hero's Bow.
Trevor almost had this man in his sights, but then he flew in a completely different direction several times, causing him to lose track of the man.
"FUCK!" Trevor looked around, until an arrow struck him in the shoulder. With a grunt of pain, the man saw Link, bow in hand, and taking an arrow with a bomb attached to it. Trevor summoned a shield, and the bomb arrow struck him, flying him into Lake Hylia. Link flew down into the lake and approached Trevor.
"Who the hell are you, pixie man?"
"My name is Link, and you're attacking my home." Link replied, taking out his sword.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I thought everyone here was a fucking pussy. Oh wait, everyone is one!"
Link sighed.
"Whatever." Link swung his blade, but Trevor dodged the swing easily. Trevor then took out a gun construct and fired it at Link, who blocked the shot with his shield.
"The fuck is that shield made of, titanium?"
"Magic." Link uppercutted Trevor, causing him to stumble.
"Oh, you're going to die painfully, you mo-" The yellow glow and suit of Trevor disappeared, causing him to appear in his true appearance, a raggedly dressed man with a disgusting appearance.
And then Link's ring ran out of energy as well.
The two took no time to swim up to the surface, soon surfacing on an island on the lake. Trevor and Link crawled out, panting for air. Once the fatigue wore off, Link got off.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
Link turned to receive a punch to the face by Trevor.
"The fuck did you do?"
Link moaned as kicked Trevor in the shin. The meth-addict stumbled back, cursing repeatedly.
Once the pain subsided, he noticed Link getting into a pose, and then stomping.
"A lanky man like you, a sumo?" Trevor began to laugh at Link. "How rich. In America, we do fucking boxing!" Trevor swung a fist at Link who dodged the strike and responded by shoving Trevor his his palm. Trevor stumbled back, and then sneered.
"Come at me, bro. I'm twitching with anticipation!"
Link didn't know what boxing was, but it was obvious that it was simply throwing fists at your opponent.
Fine by Link.
Rusl ran towards Hyrule Castle, blade in hand to protect Queen Zelda. Whatever those yellow lights were, they weren't good news.
An explosion distracted him, and he saw a yellow light soar through the air, with a green light following.
He figured that those lights were going to end up in Lake Hylia. Deep in thought, he figured that he'd be able to stop these things, one at a time.
This is a stupid idea. Rusl dove right into the raging river going into Lake Hylia.
