Soon? TWO MONTHS IS NOT SOON! Right Marcus?
Marcus: Rigt. Two months is a lot. You haven't even had me for two months.
I get it. I only bought you yesterday.
Marcus: Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come...
So I'll update today! Sorry if it's short but did you want an update or a long chapter?
Alex sighed in relief as they made it out of the tunnel. "Finally!" she said, falling into the sand. "I never thought I'd miss the sun so much!"
Raph smiled. "I recall you saying that once."
"Now what? The others are probably in Ouroboros and we're lost," Lloyd noted.
"Wait, something just occurred to me," Mikey said.
"Oh no," Alex breathed.
"You guys didn't say anything about us being turtles," Mikey pointed out.
Cole and Lloyd exchanged looks. "Because we knew," Cole informed them. "Alex told us, and didn't you see the human-snakes? We're use to human sized amphibians."
"Reptiles," Donny corrected. "We are reptiles too."
"Right," Cole said, realizing his mistake.
Alex stood up and stretched her arms. "Okay, so how far do you suppose Ouroboros is?" she asked.
"We couldn't have walked too far," Leo noted. "Maybe only a mile."
"Why would you want to go to Ouroboros?" a voice asked.
They all turned to see a young girl, about fifteen. She had black hair with purple streaks, purple eyes, and tan skin. She was wearing a black t-shirt, purple fingerless gloves, jean shorts that look like they used to be jeans but the pant legs got ripped off, and black and white NIKE shoes.
"Uh... We're ninja," Lloyd said.
"Right, but why would you want to go to Ouroboros?" she asked again. "Isn't that the city full of snakes?"
"Yeah, well..." Cole started.
Alex cut in saying, "That's classified information. We can't tell you because if word gets out, it would cause a panic. That's the last thing we need."
"I won't tell anyone," the girl said. "Maybe I can even help!"
"Well, if you can help us find Ouroboros, then maybe we'll let you help," Raph offered.
Leo nudged his brother. "She can't help," he whispered. "She isn't trained or anything. She probably can't fight."
"She can hear you," the girl whispered to them. "By the way, my name is Katara."
"Nice to meet you," Alex said. "I'm Alex, this is Cole and Lloyd, and the Turtles are Leo, Raph, Donny, and Mikey." She gestured to each one. "And... You don't seemed freaked out by them."
"Why should I?" Katara asked.
They exchanged looks. "Never mind, then," Donny said.
"So, about finding Ouroboros," Cole said, getting back on topic.
Katara nodded. "Right, just follow me." Suddenly hair began to grow on Katara, then her body morphed and she landed on all four legs, and she was a wolf... All in three seconds. She sniffed around and signaled for the others to follow her. She took off through the desert.
"You heard, Wolf Girl," Alex said. "Let's go!" They took off after her.
"We've been at this for hours!" Jay complained. "There's nothing to open the door. I say we look somewhere else."
"I suppose we can try another tactic," Zane agreed.
There was a loud howl echoing off the tunnel walls. "What was that?" Kai asked.
"It sounded like a wolf," Misako noted. "But why would one be in the desert?"
"Your guess is as good as mine," Wu told her.
"Let's go check it out," Garmadon suggested. "But stay on guard."
Alex knocked down the last serpentine guard. "All the others are probably underground," she said.
"Great... Hey it's the Bounty!" Lloyd said, pointing to the flying ship.
"Your ship flies?" Donny gaped.
"Didn't I mention that?" Alex asked. "Let's see, I've briefly mentioned the Bounty once... I could've sworn I said it flew."
"Nope," Leo told her. "I'm pretty sure we would've remembered THAT detail."
"Should we board it or do you think there's more snakes?" Mikey asked.
"Hard to say," Raph mumbled. "But those snakes were easily taken down."
"They weren't expecting us," Katara said, changing back into her human form.
Alex turned to the hole as the rest of the ninja came out along with Nya, Misako, Wu, Garmadon, and Dr. Julien. "Hey, guys," she smiled.
They all ran over to them. "We're glad to see you safe," Wu said.
"Was there just a wolf up here?" Jay asked.
Katara blushed. "That would be me."
"Cool," Kai said. "How?"
"Wait," Zane interrupted. "Are they turtles?"
"We can explain everything aboard the Bounty," Cole said. "Come on, we have to make sure it's snake proof."
So... I'm sorry it's not long and that I haven't updated. Now that school's out I'll try and make it every Saturday.
Cole: Morgan is still excepting OCs!
Alex: Be sure to turn them in.
Marcus: Great, now Morgan is gonna make me rebuild the fourth wall.
Kai: Oops... Oh well!
Jay: Can I say it?
Lloyd: I wanna say it!
Zane: Let's let a guest say it.
Donny: I assume you mean us.
Leo: Then in that case... I'm saying it.
Raph: Why do you get to say it?
