Chapter 4- Trouble and Mayhem

Trunks- 13
Pan- 9

Trunks and Pan walked around the grocery store, bored. They had drifted away from their mothers some time ago while the women were shopping. They did this at least once a week- sometimes twice. They bought tons of stuff every time, mainly because they were having to raise three Saiyan hybrids.

To keep themselves entertained, the kids played innocent pranks on passing customers... Well, mostly innocent. The pranks consisted of walking slow in front of people who were in a hurry, moving wet floor signs, playing a loud game of 'Marco Polo' or 'Trunks Panna', as they so loudly did it, and having shopping cart races- the last game even got quite a few other customers to play with them.

They had done just about everything on their list, until Trunks had a brilliant idea of pouring vegetable oil down an aisle to see how many people attempted to walk through it... More people than he or Pan could even imagine were stupid. Instead of walking around the oil- even when they clearly saw it- many slipped and skidded through it. One man though, did not see the oil, walked right threw it, and fell on his bottom!

Trunks and Pan erupted in loud laughter as the watched the man squirm in surprise. He caught them laughing and glared at them, "you two!" Trunks and Pan froze, their eyes widening. That man was the manager! The main person who was always yelling at them! The man grabbed a shelf to study himself, but the wobbly shelf only tumbled down, making the man fall again.

"Oh crap," muttered Trunks.

"I think it's time to leave..." Pan whispered.

"I couldn't have agreed more," he whispered, grabbing Pan's hand as they took off.

Chi-Chi and Bulma sighed when they heard the loud bang! There was no doubt in their minds that Trunks and Pan were the ones behind the commotion.

Bulma started, "where there is trouble and mayhem-"

"There's Trunks and Pan," Chi-Chi finished with a smile.

Just then, they children skidded into the aisle the women were in, holding hands and running with a small group of employees behind them.

"We'll wait for you two out in the car!" Trunks did a half-wave with his free hand as they passed by.

Bulma and Chi-Chi shook their heads slowly as the children ran out the store. In all honesty, they should be mad at Trunks and Pan, but they found it hard to be. The kids were having fun... After all the hardships they already face, the two did deserve a bit of fun every once and a while.

Trunks and Pan made it to the car safely and started laughing victoriously. They were still laughing when their mothers returned to the car, the groceries already capsulized.

"What did you two do this time?" Chi-Chi asked as Bulma started driving.

Pan smiled sweetly, buckling up with Trunks. "What makes you think we did something, Momma?"

"Hm... Maybe because there were employees chasing you two...?" Bulma mused, keeping her eyes on the road. "They tend to do that every time we go in there, you know."

"It's not our fault the manager hates us," Trunks smiled innocently.

"I'm sure it's not," Bulma grinned.

"Bulma-San, can we listen to the radio, please?" Pan pouted out her bottom lip.

"Sure kiddo," the bluenette laughed, and Chi-Chi flipped on a station.

"ATTENTION!" The radio's speakers alerted urgently. "WE ARE NOW LIVE FROM PEPPER CITY, THE ANDROIDS LARGEST TARGET TODAY. THEY ARE NOW TAKING A JOY RIDE AROUND RHE CITY, WE ADVISE THE RESIDENTS TO STAY IN A SHELTER! THIS IS JUST-" Chi-Chi snapped the radio off quickly, her arms folding over her chest. Pan was quite, and didn't complain; she didn't want to listen to music anymore...

"This is just terrible, that's what!" Bulma stormed. "I can't listen to stuff like this anymore! Damn those two!"

"They're wrecking the entire planet!" Chi-Chi glowered. "Everyone is constantly living in fear, wondering when those two demons will strike next...! That's no way to live! There has got to be a way to stop them!"

From the back seat, Trunks and Pan had been listening quietly. Trunks' hands were clutching his knees tightly, trying to keep his anger in check. Beside him, Pan's nails were digging into her palm so deeply, blood was starting to draw. Both of them hated the Androids more than anything- even though they had technically never met them before... They knew the Androids were monsters, and it was their fault the earth was in constant distress.

"Mom, stop the car," Trunks spoke suddenly. "You two go home without me and Panna..." He knew Pan would go with him, even if he asked her to stay, plus, he didn't know if he'd be able to do it without her.

Bulma stopped the car in surprise, "what on earth for? What's going on, Trunks?" She saw the look in his eyes and she gasped. "You two can't be serious! N-O! I'm not losing you two to those monsters!"

Chi-Chi, catching on, started shrieking. "No way! Trunks, Pan, don't you two dare!"

Trunks and Pan shared a look, and before the two women could do anything they unbuckled their belts and flew out the open window.

"NO!" The women screamed after them, but it was pointless. The two Saiyans were already gone...

Pan was so nervous, she was shaking. The only thing keeping her from turning around and running back into her mother's arms was her hatred for the Androids and the fact that Trunks was with her. She knew without a doubt that she wouldn't have been able to do what she was doing if not for Trunks...

They landed on rubble from a building in the middle of Pepper City. The whole city looked as if it had demolished...

'Do you see them anywhere?' Pan asked Trunks, glancing around the city.

'No, maybe their gone, but I seriously doubt it...'

Just them there was a loud boom with an evil laugh behind it. The two kids turned to see a young man, who looked no older than twenty with shoulder-length black hair and an orange bandana around his neck driving a car. Beside him, sat a woman who looked the same age. She had about the same length of hair, but hers was platinum blonde, and she wore a denim jacket. The thing that got Pan though, was their cold blue eyes...

Slowly, Trunks and Pan flew up before the boy blasted the car. The man lost control and flipped it to the side, but both of them escaped it, unscratched.

"What the hell was that, Seventeen?" The woman demanded.

"I don't know! I just lost control!" The man snapped at her. If the male was Seventeen, than the female must have been Eighteen.

"It was me," Trunks spoke up clearly.

"Two brats...?" Eighteen raised an eyebrow. "You've got to be shitting me..."

"Awh, Eight, it's not so bad," Seventeen smirked. "They'll be easy to beat."

"That's only your opinion," Pan told him.

Eighteen leaned against a nearby building with a yawn. "Take care of them, Seventeen. I don't want to dirty my nails."

"With pleasure," her brother told her, a smirk growing on his face.

Trunks and Pan weren't prepared... Gohan had only taught them simple techniques. Their blasts were basic, and their moves slow compared to Seventeen's. Before either one of them could blink, he was in front of them. He kicked Trunks into a side of a building and punched Pan into the road.

"I don't know, Eighteen," Seventeen chuckled, walking towards Pan, who was trying to sit up. He leaned down and picked her up by we shirt, "this one is kinda cute..."

Pan' eyes widened as her tiny hands clawed at his fist, but he was far stronger than her. She trembled in fear, and a small whimper left her mouth as Seventeen licked his lips.

"Her mouth could be brought to good use..."

"You're disgusting," Eighteen turned her head away. "Whatever you plan to do with her, I don't want to know. Just make sure you dump her body when you're done."

"Nah..." Seventeen smirked. "I was thinking we could keep her around all the time..."

Pan frantically grabbed at his hands again as tears of panic formed in her eyes. Her struggle only made Seventeen chuckle.

"Say, Sis, I want to keep her as a pet."

"OVER MY DEAD BODY, YOU BASTARD!" A voice screamed. At speeds, Pan never realized Trunks had, he ripped her out of Seventeen's clutches and kicked the Android away. Trunks held her tightly, an arm underneath her knees and the other around her shoulders. Pan shook as she wrapped her arms around his neck and held onto him tightly. She looked up at him slowly and gasped when she saw his hair flashing blond as he glared at Seventeen, who was still on the ground.

"He's doing that weird thing that the other fighter does!" Eighteen's eyes were wide and fearful.

Suddenly, Gohan's ki was felt; he was on his way! Seventeen felt it too, and his eyes widened.

"She's mine," Trunks growled at Seventeen, holding Pan tighter. "I suggest if you two want to live, you will leave..." Seventeen swallowed hard, but neither one of them moved. "NOW!" Trunks barked, a swish of electricity surrounding him and Pan.

The Androids scampered off, and Trunks powered down with a sigh. Carefully, he put Pan down right before Gohan landed.

"Where are they?" He asked, looking around.

"They felt you coming and took off..." Pan told him. Trunks sent her a look and she barely nodded. What happened there would remain between them two.

Gohan nodded, "good... I don't want them hurting you two. Let's go home before they decide to show up again..."
