Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo

It was only a week until the dance and they were still planning the small things that were important for the dance to ensue. The two people who were mostly stressed out about the event (although they didn't show it) were Kyouya and Hime. They were huddled in the corner of the room by a table talking to each other about the trip that was about to happen in a few days time…

And on a completely unrelated note, Kiyomi had noticed that those two were spending a lot of time with each other! She wondered why those two were so buddy-buddy with each other when they were basically polar opposites, but, you know, love comes unexpectedly…

The time they spent at the Host Club was the same as always, Katsumi didn't come very often but she thought about staying a few times. However, every time she visited, either the twins or Tamaki would annoy her. This would cause her to verbally exclaim – in a monotone voice – "I'm being harassed!" But this was a normal thing at the Host Club.

Today's session was a cosplay session and the Hosts all dresses in Balinese royal costumes. Even Kiyomi and Hime were dressed for the occasion by wearing colours such as gold, blue and white. Their hair was also put up in a beautiful way where it really complemented both their face and clothes. It took them quite a while to warm up to the idea of wearing such thin and little clothes in the winter but both of them knew they had to do it for the money - the money.

You could say that Hime didn't mind working for Kyouya but she knew that when he wasn't feeling happy, he would suddenly dump a mountain high amount of paperwork for her to do. She swore that he loved - if not then, lived - to see her suffer. She couldn't deny the fact that she was one of the roots of his anger but there were also other people, not naming any names, who ticked him off more than she usually does. But she knew, she had to work for him to finally pay off the debt that Kiyomi caused in the first place. She breathed out and looked around the room filled with fainting and fawning girls; she found Kyouya. She took in his black hair and grey eyes… She wouldn't mind staring at that face every time she went to the Host Club. She blushed realising her thoughts.

Kiyomi, on the other hand, seemed to love working at the Host Club as she felt like she breathed the same air as them. Of course, there is no snobby side to this. What Kiyomi means is that she feels like she can belong with those weird people; that she can be herself without anyone judging her negatively. Although she's always been a free bird, ready to live life the way she wanted to, there was always the pressure of having to act her best in public as she didn't want to embarrass her parents. Having a lawyer for a dad doesn't seem bad at all but when it came to doing school work people expected you to know everything before anyone. So being a part of the Host Club, especially being a Host, helped her understand how most people viewed their status as a billionaires daughter or how it felt to be the only child – meaning the next heir – for the company. Kiyomi also loved the fact that there were so many good looking guys in the Host Club! She felt extremely lucky to be around them longer than the other fangirls but the sad thing is that all she felt for them was admiration. She thought she could get some sweet summer romance (even though it's winter) with one of these 6 boys in the room. All she could do was sigh away, everyday.

Now, for Katsumi's view, she dreaded the whole Host Club thing every day. She didn't like the fact that she had to take some of her time off studying so she could help please some girls on their dreams or whatever. She just didn't like the Host club, full stop. She didn't understand the idea of forming such a club in the first place. Why were there so many female students joining in the first place? She thought that they were just wasting their time. They could be studying for the future. They could be spending their time in much better ways than this. Katsumi shook her head hoping that the migraine that was about to come would go away with this one motion. But of course, she was never lucky in these predicaments so the migraine was there to stay.

A group of girls came along and shyly asked her "Is it possible to request for Haruhi-kun?"

With little effort, Katsumi smiled the way she would to people her dad would usually associate with "Gomenasai, Haruhi-kun is a little late today. Demo, if you're interested," she pulled out a thin magazine out of nowhere "here is a magazine all about Haruhi-kun! It's not out yet so if you want it then please pre-order it now!" The girls in front of her squealed like there was no tomorrow as they turned the pages of the (illegal) magazine. They turned bright pink and nodded indicating that they wanted to buy the merchandise. They signed a sheet of paper stating their name and class. "Thanks Aikita-san!" They then rushed off to a different place together.

When they were out of her sight, Katsumi exhaled and directed a glare to her senpai who stood behind her "I can't believe you're making me do this." She hissed at him "Where is Haruhi anyway? Some of these girls have been nagging me about where he is!"

As she raged to him, Kyouya just smirked, pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose "Fujioka-kun is just running a little bit late. You should be calmer, Aikita-san."

"I can do whatever I want!" Her voice was just low enough for him to hear "We just need to pay off the debt and that's it. Why do I have to be the 'usher'?"

"You're the only one who doesn't want to do anything. And you are intimidating the students who come here for entertainment. You look like a devil sitting by the window"

She gasped and was about to spew a load of curses in all the languages she knew but Haruhi came in – with a purpose to apologise for being late bit when she walked in and saw the south tropics, it was as if all the means to apologise was gone in the blink of an eye.

"Oh, It's you, Haruhi. You're late" The twins said in unison, as always. They sounded bored and slightly monotone.

Haruhi looked all around her, the place was sparkling unusually and, soon, she pulled out a mini calendar to confirm the date. Katsumi rubbed a hand on her face "I know. Absurd, isn't it?" She walked away to her spot by the window, thankful that the brunette finally arrived.

Kiyomi and Hime took no notice of the whole commotion that went on at the front of the club. Well, they did wonder, but chose to ignore it since it looked like Tamaki was twitching in some weird fashion. They definitely decided not to interfere when they saw Kyouya flash the 'Shadow King' face and Haruhi looked like she made the biggest mistake of her life.

So, as the young brunette sulked at her own misfortune, her 'prince' wandered off on a tangent about how that day in the Host Club would be dedicated for 'a supreme paradise, a hot, hot island of supreme paradise'. The motive behind that theme is to have all the cold students to come into the club; happy and warm – thanks to the perfect heater.

A few minutes had passed and everyone was ecstatic in the Club. They chattered with their favourite Hosts, laughed with them and ate with them. It was like a meet and greet but longer and you could request them again. The sibling in the club, Katsumi, Kiyomi and Hime, were all sat together as they didn't have any requests and things to do at the moment. Well, that wasn't quite the situation. Hime had a lot of paperwork to do because the dance was coming up and it seemed that the club always had new students coming in everyday. She had to organise both the dance and the growing requests for each host. Kiyomi, on the other hand, wasn't busy and decided to eat cake and drink tea with her blood-related sister. She had no requests because everyone wanted to have a chat with the other hosts as a golden opportunity like this might not come again. I mean, it's not like the Hosts are up for being half naked. Even Tamaki, the guy who claims to have such beautiful ivory skin, doesn't strip for publicity… Well, let's not challenge that.

Instead, with the time that they had, they decided to observe the club from the back of the room. The twins were doing their 'twincest' act where Hikaru gently took his younger brother's chin and tipped it up to face him. It is sad to say, our heroine, Kiyomi, nearly had a nose bleed from watching this short declaration of faithfulness. Honey played the cute part by acting childish and, somehow, climbing up his cousin's body and throwing a Hawaiian-style flower necklace around Mori's neck. Haruhi was acting like how she usually does: apathetic. She served drinks to various customers, watched how the other hosts did their job and when it came to her turn, she hosted many other girls by making them blush unintentionally. But then there seemed to be a turn of events.

"Hey," Hime said nodding towards a girl with a good-looking bob cut "what do you think they're talking about?"

Kiyomi didn't hesitate to confess that she didn't. Both of them looked at each other and with a silent agreement, they both crept closer to the two brown haired girls - on who is believed to be a guy – talking to each other very… intimately.

Haruhi looked up towards the brown-haired girl "Oh, I'm sorry. You must be my next appointment, Miss…?" She trailed off; hinting for the answer.

The girl smiled (or smirked) as she answered her name "Kasugazaki Kanako, 2nd year, Class B." She brought a hand up to touch Haruhi's chin "You're even cuter than the rumours say." Kanako said "I've made up my mind. I'm going to make you my new favourite."

The second the announcement left her mouth, the Club's president froze and turned to stone. The couple of girls who listened in to this conversation sniggered when they saw that response.

"I can't accept this."

It was already after the Host Club hours and everybody present was huddling around a brown wooden table to further discuss the plans for the dance party. Katsumi had left earlier, excusing herself from the club's planning. Her elder sisters were getting concerned as she hasn't been herself lately. She didn't join the club a few days ago and she's been spending less and less time with them. Hime and Kiyomi just passed this off as her feeling moody because it might be her 'time of the month' but they swore that if it happens again then they would confront her about it. She acted like Tamaki when he was depressed.

"Tono, stop eating that commoners ramen and come help us with the dance party planning" Hikaru said

"Is Princess Kasuga taking a likingto Haruhi really bothering you that much?" Kaoru asked.

Kiyomi whooped and pumped a fist in the air "Yeah! Go Hikaru and Kaoru for being mature!" They smirked and high fived each other with joy.

Kyouya was typing extremely fast on his laptop "Her illness isn't something that just started, right?"

With this, both Hime and Haruhi asked "Illness?"

The eldest of the Hitachin brothers decided to educate the people who didn't know about this 'illness' "Wandering host-hopping disease" he started off his hands in the air.

Kaoru followed suit "Otherwise known as never-the-same-boy-twice disease"

"According to Kyouya's files, most girls who visit the Host Club tend to stay with the same host" Hime stated but then Kyouya added "In perpetuity." The blondie then glared at her classmate next to her for making her look stupid by not using 'big words'.

Honey came bouncing in between Kyouya and Haruhi asking "Ah! Her favourite used to be Tama-chan before Haru-chan, ne?" This seemed to add fuel to the fire.

Haruhi then hummed in understanding "So this is because he had one of his guests taken away from him." Her eyes were emotionless and empty, as if it were provoking Tamaki's response.

Enraged, the Host Club king shouted "It's not! That's not it! From this day on, Haruhi, start dessing like a girl! Why do you have to be woefully popular with girls when you yourself are a girl? The only ones who know that you are a girl are in this club!"

The twins then decided to step in to the conversation. Hikaru spoke first "She opted out of taking any gym classes."

"Attendance numbers are mixed between boys and girls, so no one can tell." Kaoru added.

A split second passed by and Tamaki pulled out an old-style treasure box and rummaged through it "Otou-san… Otou-san…" He pulled out a picture frame bigger than the treasure box. The picture frame had a gold plated rim with embossed designs all around it. The middle section of the picture frame had an old picture of Haruhi in it with her hair still really long. "… wants to see you the way you were back then!" Tamaki shouted with tears gushing down his face. Kiyomi's eyes bulged out of her head as she saw how Haruhi looked not so long ago "Why did you cut all of that hair off?" She screamed from her position by the brown table.

It took Haruhi to comprehend what she saw "Please don't go blowing up my photos without asking me!"

Tamaki did a brave move by putting the picture up on the wall. It marvelled everyone at how much she changed from that to this.

"The more I look at this picture, the more amazed I am." Hikaru said "How can this possibly become that?" Everyone by the picture frame turned their heads to look at her for an explanation.

"The day before the entrance ceremony," Haruhi started "I had some gum stuck in my hair from one of the children in the neighbourhood. It was such a pain to get out that I cut it off."

"Why didn't you just cut your hair into a 'v' and layer it?" Kiyomi cried in the background "You didn't have to cut it all off!" Naturally, the club was too engrossed in listening to the commoner's story so they ignored everything she said.

"Just leave them, Kiyomi. They'll get over it…" Hime trailed off, her eyes glued to the computer screen "eventually". This was not good news for Kiyomi as she realised that she would have to listen to the twins rant about Haruhi's hair and the dance that's about to come. Although she loved the Twins, she found tem annoying at times. And she could already see them approaching "Kimi-chan!" They called out to her. With a smirk and a short laugh "Good luck." Hime whispered under her breath.

"One, two, three, slow. One, two, three, slow."Kanako guided as she taught Haruhi how to dance the waltz. You could see that the commoner was trying her hardest to learn how to dance despite how she reacted to joining the dance yesterday. "The man always leads," Kanako informed her and, for a moment, she let Haruhi take the lead but this just caused Haruhi to trip and topple on top of Kanako. For a few seconds, both of them just stared at each other while a dark, ominous creature sulked on the sidelines. His aura hinted of death and murder whereas the slight tinge of grey showed that he wanted to be in that position… with Haruhi… her being the uke.

But, of course, these were only delusions and so would never happen. Haruhi would also never be willing (at this point in time) to be a part of his delusions; her only objective: being able to pay back her debt.

The two girls, who were awkwardly sprawled out on the floor, hurried to get up extremely flustered (Kanako still believes that Haruhi is a boy). Haruhi apologised with much sincerity and Kanako accepted the apology from behind her handkerchief, cutely blushing from the accident before. Unbeknownst to the two girls - who now were having refreshments – Hikaru, Kaoru and Tamaki were devising a plan so each one of them would be able to dance with Haruhi. They were speaking in hushed whispers in the background and Kiyomi pouted as she wanted to dance with one of the redheads.

Naturally, Kiyomi wanted to dance with Hikaru since those two had somehow gotten closer with each other in the lessons that they shared. But he instead wanted to dance with his brother because those two were still inseparable. She noticed that Hikaru and Koaru still didn't trust the world and how it worked. She could kind of understand why since the two could hardly ever be told apart – especially if they pretended to be the other person. Even Kiyomi got it wrong sometimes and guilt in her chest would form.

In the end, the twins and Tamaki fought for Haruhi through the classic game of 'rock, paper, scissors'. Surprisingly, Tamaki won with a ridiculous smile on his face because he thought that he could finally fulfil his role as 'otou-san' with Haruhi. He had skipped over to Haruhi and asked her for a dance but she had refused him, rather harshly, and sent him away back to his corner of depression. Unlike Tamaki, the twins found joy in watching Tamaki suffer since the two had placed down scissors and Tamaki threw a fist down and won with rock.

Kanako sat on the table with Haruhi hovering next to her carrying a teapot. She was looking at the tea set with such passion in her eyes that her brown orbs turned a light shade of hazel with hints of green. Kanako named the type of china the Host Club used and complimented them for their good choice in product.

"Ah, Kazugazaki-san, you seem to have a keen eye for china," Kyouya said glancing at her from the top of his glasses. Hime, too, looked at Kanako from where she sat on the couch. Hime wondered why a woman like her would know so much about tea cups and fine china. "We have a new batch coming soon. You might want to look at them if you have the time" Kanako just sipped her tea with Haruhi watching in curiosity.

"Um, Hello" A rather tall student came in through the doors carrying a brown cardboard box with the word 'fragile' printed in red on the side. Next to him was a girl with long black hair and a miserable look on her face. "Ah, Tohru-san, welcome" Hime said from across the room, he sent her a small smile and a nod of recognition. On the other hand, Kyouya went straight to business and asked him about the box "Ah, Suzushima-san, is that the new set of fine china that we ordered?"

From the corner of her eye, Haruhi noticed that Kanako was having a hard time with him in the room. Kanako suddenly stiffened upon hearing his voice and her fingers started circling the rim of the tea cup she held in her hands. The atmosphere in the room had definitely shifted and everyone could feel it.

"Yes," Tohru answered politely "it is the first batch and the rest should come to you soon. I thought I would bring you some of it now so you can see if you would like it or not"

"That would be very helpful, thank you."

Hime then remembered that he was one of the students that Kyouya had asked her to search about. Before Kyouya could ask Suzushima-san about something, she beat him to it "You're leaving for England soon, right?" she asked him and playfully stuck a tongue out at Kyouya when he glared at her.

"uh, yes, I am" He answered "I'm leaving next month, actually" He informed them with a smile on his face. Hime was pretty sure that he knew who the girl who sat down in the chair was "I guess, I'll take my leave now. Bye" He gave the box to Kyouya who made Hime take it to the storage room for inspection later.

Haruhi blinked and after a moment of the comprehension she bluntly stated "Kanako-san, you and Suzushima-san seem close" Kanako spluttered for a moment while took a sip of tea and clumsily got up from the chair, giggling all the way "Oh no! We're not close at all" She giggled some more and hid behind her handkerchief as she excused herself and left earlier than she was supposed to.

"Um, am I missing something here?" Katsumi asked after she saw the faces of the people in the Host Cub.

"Not at all Aikita-san." Kyouya told her after he checked the stats in his black notebook "Haruhi, if you were wondering, Tohru Suzushima is the heir to the Suzushima Trading Company, a top performing fine china supplier."

"And we are currently getting our china from them because it's good for future business. After all, you did see Kat-chan come in with him earlier. They were probably getting all buddy-buddy with each other" Hime winked at her sister who glared her down with her vibrant, violet eyes.

"I making business, not friends" She snapped and started typing on her phone. Hime tried to look over to see what she was typing but the screen on her phone was too dark for her to see anything. The fact that she got caught probably didn't help since Katsumi turned away from her and now she was unable to have a clear view of what she was typing at all.

"Tohru Suzushima is also plain." Kyouya stated as he closed his black book. The twins helped him emphasize the word 'plain' by saying it with him.

'Ouch' Kiyomi thought when she realised that the Host club was merciless to boys other than them.

However, Haruhi still didn't understand why those two had a connection with each other so she asked "How are they related to each other?"

"They're engaged!" Honey shouted from where he usually sits for hosting while eating cake.

"It's been like this since they were young." Hime said hearts in her eyes. "It's like they're love was meant to be" She sighed wanted a love like that herself. She unconsciously looked at Kyouya who glared at her. She then went on to wondering if he even had a nice. 'But he's friends with Tamaki. Surely he would have a sweet and nice side to him?' She thought 'Of course he would. He would probably end up buying his girlfriend 100 different 0.5 carat diamond rings…'

"Kyouya, babes," she started off in English hoping that he wouldn't understand her. But she couldn't resist the temptation to tease him 'you know you love a good rom-com now and then!" She sent a wink and a kiss in his direction. To her surprise, he was indifferent to what she said and she only smirked in victory. He obviously wasn't as good as he thought he was; especially not if he couldn't even speak English.

"Hime, I can speak english. And please refrain from calling me 'babes'." Kyouya looked away from her slightly frustrated for letting such an unladylike girl into the club. He wondered how much it would affect the club's image if she were to act like that with the other students. He glanced at her in the slightest way and he saw her scrunch her face. He would definitely have to keep a close eye on her and what she does.

Tamaki then bounced from his spot and walked over to the group in a gallant manner with a plan forming in his mind "I have a plan!" He exclaimed which got the attention of the whole group "I have a plan to get Kanako-chan and Tohru-san together!" This enticed the whole group to huddle in a circle and listen to the King make his stupid, but effective, plan.

It was the week after Haruhi had learned to dance and the Host club members were all gathered in the Grand Hall to discuss matters for the even later. Tamaki made sure that everybody knew what they were supposed to be doing and when they were supposed to do it.

"Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai, you are both in charge of making sure nobody notices anything!" Tamaki screamed while pointing at the cousins "Hikaru and Kaoru, you are both in charge of grabbing Haruhi when it's time and making her look presentable for the plan to work! Kyouya, have you got the note?" He asked his best friend.

"Yes," he started "and I assume that I will be the one to make everything flow."

"Mon ami, you will always be a genius"

Everyone knew what they were doing, with the exception of Haruhi who knew practically nothing but was willing to go along with their plan. Hime's job was supposed to be working behind the scenes and this meant that's he would have to organise everything. She said she was fine with this job but as long as she had a chance to dance during the whole thing she would be content. Similarly, Kiyomi's job was to guide Kanako in the right direction (towards Haruhi) and make sure that everyone in the party would be okay. After all, she had to uphold her title as 'little sister'. Katsumi didn't want anything to do with the plan so in the end she just hoped that she would be able to play the piano in the hall so it would pay a little bit of their debt; Kyouya had complied with her wish mainly because it would benefit both of them. But he had also done it because he was curious. If he remembered correctly, Kiyomi was also excellent at paying the piano. He wanted to know how Katsumi would compare to her elder sister.

Kiyomi looked around the room and noticed that everyone had just suddenly got into their own groups and started having their own conversation. She also noticed, that despite it was morning, the dance would start fairly soon and they all needed to prepare and get ready for it "Well, guys, I'm pretty sure that's everything that needs to be explained, so if you don't mind us girls – yes that includes Haruhi – we will go home and get ready for his fantabulous dance in the evening! Ciao, bellos!"

And with that, the three mysterious sisters left and dragged Haruhi along with them.

It was finally evening, the hall were filled with girls of all shaped and sizes (though, ironically, they were all skinny and surely the same size) wearing all kinds of beautiful, designer dresses. The whole Host Club stood up along the staircase exchanging views on what might happen with the dance and what they would do if something were to go wrong. Haruhi was among the group of boys as the Aikita sisters dropped her off after they had given her a good scrubbing so she would glow when it came to the moment she would wear a dress.

As a result of them being huddled in a circle, they didn't notice the suddenly tall, slender girl in a black fitted suit come running up to them. "I'm sorry I'm late!" She said. Her hair was combed over one direction and positioned against her left shoulder in hanging curls. Her eyes were lined, from thin to thick, with eyeliner and she wore more mascara than she usually did, thus giving her an appearance of longer and thicker lashes. This accentuated her purple eyes which seemed to be incredibly eye catching for the evening. Her lips had a nice glossy shine to them and she had a brown blush put on her cheeks which made her cheekbones more prominent. The guys didn't recognise her at first, to be honest: they still didn't recognise her after a long while of silence "Kiyomi?" They asked wondering if it was her who came wearing a suit of all things. Everyone saw her eyes flicker in a split second and, just like that, it was gone. "No," she said, her voice held a soft tone to it. Almost painful to hear "I'm Katsumi" She started to fiddle with the feather earring that dangled on a thin thread. Everyone got over their slight shock when they realised that it was only her you could even hear Honey sigh a little. If they had Kiyomi in an outfit like that, they wouldn't have been able to go on with the plan. She would have attracted too much attention.

The twins looked her up and down and was about to criticise her choice in clothing. That was until they realised they couldn't criticise anything about her. From head to toe, everything matched. Even the suit looked classy and the black high heels gave her enough leverage to the point where she could make up for her short height. "You look good tonight." Kaoru complimented with a nod of his head. Her ears perked up when she heard those exact words from him. "What?" She asked, unintentionally sounding rude. "I said you looked nice tonight." Kaoru said with a frown 'She didn't have to sound mean about it' he thought. But in reality, Kiyomi was elated to hear that. She was pretty certain that Kaoru was the one who told her that but she had to make sure "Kaoru?" she asked and hoped that she got the right person "Yeah?" He said when he heard her quietly say it. He never knew that she could even be so quiet. He knew that she didn't speak and that she was incredibly bossy and rude in most cases but this was the first time that he saw her like… this.

"Thank you" she whispered to him, not quite meeting his eyes.

Badump

Her eyes widened when she realised that her heart just skipped a beat. How could her heart skip a beat? Why did it skip a beat? She started to panic as she realised that she was letting her raw emotions show. But honestly… What in the world would have made her heart skip a beat? She could ask all of the questions she could ask herself but she knew that she could never know the answer any of them. She was even more surprised that it happened with Kaoru of all people. She knew that he was good looking but what's a good face without a beautiful personality? That was what she branded him a long time ago. So what could have made him change in her eyes?

Katsumi saw him smirk; his white teeth sparkled in the light "So you could be cute" he said with a wink in her direction. Her face burned red and she turned around and walked towards the grand white piano that was in the corner of the room; all thoughts of him as that type of person all gone and burned in the deepest depths of her mind. She didn't know that there was a certain somebody who watched her walk over to the piano, no sheets, no books… nothing was placed on the stand in front of her. She played from memory and that's what caught him by surprise.

Elegant music played throughout the whole room and nobody noticed it start at all. They were too engrossed with their conversations and the intelligent way of starting softly then building up the music made it all the easier for Katsumi to stay unnoticed.

It was only a few minutes later and her two sisters came along wearing clothing that was supposed to suit their character. Katsumi peeked at her sisters who made a grand entrance through the foyer. Kiyomi came in, wearing a puffy, purple sleeveless dress. The top half hugged her chest and since the skirt of the dress started at the highest point of her waist, she could show off her long legs because the skirt had an effect to look long. The bottom half of the skirt was layered with purple netting and from waist up she had small jewels as decoration to make it look a little bit more interesting. She had simple makeup on since she didn't want to attract much attention to herself. The lack of makeup also fitted her role as little sister as most girls would love to give her advice on what she should do and she could make up some sob story about how her mother works so hard to earn money for them that they don't spend much time with each other.

However, in this case, Hime was quite the opposite. She wore a dark blue halter dress with an open back. Her hair was curled and stylishly pulled into a loose braided crown. Short pieces of hair fell out but it looked nice since it framed her face and it was a substitute to the lack of accessories she had on her. Also, she wore a couple of bangles on one wrist and a pair of hoop earrings to add a little something to her top half.

But the best accessory the two had was the man in the smart tux next to them. He had long dark hair which was gelled to the side but there was the odd hair that would slightly stick out. He wore a navy blue tux that complimented his blue streaked locks. His eyes, which were a mixture of blue and grey, scanned the room and came across a lot of girls who looked at him with hearts in their eyes. Anytime he made eye contact with them, he drew his eyes away, a sight blush on his cheeks.

Katsumi saw the trio walk in through the double doors of the foyer and she smirked at how well dressed they were. She was proud of her sisters for making such a spectacular entrance and the fact that they came there with a man was even better. She wiggled her eyebrows very slightly at Hime when they made eye contact. The girl on the receiving end blushed and looked away only to make eye contact with the Shadow King who looked cool in his suit.

"Hime." He said addressing her with a nod. He walked over and just before he passed by her, he whispered in her ear "most of the girls are already here. The party will reach its climax in 30 minutes."

With a smirk and a wink, she replied "Roger that" and walked away to her appointed seat. This left Kiyomi standing with the man in the dark suit "Aren't you curious as to who this man is, Kyouya-senpai?" Kiyomi asked innocently.

"I would be telling a lie if I said no," Kyouya started, he put on his business smile and held a hand out for the man to shake "I am Kyouya Ootori, the Vice President of the Host Club." It was always nice to start off with introducing yourself. It made the other person feel the need to say something about them "Konichiwa, Ootori-san. I am Tsubasa. Nice to meet you" He shook the outstretched hand of the Ootori. He was aware that the Ootori Corporation has a big influence in the medical business and in the business world in general.

Although Tsubasa introduced himself, Kyouya wasn't satisfied with the reply he received. He wanted for the man to at least tell him his full name and status. He wanted enough information to be able to search him up. "Well, Tsubasa-san, I hope you have a great time at the ball, if you'll excuse me, I need to have a discussion with your partner, Aikita-san" Kyouya moved past Tsubasa and took the girl next to him by the arm, gently. They walked a few yards away and from Tsubasa who looked extremely awkward standing by the door with all the girls flooding through.

"Kiyomi, the plan needs to start soon. It is 25 minutes until the time. Please get ready and interact with a couple of the girls in here. I highly recommend speaking to Kasugazaki-san first and then move on to a few of your regulars."

"Roger that! Oh and Kyouya-senpai, you don't need to dig up anything about that guy over there," Kiyomi jerked a thumb to the guy who was now talking to a couple of girls "you'll find out about him eventually!" Kiyomi smiled at the dark haired student in front of her. She wanted to put him and Hime together but she knew that her sister would most likely beat her up for it. She couldn't help but giggle to herself - the two would look good together. "What's so funny?" He asked her, his tone indicating that she should go on and do what she was told like a good girl "Nothing." She said. "Nothing's funny. It's more because of fate and chances."

Tamaki stood by the steps, all high and mighty, grinning like a fool to all his fans in the crowd "Hello! Hello, ladies! Welcome to the Host Club ball and I hope that everyone will have a wonderful time here!"

"There is also a special surprise for this evening," Kyouya started "there will be one lucky lady who will be able to be the Queen of the dance and will be rewarded with a kiss on the cheek from our very own King"

This announcement had everyone excited. It has always been a girl's wish to receive a kiss from their dream prince. It was just an inevitable fantasy that every girl grew up with. Hushed whispers traveled around the room as they chattered on about how magical the kiss would be.

"Well, we hope that you have a wonderful evening" And with that the girls went off in different directions and started to dance with friends and snacked on the food on the table.

From where she sat, still playing the piano from memory, Katsumi saw the Twins chide Haruhi for being less than enthusiastic to take part in the dance. Everyone was telling her to go and dance with some of the guests but she outright refused, not because she didn't want to dance with them, but because she didn't think that she would dance very well. It was then revealed that she didn't have much experience with elegant parties having only attended local neighbourhood festivals. Everyone was shocked to hear this, thinking that Haruhi had more of a life than she let on, but everyone was now certain that all Haruhi ever did was study and do what she thought would benefit her in the greatest way possible.

Out of the blue, Kyouya asked "Haruhi, why don't you have something to eat?" He opened his book and started to write some notes on the clear open page.

Haruhi paused and thought for a moment "Is there fancy tuna?"

With that one question, it was as if the whole room when quiet. Everyone was shocked to hear the fact that Haruhi had never had fancy tuna before. Even Katsumi, who was playing the piano so beautifully, fumbled over the keys.

Even though it made nearly everyone in the room sound slightly boastful, they couldn't help but show their shock in many different ways. Kyouya even broke his pen while writing! A pen! Tamaki had Mori call a chef to deliver some fancy tuna for Haruhi to eat. The girls just laughed it off and somehow made Haruhi's popularity rise as they thought that it was adorable that she hadn't had some 'fancy tuna'.

On the other hand,Tsubasa, the dark haired man, walked over to Katsumi and had a quick chat with her "Hey, Kitty Kat." he said with a wink "how's my favourite feline today?"

She sighed and kept playing. Mixing a few pieces together to make a melody that would make people feel calm "You shouldn't be talking to me Tsubasa." She said exasperated.

"And why can't I talk to you?"he asked purposely trying to irritate her. Another factor to this shenanigan was that he didn't feel like talking to some of the girls who wanted to catch his attention.

"Because you're attracting attention. Unwanted attention."

"Well, I can't help but be so good looking" he smirked flashing an unbelievably gorgeous smile.

"Just go away," Katsumi ordered. But Tsubasa knew that she was only joking "the party's climax ashould be sometime now... Tsubasa, take over for a minute?" She asked him.

He was hesitant at first, then gave in to temptation. It had been a while since he played the piano. It sure brought back warm memories. He started off by playing softly as the left hand to make sure that the tempo would keep going. Then slowly, he eased into the right hand just as Katsumi took her hand away from the keys. "Thanks" she muttered with a sigh. She watched as the young man played a piece that she didnt know. Katsumi wondered where he learned to play the piano because as far as she was concerned, he could only have one very special talent.

Katsumi's feet made their way towards the third room up on the second floor. She knocked twice before opening the door "Hey are you guys..." Her jaw dropped open when she saw Haruhi in all her glory. Standing beside Haruhi were the twins; smirking at their masterpiece. Haruhi wore a brown wig, the same colour as her hair and the dress she wore really complimented her skin. Hime's voice echoed from the speakers "Okay, let the party" she paused for dramatic effect "officially begin!"

So from that point on, Haruhi went to deliver the "confession" to Suzushima, Kanako 'accidentally' heard this and went heartbroken, after gently rejecting Haruhi, the ever-so-kind Suzushima ran after her (the way every guy should).

And thus, the finale came.

However, everyone knows that every good story doesn't just end with the guy and the girl getting together! An amazing chapter ends in a way where the writes makes an incredible plot twist nobody will ever see coming.

"I can't even fathom how he could even manage to push Haruhi right when she was going in for the kiss!" Hime was furious and she didn't even know why. She was only certain that her heart ached at how stupid human kind could be when it wanted to. Kiyomi was laughing so hard that she had tears in her eyes. She was shaking all over from the laughter "She... Oh, my god... That- that has got to be... one of the most... epic things that... has happened... In my lifetime!" Tears brimmed in her eyes and she nearly fell over because of her heels. Thankfully, Hikaru was right next to her so when she wobbled her hands just clutched at his arm and she happily kept on laughing and congratulating him. Up at the front, where all the attention was focused on, Haruhi smiled as if kissing a girl was completely fine and dandy and Tamaki looked as guilty as a child who did something wrong.

"Ahh," Tsubasa sauntered up to Katsumi and looked at all the people he'd just been acquainted with in the space of an hour "you sure are one lucky girl, Kat-chan"

Katsumi glanced sidewards at him, her long eyelashes fluttered and closed "I don't think 'lucky' is the word to use"

He paused in thought and watched her watch the crowd before him. Kiyomi and Hikaru were laughing with each other and Kaoru stood to the side acting innocent as Hime barked at him for ruining the plan. You could tell that Hime was furious but the slight glint in her eyes was enough t say that she wasn't being serious. Closely behind her, Kyouya stood writing in his suspicious black book and tried to comfort Tamaki but Honey wasn't making things any better. His cousin also didn't do anything to stop him from making things worse. In fact, Mori just stood on the sidelines, almost like a wallflower, letting things be as Honey's happiness is his happiness too. Tsubasa smirked not looking away from the crowd "You might think that right now but, sister, dear, you're gonna feel grateful that you even knew them."

Katsumi scoffed not believing his words "Yeah right! The only thing they're making me feel right now is a migraine." She sighed and turned around walking to the exit "I'll be waiting in the car!"

He shook his head. Her stubbornness was something that was going to affect her in the future. He knew it but that one flaw was a part of her and whether he like it or not, someone other than family was going to love her for it. He took one look at the special group of friends in the courtyard. Right at that moment, he saw Hime run and trip on her heels but Kyouya caught her in time.

'They're gonna be alright' he thought merrily 'They're gonna be happy'
