It had been many years since the day Ysera became his mate for life. The more he spent time with her, the more he grew to love her, and to her, she too grew to love him. Ysera kept the incident of being his mate from every other Aspect, wanting to surprise them all with the news as they looked at the new clutch of eggs. They mated a few times, and their surprise grew as the eggs she laid, while usually emerald in color, were now jade colored as the dragon whelps inside slept peacefully in the eggs. Ysera nudged them affectionately as Sintharia and Naraku lead the Darkwing flight into increasing the various tunnels down below the earth, creating new caves for other species to thrive in. The new inhabitants made themselves home there as Naraku took to the surface.

He had visited Tyrande and her friends once in a while, for his own time or whenever Tyrande called for him. He had given her and her friends the wisdom he had and advice to avoid trouble. He nearly laughed as he recalled how Illidan had doubts of the Emerald Dream until Naraku, who had learned how to enter the dream just recently, pulled him in there. Needless to say, the priceless look on the young night elf's face was etched into his brain forever. Though Illidan was a night elf, he was more interested in the arcane arts that the Highborne use, channeling the magic of the Well of Eternity to perform their tricks. He had warned Illidan to take caution when using magic, because magic can both harm and help the one who uses it. And he was serious when he told the well-known reckless elf who took this lesson to heart (more like Naraku threatening to eat him and then throw him back up right in front of everyone for public humiliation).

Malfurion, he was taking lessons from the demigod Cenarius that alone is interesting in Naraku's case as he heard of how powerful the demigod was and the son-mother relationship he had with Ysera. He respected Cenarius as he did his best to protect the forests of the land from defilement as he was connected to the Emerald Dream like Ysera is. But as of late, Naraku was feeling something in the air. Something was going on with the Highborne elves and the Well of Eternity. It didn't bother him at first, but then, the Whisperings returned. He heard them once in a while, scheming, planning, and then mentioned his father which made him begin to worry about the Black Dragonflight. It seems that it was time to give his father a long awaited visit.

*Neltharion's Lair*

Neltharion, Earth-Warder and the Dragon Aspect of the earth itself spilt his blood as the goblins took it. He was nearing it, perfecting his ultimate creation that would lead him to being the supreme ruler of the world. That was then, he felt the Whispers leave his mind as an all too familiar presence landed at the entryway of his lair. He wasn't the only one who sensed it, the other members of his flight did too as they felt their minds clear, soothed by the beating sound of the earth in its beautiful rhythm as the entity entered the lair. "Father, it's me Naraku! You there?" the voice rang out as Neltharion grinned. His precious legacy had returned, and from the looks of it, a visit. Naraku was a good whelp, always listening and following his father's orders as he led his Darkwing flight to another area.

"In here son!" he called from below as he heard the heavy footsteps of his son walking in. Neltharion looked at his son, rivaling him in size as he had finally become a wyrm himself after all those years. He sensed the power his son radiated as he came towards him and gave him a long hug. "It's been a long time father, I'm sorry I haven't been able to see you, Nefarian, or Onyxia in a while." Naraku said as he broke the hug as Neltharion grinned at him. "Nonsense, you can come and visit us anytime you want. Now come here, I'm working on a new creation of mine. I call it, the Dragon Soul." He said as Naraku's curiosity got to him.

He watched the goblins work away with the metals of the earth as he saw the object with his own eyes. A simple harmless golden disk with a chain, but deep down, Naraku knew never judge a book by its cover; it might kill you if you're reckless. "Interesting, what is it supposed to do exactly?" Naraku asked with curiosity as Neltharion laughed. "This Dragon Soul will be considered the most powerful 'beam of doom' as Malygos puts it, and will make his scales green with envy at such a masterpiece!" he replied as Naraku pictured the Aspect of Magic having green scales like Ysera and her flight before breaking down and started to laugh at the thought.

"Oh man! I've got to have the blueprints of this thing! Then when I do, I'll make it ten times better that'll make you green with envy!" Naraku joked at the two shared a laugh that shook the entire cavern, much to the goblin's dismay. But apparently, while Neltharion didn't mind the idea at all, but the goblins knew Naraku was quite the mechanic when he wanted to be, and he might create an artifact that would surpass the Dragon Soul if he had the right resources. They spend hours talking, catching up on lost times as Naraku explained how his flight has been as he mentioned how Sintharia had been.

Neltharion was pleased with the results and explained what the purpose of the Dragon Soul was. During a time of great crisis, he and other dragonflights would give a portion of their power unto the soul and use it to destroy armies or monstrosities that threatened the world. Naraku was impressed by his father's idea; this weapon was made like no other had. Maybe even, the most powerful weapon ever forged.

Soon, our freedom will come…

Yes, yes, let the little whelps do our dirty work…

The great chaos about to be unfolded is…invigorating…

Naraku mentally frowned at the whispers in his mind, no doubt an ancient evil of some sort that has affected the beings below, with him and his father the prime victims. But when Naraku looked into his father's eyes, there was very little of what reminded him of the great Earth-Warder left. Madness that was what he was seeing in his father's eyes. It sickened and saddened him of how the mighty have fallen. As he bid his father farewell, he flew over the Well of Eternity and blinked, he saw something in the area that shouldn't be possible, even in all things in reality he wished that he wasn't seeing right now. Demons were raiding the area. It was a partial amount of them, more like scouts, but now he knew from the depths of his heart, that something big is going on.

He had to hurry home and warn his flight and Ysera of the impeding danger. If this threat is not handled immediately, then this world might be destroyed.

Neltharion looked at his precious Dragon Soul, holding it eagerly in his claws gently as he sensed the strange demons out there. They would make excellent test subjects for his Dragon Soul, and that would prove to be very helpful to see if it would work. If it does, then his dream for the perfect world he has envisioned will come into fruition. He will be the new world's god, with Naraku as his heir to a new evolved flight of black dragons, and Alexstrazsa and Ysera as his slaves for mating. He relished in the power of the Dragon Soul, and with it, he shall become the mighty ruler of the world.

Nozdormu hissed with annoyance as his agents found the anomaly, a new one that was different in many ways possible. This…Naraku is a wild card on levels even the great Aspect of Time had begun to fear. With this dragon, he could see endless scenarios play out as he finally found one ending to this story that could work in his favor, for saving Neltharion from the corruption he is enslaved by, and the salvation of other mortal beings caught in the conflict. This sole dragon is the key, but he is a redeemer and destroyer, a pawn and messiah, a time-spanned soul that must embrace this new destiny.

Naraku had told his flight of what he saw and they were on edge, Ysera was away on her Aspect duties when he returned so he must wait on her to see if there is something that they can do to have the Aspects come and stop this possible demonic invasion before it becomes a nightmare to all living beings. "Sorry I am late my beloved." Ysera spoke as she appeared in semi-transparent form as Naraku smiled at his mate. "No problem Ysera, so listen, I was flying over the Well of Eternity and-"

"Alexstrasza is calling a meeting, all of the other Aspects are gathering due to this Krasus' behest. It includes the demons recently spotted near the Well of Eternity." She said as Naraku blinked. "Damn, that was fast. Is this Krasus guy someone who knew the future?" he thought. The irony was going to get him once he learns the truth of Krasus. "We are to meet at the Chamber of the Aspects. Are you ready my beloved?" Ysera asked as Naraku grinned at the thought of the many jaws that would drop with the surprises he will bring. Ah, times like these he feels like Naruto Uzumaki again. "Ready my love, on my way!" he roared as he took flight off to the skies.

Krasus, lover of the Queen of Life Alexstrasza, teacher of the mage Rhonin, and also the member of the Kirin Tor of Dalaran in the far future, was trying his best not to react to the sight of the Dragon Aspects as they came into the Chamber of the Aspects one by one. Besides seeing his beloved queen, there was Ysera the Dreamer, whose slim form that was half-seen by a haze of sorts as her eyes were still closed. He was in despair as he did not hear of anything about Nozdormu coming to this summons, but suddenly, something wild and magical happened. Brilliant flashes of red bolts and electrical storms descended to the ground swiftly as it exploded into awe-inspiring colors as it began spreading out and taking form. Out of it, a massive glistering dragon that had seemed to be made part crystal and ice appeared from the fading storm. With a merry expression on his face, it looked like he enjoyed the spectacle more than anyone else.

"Welcome, Malygos," Alexstrasza greeted in a polite manner as the Aspect of Magic looked at her. "Such a pleasure to see you, Queen of Life!" he said with a hearty laugh a she looked at Ysera. "And you too, my fair dream!" he said as Ysera nodded silently who also had a hint of humor in her expression. "So, how fairs your realm?" Alexstrasza asked her long time fellow Aspect who beamed happily. "As wondrous as I would wish it! Filled with brightness, filled with colors, and filled with young!" he exclaimed as Ysera smiled at that. "Perhaps the creators should have made you Father of Life instead of Guardian of Magic Malygos!" she commented as Malygos looked at her with a smile. "An interesting thought! Perhaps a matter to discuss some other day!" he laughed as Krasus felt guilt swept up deep inside of him.

Krasus was aware of the fate of Malygos in his time, betrayed by the one he called brother, madness descending upon him, and all lonely in the frozen north. How could he say it to the legendary dragon? He was lucky his queen was able to keep himself from being interrogated by Malygos as Ysera mentioned specifically that two more dragons were coming. As if on cue, one of these dragons entered the chamber, encircling the place twice before landing. It was a black leviathan, rivaling all of the Aspects in size, with the definition of noble in depiction as any other dragon out there. Narrow veins of actual gold and silver streaking from the front to the back, accenting his spine and sides as his black scales hinted with precious gems naturally embedded in his hide as he radiated a primal power around him. "You have called and I have come. It is always good to see my friend Alexstrasza…" the dragon spoke as the Dragon Queen smiled.

"And I welcome your presence, dear Neltharion." She replied. The minute the name of the black dragon was spoken, Krasus, atop of his past self Korialstrasz, fought to keep himself from shaking. If he fought to keep himself from reaction to Malygos, he struggled to keep himself from shaking from horror at the future enemy of all the dragonflights. This dragon, the one who, if he was one of Alextrasza's flight, would have selected him as one of her mates, the one dragon he wanted to emulate when he first met the great being in his younger years, which stopped after Neltharion's future madness; the Betrayer, the Black Scourge of his time, Deathwing. "We must wait for one more, and he'll be here shortly." Ysera spoke up, with a smile on her reptilic face, gaining the attention of the other Aspects. Who was it, Nozdormu himself?

The portal leading to the Chamber of Aspects shook from the incoming being, the power the creature radiated as it landed on its back legs as its wings were outstretched as Krasus could not recall anything about this dragon. "Everyone, meet the leader of the Darkwing Dragonflight, and my mate for life, Naraku." Ysera introduced as every Aspect, one time traveler, and one consort of the Life-Binder, looked completely shocked at the news as Naraku unleashed a mighty roar as he stood tall and proud in front of all in sight.
